“I have been to this Cafe 3 times. Each time, I have ordered an Iced Latte with sugar-free Vanilla. All three times, the Lattes were delicious. I have not tried any pastries yet, but they all look great. There is seating inddor and outdoor. “My new favorite Cafe. My cousin from California wanted to try a Cafe. I normally don't go to Cafes but stumbled across Hahu and I'm so glad we did. I have been there several times since then and have tried their breakfast, lunch, and desserts. I've also tried their matcha and coffee and everything have been excellent from the service to their food and drinks. They're Ethiopian dishes are amazing. I never had Ethiopian food but I love trying new foods and they did not disappoint. Even the American dishes are delicious. It's my new spot to just relax and enjoy some good food, drinks, and atmosphere. I highly recommend this Cafe, you won't be disappointed.“

You walk in, and there's this cool self kiosk thing where you can totally customize your drink – like, pick your tea, sweetness level, toppings, the whole shebang. “Beautiful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing cafe. So many wonderful pastry choices ranging from red bean paste buns to croissants, cheesecake, sandwiches, and drinks. You take a try and walk around the middle to get all the pastries and at the end you pay along with if you want some drinks. The people there are very nice and friendly. I had the matcha lavender latte and it was so good! I liked how tasty and sweet it was.“

“All in all, a pretty cool place and unique in downtown Vienna. I want to come back and visit when it's a little less crowded.My daughter and I came here on a Saturday morning to grab a quick cup of coffee before we took on the day. On walking in, I was immediately struck by how small the place is. The space really isn't all that big and there are only about 5-7 tables throughout, so during busy periods (like when we went) it would be really tough to get a seat.There was no line, so we went right up to the counter and placed our order. They don't do pour overs on the weekends, so I got a drip coffee and had it in my hand just a few seconds after ordering. After scanning the room, I realized that there were no tables available, so my daughter and I went outside and sat on a bench out there for a few minutes until the cold got to us. In total, I probably spent less than 3 minutes inside.That's too bad, because I really enjoy getting to enjoy the atmosphere of a coffee shop and having a little time to enjoy and experience the coffee. That said, it was my mistake for coming here at a busy time and honestly, there's only so much you can do about the size of a building.The drip coffee itself was okay, nothing to write home about – but that's drip coffee. I love that this place roasts their own beans and I would love to come back when they're doing pour overs and give it another shot.Overall, this place has some cool potential and I want to try it again and will update my review after the next round.“

“I tried my Cravingz for the first time this morning. I ordered the breakfast plate and a chai latte. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The breakfast plate was excellent and the chai tea was really really good! I will be trying other menu items in the future.“

“Definitely a top spot for coffee in NOVA. The coffees are all made with care and the baristas are excellent. The butterscotch latte and rose latte are my favorites. They also have some baked items and cooked dishes available, but I haven't yet tried them. There is some seating available, but it definitely gets busy on the weekends and peak times so it may be hard to get a seat.“

Unsweetened, completely smooth, perfectly balanced flavor. I didn't try the soft serve or the delicious-looking shortbread bites *this time* but I'm already planning to return next time I am in Centreville. Seems like a nice place to sit and work or catch up with a friend. Many were there with laptops or chatting with one or two others. Very clean, minimalistic vibe inside but in a warm way. Also seems to be kid-friendly. I will return -- on that note, I wish that my neighborhood in the Union Market area of NE DC had something like this matcha tea house. “Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. If I am ever anywhere near here, I will definitely come by for more delicious treats!! If you live nearby, support this locally owned shop. They deserve all the success possible.“

“This place is adorable, it is inside of Tilly’s kitchen and there are so many spots to sit. I ordered the BELT and the strawberry matcha bingsoo and they were ready in about 10 minutes. “I love it when an owner of a small business pays great attention to every complaint, feedback or concern conveyed by a customer.I used to live within walking distance to this place. I loved the atmosphere, the quality of coffee and baked goods and the general vibe of the shop.One time while I was placing an order at the cashier, I noticed the lady taking my order was treating me poorly and rolling her eyes when I changed my preference for a breakfast choice and finally threw the receipt on the counter for me to pick up. I understand people have bad days, but you can't be rude if working in the front-facing part of a popular coffee shop. I went back to my table in dismay, when I noticed that the barista by the coffee machine acted like she is the manager giving orders to the others on how to go about running their stations. So, I approached her and asked if she is indeed the manager, and she said she is actually the owner. I conveyed my complaint to her without pointing fingers and she immediately apologized and offered me a free pastry. She promised to improve the training and make sure no other customer gets this poor treatment.I RESPECT excellent customer service. Kudos to this place.“

