“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. Hahaha - just pass it over here! Enjoy. (Daily?)“

“We had a wonderful family dinner at Jeong K-BBQ & Makchang while watching the World Cup. The Korean BBQ was delicious, and enjoying it with somaek (the classic mix of soju and beer) made the meal even better.
The quality of the food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching the game with family. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

“After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

“This is my go to coffee spot and you really can’t beat the price. Even when I add oat milk to my lattes my total is usually around $5.50- much cheaper than most coffee shops in the area. I love the brown butter toffee and the blueberry cobbler lattes. Some of the workers definitely make the lattes better than others- on a one off occasion my latte tasted like nothing as if they didn’t put any of the flavored syrups in. Their strawberry lemonade is also very good! In terms of sandwiches, I love the chunky dunk and my boyfriend is a big fan of the club sub- even claiming it’s the best sandwich he’s ever had. Ive been coming to this spot since they were a little shack down the street- I love it!“

“We will definitely return! Totally were pleased to see a great outdoor area close to kayaking. Service couldn't be better. Delivery was unexpectedly quick! The popcorn shrimp was ample and so well seasoned. The hot pretzel came out overcooked and too hard, but they were so accommodating with a replacement, and didn't ask for it, but they refunded us for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary, but the thoughtfulness and friendliness caught our attention and is a large reason we'll continue to patronize them. Also, I could definitely bring home a large dish of the cucumber salad -- so refreshing and tasty! Hope there's a fall/winter plan to keep it open. “Love this place! The staff is incredibly wonderful. Always so sweet and helpful. Always willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, and improvise when needed. Been multiple times and have always had a great experience. They also work their butts off keeping the orders cranking out. We have a gluten allergy and dairy allergy in our family so they are always helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating when we order. The space is adorable. You can feel the vibe that is a kind, loving, community space.“

Small little coffee shop with great coffee (my fav is their cold brew with cheese foam) the cheese foam is actually a sweet foamy add on that almost resembles mascarpone and is a fabulous touch to the cold brew and not overly sweet just perfect. And I love how there’s coffee pastries and comfort meal staples like Korean fried chicken and teokbokki. I love their rose teokbokki with cheese. Perfect heat with scallions and an egg that makes for a yummy comfort meal. Give it a try ❤ will come back for their KFC.“

“The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. I know what to expect so I’m always satisfied with my food from the fresh baked daily bread to the variety of Vietnamese classic soups such as pho, bun bo hue, and bun rieu 😋 10/10 highly recommend and bring a friend!“

I just happened to catch it when I went to sign after it was already paid. My husband and I were so pleased with the food and service that we had already planned to tip 20%... Instead it felt like robbery. Not a very honest way to do business so I went from planning my next return to now second guessing if I'll come back. Still, the food was excellent. Just wish there was some transparency and integrity.“
