“We were here as part of a tour group, so might have had a different experience than some. We ate in a room off the dining room. The food was already for us in buffet style. Still, everything they made was excellent. The staff took good care of everyone in the group, matching the challenge to meet everyone's needs.

Overall, I was impressed with how smooth this went and how well the staff paid attention to detai.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“First time trying Eggs and Suhsi. I had to get my car fixed and it was right across the street. I ordered miso ramen with pork chashu and salmon rolls. It was really good, good portions and reasonable price! I’m glad I tried it out and would be interested in coming back to try more on the menu. The staff was also very kind and attentive. “A simple, affordable hidden gem in Saratoga/Newington/Fullerton Road area. The breakfast is always great, the pancakes are moist and fluffy, and the prices are affordable which is unheard of nowadays. There's plenty to choose from and service is quick and kind. They have local cold/flu remedy drink options like hibiscus/ginger, ginger, and orange carrot which are spicy and delicious. Lots of international drink options. I wish they were open for breakfast on weekends since there aren't any breakfast options in the neighborhood. A great local business.

“this was the best experience i had for my birthday and 1st time being here and Timothy was our server and he did an excellent job with his smiles and friendliness and our wonderful bartender Jay zehring was very friendly and kept the smiles going and both were fantastic so whenever you go in greet Timothy and Jay and the drinks were very very good and food was excellent. the whole crew was very friendly and kind and greeted you will lots of smiles and the place is well cleaned and if you have never been to manchester lakes in springfield please do so. i rate them 5 stars 🌟“

“Loved our experience at Mt Vernon Restaurant. The restaurant fits the aesthetic of the rest of the property and feels like a step in the past. Has proper southern fare at a good price. Only disappointment was the wine selection. Even though Virginia has a great wine selection, there was only 1 bottle on the menu.“

Base access pass is required.
It is a grill restaurant. Table service is not available. Customers order at the counter to takeout but general seating is available. Food is good and prepared fresh. Portion sizes are good. The cost is reasonable. I recommend for quick meal.“

However, it was the food that stole the show. My steak omelet and my kid’s B&E Burger were the BEST we’ve had since coming to any Bob and Edith’s. I know this is a new location, but I hope they can keep everything to such a high standard.“
