“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. Hahaha - just pass it over here! Enjoy. (Daily?)“

“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“I was so glad when we found this place! It is tiny (7 tables + carry-out, I think). The food is Korean. Classic bibim bahp, daeji bulgogi (spicy stir-fried pork), jahm-bong (spicy noodle soup with vegetables and a little squid), and several others. There is only one other place in Woodbridge where you can get Korean food, and I prefer Dosirock. Try it. I think you'll like it. Rocky“

The meats and sides offer a familiar, classic KBBQ experience. But what really sets this place apart from the rest is their ramen service. They actually cook and serve ramen for you, which was an unexpected but amazing addition to the heavy BBQ! It perfectly balanced out the meal. Ended up having a very satisfying, filling dinner. I’ll keep this place in mind whenever I want a solid KBBQ night with a great noodle finish.“

“Craving Korean fried chicken and wanted to try this spot located inside CafeV. Called and got a run down on the flavor profiles for the wings. Placed a take-away order over the phone for the Hot Spicy. Was advised it would take 20min. Not an issue. When we arrived we waited a few more minutes to retrieve our order. The female employee was welcoming. You can also order via kiosk or at the counter. The restaurant is always clean, brightly lit and offers conversation level popular music playing in the background.

We retrieved our order and when we got home the wings were still hot, temp wise. First bite, flavor explosion! So good. The skin was crispy and the sauce provided a gentle heat first and quickly intensified the more I ate, yum. The chicken itself was flavorful and moist. We will definitely order again. Me the Hot Spicy, perfect level of spices, heat and a touch of sweet and my husband wants to try his hand at the Wings of Fire!“

“This was my first time going to this place. I was searching for a nearby place that had sourdough bread sandwiches and this one came up so I decided to try it. It did not disappoint. Very refreshing to not have to drive to Lorton 15 minutes away! thank you!“

“After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

“We will definitely return! Totally were pleased to see a great outdoor area close to kayaking. Service couldn't be better. Delivery was unexpectedly quick! The popcorn shrimp was ample and so well seasoned. The hot pretzel came out overcooked and too hard, but they were so accommodating with a replacement, and didn't ask for it, but they refunded us for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary, but the thoughtfulness and friendliness caught our attention and is a large reason we'll continue to patronize them. Also, I could definitely bring home a large dish of the cucumber salad -- so refreshing and tasty! Hope there's a fall/winter plan to keep it open. I just happened to catch it when I went to sign after it was already paid. My husband and I were so pleased with the food and service that we had already planned to tip 20%... Instead it felt like robbery. Not a very honest way to do business so I went from planning my next return to now second guessing if I'll come back. Still, the food was excellent. Just wish there was some transparency and integrity.“

A little rough on service start we had to listen to waitress vent about how she has to serve Alo e and the guy who was to show up to help won:t be in until 5pm. Also referencing that don't ask her questions that are obvious in the menu. Later she turned super nice. A must try if you are in the area. The food is fresh and delicious“