“A fine if small bakery tucked into the back of a strip mall, the Fairfax Bakery brings Turkish inspired foods and pastries to the area. Their pastries, of which we have sampled a number, are excellent as are their breakfast sandwiches. The Turkish breakfast platter is a Mediterranean adventure as is the baraq (sp?), something like a filled bagel. Their Turkish bagels are a real treat, and for those who like sweet coffee so is theTurkish coffee. Go early in the day for take out pastries as by lunchtime they are often sold out. Recommended for take out and for a quick breakfast in the small sitting area. Pleasant service.“

“Loved everything I’ve gotten from here. I’m a huge bread head. Literally my favorite food. There’s so much variety from classic pastries to Korean inspired ones. Mini sized pastries to sandwiches big enough for lunch. They will offer to warm gold items for you to eat while dining in. “Their donuts are so good, as mentioned in other reviews the croughnut is one of the best. All of them are pretty delicious, you can’t go wrong!!The service could be better, especially if you don’t come often. I asked for a dozen donuts to be split into two boxes and the employee at the counter said “I’ll have to charge you for 2 half a dozen”. I told her I didn’t mind. I think it wasn’t what she said it’s how she said it. I get it they’re a small business and I’m all for supporting local small businesses I didn’t mind, but I think a better approach in their mannerisms would have been nice.Also, I’ve been on a weekend and it can be a bit chaotic and messy since they have tape on the floor as a guide for traffic, but it is a bit confusing, so you may be out of line and then have to either hope the person behind you is courteous to let you go ahead of them or go to the back of the line.Again, donuts are great though!“

Lina made a really great recommendation to me for the warrior bowl, this was such an exotic thing for me, but I was willing to be pushed out of my comfort zone. “HKTH is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. You order everything from 1 of 2 kiosks and your order is ready right away! There are 6 tables and plenty of seating! The two staff members that made my smoothie and dish were helpful in choosing the right sauce for me. I first had Chinese Spicy on the side, but it wasn't spicy at all. I was provided chili oil and spicy mayo, both of which were better options, but I'd probably get the dry spicy seasoning next time. The chicken was fried to perfection and stayed hot for a while! For smoothie, I enjoyed the Coffee Oreo Smoothie with Brown sugar boba, a first for me. It was DELICIOUS and I don't even remember drinking it until I was on my last gulp! I look forward to supporting this establishment in the future!“

They treat every customer like family and will take the time to ask you about your flavor profile and what time of coffee you typically like and then they proceed to provide you with an amazing coffee experience with the most delicious pour overs to espresso based drinks you've ever had. Watching them work is an added plus. They pay so much attention to each step of the process from when they freshly grind your beans to when they pull your shot or make your pour over, you can see them deep in thought; fully engaged in the process. They are constantly rotating their beans, bringing in award winning specialty coffee beans from all over the world. They usually have the beans for sale as well in case you love it and want to take some home.“

“Gathering Grounds has some nice coffee. I would personally recommend their hot coffee drinks, because whatever milk for the latte has a nice steaminess to it, hence the latte. The iced coffees are also pretty good, but I personally prefer the hot coffees more. The chocolate croissant is pretty good, and tastes like it just came out of the oven. I also like the ginger tea from here. If I had a suggestion, however, it would be to offer more options for sandwiches or wraps the way Starbucks does. Maybe some turkey bacon, or chicken.Servers are nice, but I do wish that they had more seating as the place can get easily cramped, but when they are available, I really enjoy the lounge chairs.“

“I love this hidden spot! When I need to focus on projects I come here. The him in the air from people around and the great vibe is welcoming to me. I usually drink their tea and have their pastries which comforting. I will say sometimes their music is super loud so it can be distracting to some. They also have chargers pretty much everywhere so they are catering to people like me and I never feel rushed or pushed out. Love them!“

“This is a great coffee shop, but it has one critical flaw - the place is very cold. I'm here in late February, and everyone in the place, including myself, is wearing a coat. I asked one of the employees what the thermostat was set on, and she responded, somewhat rudely, that she didn't know. She then said it was on auto. Not helpful and no pretense of addressing the issue. Still, the coffee is great and the service is excellent. I look forward to returning regularly when spring arrives.“

A very sweet woman working up front as well, it felt comfortable in there. I do like their self serve kiosk machines which can make things efficient if you know what you want and have done it before. But did I tell you about the Vietnamese ice coffee??? If you have never been here before and you do like coffee, give this a try. There is the OG Vietnamese ice coffee that is stronger and bolder in flavor that may need some time for the ice to help dilute the flavor a bit; unless you like really strong coffee.“
