“We no longer live in the area, but this was a favorite restaurant when we did. It’s been about four and a half years since last there, but we were trying to remember the names of the two waitstaff we found exceptional. One was a woman named something like Kennan and the other a tall man we believed was from the Caribbean, tall, professional and always said loudly “door” when going in and out of the kitchen. Good memories.“

“I came here with a friend to play darts. While I didn't get food I did come here to grab a drink and check out the area... The Cue Club is a sports bar and pool hall if you enjoy going with a group of friends for a night out. I think it has the essentials of a good sports bar. Draft beer, good food ( I haven't tried it but the bulgogi sub looks good ), and pool, darts, and foosball for people to play. Service wise it took a minute for me to flag someone down to order some beer but beers did come out quick once I did confirm my order in. I don't know if the cocktails are good but we'll have to try again another time. For what I came here for, darts are in a separate room like the pool tables, and it's very spacious. The darts were available if you chip in 5 dollars, play all you want really. I honestly had fun learning how to play cricket but it is a long game. Although I didn't win against my friend this is enticing enough for me to play more when my friends are available. It's also across the street from O'MyChic so familiar territory for me.“

“Kilroys is a family restaurant that been here forever. It's casual and has an old-fashioned ambiance highlighted by heavy, dark, wood decor and hundreds of posters, photos, signs and magazine covers from decades ago, back to the 30s or 40s. The food is of good, but not great, quality. No connoisseurs here. Despite finding a sign at the entryway they they were short-staffed, our server was prompt, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately the appetizer we ordered , Crispy Fried Calamari, arrived late, barely warm, and soggy. We complained and the server gracefully removed it both from our presence and the bill. Everything else was delicious. Prices are reasonable ($50 - 70 for 2 without alcoholic drinks)“

“For the prices, good food and decent selection of beer. The building is a little run down and the owner is a complete goofball. He saw me with my tablet and told me I better not be trying to hack into his network. I was just reading the WSJ online. Weird dude, has some social skills issues. Hence my rating of 3 for atmosphere. The rest of the staff are pretty pleasant. Not a bad spot if you can avoid the owner.“

“We had our son's birthday party here last Saturday. Hard to argue when he (aged 8 now) and 12 of his friends had a great time.Doyle's Outpost has something for everyone, and apparently, a lot of adults come here sans kids, which seemed odd to me, but they do have a full bar and pretty good food. Anyway, there are a lot of arcade games, including the fan favorites. The laser tag arena is really cool--two levels.Since this was a party, we had a table. The party area is just a common area with a bunch of long tables, so you won't have a ton of space dedicated to your group (other similar venues have individual rooms).We had pizza and mac-and-cheese for the kids, and some good appetizers for the adults.The staff were great about being attentive in refilling the pitchers and bringing out the food. They were also on top of the times for our laser tag games, giving us plenty of time to round up the kids.So, yeah, pretty good experience, and most important of all, my son and his buddies had a blast.“

“Listennnnnnn, I've had Astro Doughnuts before and they are amazing. But the one in VA is the only one that gives you a doughnut with espresso in it! They cut a hole in the doughnut put Nutella in there and that keeps it from soaking the doughnut.....whoever invited this is a genius. Chicken sandwiches was one of the best I've had in the DMV. The service was fantastic. She informed me on the specials and how the coffee doughnut was made.“

“This place is very spacious/open and is great for kids/babies! I came with a group of 5-10 for brunch on a Saturday and there was plenty of space for all of us. Food was great and lots of drink options. Service was nothing to write home about, but I wouldn’t expect super quick/attentive service for a beer hall and it wasn’t too bad.“

“Cute place, loved the decor and all of the lights. the atmosphere was great and the bartenders were super nice. we sat at the bar and they made sure to ask your name and gave you theirs. checked in often and made sure we thought everything was good. there were a ton of options for food which was great, especially for picky eaters! the only negative I would say is it is a small place. obviously the size is out of the restaurants control but it made the space feel a little tight. I would definitely go again and recommend for anyone in the area who wants something simple and good!“

“Formerly (and always) Fast Eddie's. This place has been my "Cheers" for over a decade, and remains my favorite spot for darts, pool, and social gatherings. Always guaranteed to see a few staple regulars wearing a friendly smile, making this spot feel like home. I have so many great memories here with fantastic people I've met here throughout the years.“

“At the I was there I was a customer there that was 20 years ago from 1999-2002. It was a great atmosphere everyone that worked there at the time were very friendly and I got along with everyone. I met alot of people and made friends there. I live in North Carolina permanently with family I left Washington D.C area in 2017 and I regret not visiting back at Hard times before I left. “Amazing food and service. Very chill bar with pool tables , darts , live music , bingo , and so much more. Steak and cheese and slice pizza is definitely my go to ! They have a bar area with lots of TVs and a separate entrance to the dining room. Happy hour EVERYDAY of the week !!!! This place is definitely a hidden charm .“

“Was visiting out of town for my sons volleyball tournament, and a small group of us came for dinner not really wanting a chain restaurant type of place. This place was great!!!! The prices were very fair, and quality of food was excellent. Had the garlic pizza, chicken tortilla soup, garden salad (with their homemade champaign dressing), turkey club, and fried chicken sandwich. THere wasn't a bad order in the bunch. There are tons of choices for restarants in the area. However, if I came back to the area, I'd probably come here again. This was a lucky pick for us on a whim, and I'm glad we tried it!“

“I wanted a salad with carbs on the side. We got the Cobb salad and loaded cheese fries and it was all so delicious. Loved this hearty salad and had a couple of fries as well. This is my new favorite place for a salad. And they were super generous with the dressing. I love this restaurant and staff. Definitely recommend!! We have also gotten wings and most of the appetizers. I have never gotten anything we didn’t love.“

“This Ethiopian restaurant has authentic flavors and vibrant spices and is the best Ethiopian food in the area. The injera served with a variety of savory stews creates a delightful blend of textures. The filet mignon "yishint tibs" is a must-try.“

“During a recent trip to the DC area, my family and I had the opportunity to dine at Dudley's Sports Bar & Grill, and we were truly impressed by the experience. We were visiting some friends in the area and decided to grab lunch at Dudley's, and we were not disappointed. My four year old son especially loved the bubble hockey foosball table and video games, which kept him entertained while we waited for our food. The atmosphere at Dudley's was great, with TVs scattered throughout the restaurant and a nice sports bar vibe. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We started off with the jumbo pretzel with honey mustard and beer cheese sauce, which was the perfect combination of savory and salty. The boom! boom! shrimp was also a hit, with a zesty sauce that had just the right amount of kick. One of my personal favorites was the steak and cheese egg rolls, which were hand-rolled and served with a delicious beer cheese sauce. The chicken alfredo was also a standout, with grilled chicken and cavatappi pasta in a creamy parmesan sauce. Overall, the service at Dudley's was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a sports bar themed restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend giving Dudley's a try. You won't be disappointed!“

“Amazing food! The beer batter in the Good Friday fish was honestly what I needed. The staff was a bit new, so no real solution to that, but even then they were attentive and eager to serve. I’ve been a patriot of glory days for a bit now, and this quality has been improving for the past year now here at barcroft.“
