“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“One of those neighborhood gems that punches way above its weight class. It deserves to be a lot more consistently packed with diners and bar customers for the quality of food and drink.
It's not an Instagram trap and located in a modest shopping center where the anchors are a Home Depot, post office, and animal hospital, so IYKYK. My only request is they bring their roast duck entree back to the menu, that was my go-to and so delicious.“

“I truly can’t be more appreciative of Jay for going above and beyond for us! He came into work early to make what was probably the most delicious cheesecake my co-workers and I have ever tasted. It was absolutely perfect and made our birthday/good-bye/happy retirement celebration that much more special.
Not only was the cheesecake incredible, but the customer service was above and beyond in every way. Jay’s kindness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate our request meant so much. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does.

“My boyfriend and I visited Cooperwood Tavern for the first time, and we had a wonderful experience! We sat outside on a beautiful day, and our server, Elias, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. As someone with celiac, I really appreciated how helpful he was in guiding me through the gluten-free options on the menu! The food was delicious, and we especially loved the baked brie appetizer with fig compote and honey. They were able to substitute apples for the bread, which made it both celiac friendly and absolutely amazing. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend!“

“this was the best experience i had for my birthday and 1st time being here and Timothy was our server and he did an excellent job with his smiles and friendliness and our wonderful bartender Jay zehring was very friendly and kept the smiles going and both were fantastic so whenever you go in greet Timothy and Jay and the drinks were very very good and food was excellent. the whole crew was very friendly and kind and greeted you will lots of smiles and the place is well cleaned and if you have never been to manchester lakes in springfield please do so. i rate them 5 stars 🌟“

“Loved our experience at Mt Vernon Restaurant. The restaurant fits the aesthetic of the rest of the property and feels like a step in the past. Has proper southern fare at a good price. Only disappointment was the wine selection. Even though Virginia has a great wine selection, there was only 1 bottle on the menu.“

“Amazing and fresh oysters! My sister and I sat at the bar and ordered a dozen oysters while we waited for our takeout order. Bartenders Jim and Brian were amazing, friendly, and great service!
From our takeout order, we ordered a bunch of appetizers, our favorite were the fried calamari and clam chowder soup. Definitely will be back.“

“Excellent evening at the Woodbridge, VA NYAJs yesterday! We were greeted by the manager Usy( I’m not good at names) who was working on clearing tables. We had a couple minute wait for our outside table. There were 3 of us and we ordered drinks and appetizers to share. Desi was our server. She was attentive and cheerful (not annoyingly so). The Bang Bang Shrimp, Potstickers and my favorite Ahi Tuna Wontons were wonderful! Cocktails as well! We all had been regulars up to about 18 months ago as the service was atrocious. So glad NYAJ is back. This is my 2nd visit in a month. Will be back soon. Kudos to the new manager and staff. Keep it up!“

“We drive all the way from New York to get lunch here. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the country. Amazing food, even more amazing staff, and in a historic setting...it can't be beat! Try the Hot Apple Cider with Apple Brandy. And don't forget the Hoe Cakes, George Washington's favorite for a reason! Thank you! See you next year.“

It is a grill restaurant. Table service is not available. Customers order at the counter to takeout but general seating is available. Food is good and prepared fresh. Portion sizes are good. The cost is reasonable. I recommend for quick meal.“

“The college is very pretty! Hard to find your way around, if you have never been there. Went for the arts and craft fair on November 9th. Wish there would have been signs showing where to go. The art and crafts from the students were nice to see. The painting s/drawings and jewelry were unique!!“

“I’ve loved Bob and Edith’s for over 15 years. However, this location just took it up a notch. The service was blazing fast. The interior is squeaky clean. However, it was the food that stole the show. My steak omelet and my kid’s B&E Burger were the BEST we’ve had since coming to any Bob and Edith’s. “I got the spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles, baked Mac and cheese with the banana pudding for dessert. The sandwich with the red sauce 8.8/10 nice healthy pieces of chicken, the Mac and cheese 9.2/10 the top was nice and crispy and the cheese was super creamy. Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! Yeah I plan on returning to try 3 more random items from the menu“

“Enroute back to Savannah, GA, my son and I stopped here because IHop is one of my son's favorite spots. They were having issues with their system, but still maintained their professionalism. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She made sure our orders were correct. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and my son had the kids silver dollar pancakes. Before I could even ask for a refill, she already was bringing a new glass with our drink. Great spot and excellent service. What more could you want.“
