Halal Restaurants near Lorton, VA

“We came based on the amount of good reviews and it didn’t not disappoint! Some of the best butter chicken and chicken tikka we’ve had! We’re not local but already planning on coming back.“

“My experience here has been great. they are really nice. they always ask me if I would like any other sauces. the food here is delicious.Service is always great they lady is super nice always making sure I have everything I need.I really recommend this place.“

“Today I went to Shah's Halal Food in Stratford, CT. Their food is well seasoned and very delicious!“

“These were some of the most kind young gentleman I’ve ever ran into in my whole life. They greeted me with a nice kiss at the door. They where so kind and even gave my friend Accommodations because he’s blind out of his left ear and deaf out of his right eye when he asked for a sample, they gave him 2/4 of his meat and allowed him to eat the meat straight out of his hand followed by a “goood boy” the cashier said“

“Food was better than expected. You wouldn't think that this delicious food was prepared at a food truck. The food was delicious, the portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. Save gas and time and come try this food truck out!!!! I ate all my food before remembering to take a photo but it was the chicken platter. I will be back for more“

“5 stars isn’t enough for this level of handsomeness the guy who works there his name’s Sharam or something like that he was awesome. He was very professional, and helpful. Great customer service and so gentle .The definition of fine 😁“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“Interesting “northern”Chinese food. Different from the regular Chinese food“

“Great food! Always tastes fresh. We're big fans of the Hunza kabob, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. I would recommend swapping out the music with some nasheeds or something quieter. Difficult to hear the people we're sitting with.“

“So flavorful! Worth the hype 😋tasty“

“While visiting family they took me here for lunch, the place is so beautifully decorated and clean. The volunteer who took our order was super friendly and you could feel the passion as they spoke about the business and how their mission is to help the less fortunate. I cannot wait to visit again to drink more of the qaiymoq chai and eat the steak & cheese! 😋“

“Passing by, stopped and accepted a great recommendation for Shawarma wrap. It was delicious. I ordered to stepped out and returned food was hot ready to travel and smelled delicious. I instead sat and tasted, wound up staying and enjoying the meal and woody woodpecker cartoons. Staff came and said if you were staying to dine in I would have given a different recommendation to really enjoy the food and taste the flavors. I will be returning and further enjoying this fast delectable food. Blessings brother!“

“Keeping in mind that I'm no expert in Chinese food AND so, I can only compare apples to apples, it's a decent restaurant. I have to say that it is definitely a lot more tasty than many other Chinese restaurants in the area. The veggies are not frozen or canned, there was real freshness to them. The guy at the counter was nice and friendly. Overall a good experience and plan to return.“

“I came in lost. Unsure of what I wanted. Starving and clueless, Eldana(I hope I spelt right) kindly guided me to crafting the perfect meal. The manager, Andrea, and her sidekick Siem, created the most welcoming environment. The service was exceptional right when I walked in the door. The food was amazing. Definitely coming back 1000%!!!!!“

“Halal Kingz is literally the ONLY place I will buy falafel from in Woodbridge. I always have an amazing experience with the staff and Umer is so pleasant, helpful, and accommodating! As soon as I came in, he greeted me and was more than willing to offer pleasant customer service! It goes a long way when you have people who genuinely care about the impression they leave. Umer was certainly that. Much love to the Halal Kingz!“

“We were visiting from California and came across this restaurant near our hotel. The food and service was great, the portions were large and the price was very good. We loved the food and the traditional afghan ice cream (house made Sheryakh). Very friendly staff.“

“so nice delicious with a reasonable price.“

“Thanks for the clarification and i removed my review but My concern came from the menu using the word “ham,” since ham traditionally refers to pork. Turkey or beef versions are normally labeled “turkey ham” or “beef ham.” It may help avoid confusion for Muslim customers if the menu clearly states that your ham is made from turkey or beef.“

“what were some of the highlights at big red halal you ask?? THE CHICKEN.. and the red sauce🤤“

“I was a bit of a skeptic at first before trying Dave’s. But since they launched the X-men meal - I figured I’d give them a shot. I’m so glad I did. Hands down one of the freshest and best tasting hot chicken sandwiches I’ve had. The fries are also crispy and well seasoned. The service, particularly from Alex at the Arlington location was top notch. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a great meal!“

“Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It’s great to have a spot with quality halal options, and you can really tell they care about the food they’re serving. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and everything tasted delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and would recommend to anyone looking for a good halal meal!“

“Awesome food and open late at night“

“This was my first experience with this type of food, and it was good! Very filling, the single protein platter was more than I could eat in one sitting, and I'm a rather large eater. I would go back. However, I would say The Halal Guys are comparable to the Little Ceasars or Domino's of their place in the industry. If you want to play it safe with a commercialized version of Halal food, then this is it. Please don't take that as a negative, Little Ceasars has its place in the market & it's time for when necessary, and so does The Halal Guys.“

“The most delicious, authentic Indian food served by a most gracious gentleman. The Nan, of which there are several choices, was warm and buttery. The homemade cheese was exceptionally delicious. Another diner had butter chicken and was raving at how tender the chicken was. And the samosas were wonderful. Everything at our table was a 10 out of 10. Treat yourself, dine at this wonderful restaurant!“

“Ordered at the register and the cashier was great. I think his name was Daniel and he was very kind and proactive. Really wanted to give him a shout out because it was one of the more pleasant customer experiences I’ve had since moving up here.“

“Really good chicken shawarma and very friendly service! Since it's located inside a Shell gas station, parking and seating are minimal. We ended up driving across the street to eat in the Afghan grocery store parking lot. Will definitely go back.“

“Zaffron is hands down the best caterer in the DMV! They catered my sister’s wedding and everything was flawless. From the service to the mouthwatering food. Our guests are still talking about it. Highly recommend for any event!“

“Amazing food and service! definitely will be going back!!“

“Great halal food variety 👏“

“Absolutely loved this place! 🔥 The lahsa was sooo delicious and full of flavor, and the Adeni tea was amazing! ☕ Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Definitely coming back again — highly recommend! 🇾🇪❤“

“Great food, very fresh and nice staff.“

“The new Bread options are spectacular!!! There is a vast assortment of all sorts of international delicatessens and treats!“

“I ordered DoorDash had the Combination of Quabili Palau and Chalau, served with meat sauce and one skewer each of shami, chicken, and lamb kabob, and it was outstanding.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Quabili Palau was rich and aromatic, the Chalau was delicious, and the meat sauce tied everything together beautifully. The kabobs were all excellent—the shami was tender and well-seasoned, the chicken was juicy, and the lamb was flavorful and perfectly grilled.

The portion size was generous, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re looking for authentic Afghan cuisine, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Great Everything is great Great food Professional staff Mr Husnain has great professional attitude“

“Like Indian foods and Bangladeshi flyovers“

“so good! lots of vegetarian options“

“Love the Garlic Twin“

“SO GOOOOOD! I got the beef sandwich with hummus with a side of hummus and pita chips. They have baklava cheesecake, that's right BAKLAVA CHEESECAKE. Both chocolate and regular, I tried both and it was the right decision. And for ALL OF THAT it was entirely affordable! I came with my sister and the friendly atmosphere and customer service made it a new core memory💕 if you are looking for good food, good service and good prices, The Halal Guys are the right choice!“

“Shah’s Halal Food never disappoints! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Everything tastes authentic and delicious, especially the chicken and rice. Definitely one of my favorite halal spots — highly recommend!“

“Great food! The menu has a lot more options now as well.“

“Ali is always wonderful and provides excellent customer service. We have been going to thai restaurant for the last 30+ years. Hero and other staff employees have all been so kind and gracious.

I hope shiney's brings gluten free naan soon. Thank you.“

“the owner the cashier Great. The food was soooo good n fresh!“

“I love it here. I wish I took pictures. But I was just so happy the entire time I forgot. Everything about Saba is beautiful. The food is amazing. The people are kind and sweet and happy to have you there. Our waiter was Hamza. He was wonderful and helpful and so sweet. Whenever anyone asked me any question all I could say was “I’m so happy”. Because truly, everything was lovely. I cannot wait to come back. I will be telling everyone I know about my very happy experience here.“
