“We went to the Crown Embers for our 37th anniversary. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, wonderful salad bar and the food was cooked to perfection. Pricilla was our waitress and she was wonderful. We will definitely go back.“

“Amazing experience!! Everything about this restaurant will have you reminiscing for weeks. The atmosphere is so unique and upscale, and not something I would expect to find in Lynchburg. The craft cocktails are delicious and I couldn’t get enough of the food!! Incredibly high quality. My personal favorites were the empanadas and the wings. I look forward to seeing what changes are made on the rotating menu.“

“Found this little gem when searching for place to eat not too close to Liberty U. Great location next to train tracks and James River.
Atmosphere was fantastic - old train depot furnished with church pews, vintage quilts and signs. A model wooden train engine adorns a wall. Beautiful turn of the century bar as you enter.
We both order blackened chicken Philly and they did not disappoint.
Since we were on a road trip north, didn't test any beer but you can be sure we will be back to do that.“

“My favorite place…. Bootleggers never disappoints!! The Smoked Pimento and Bacon Grilled Cheese is my absolute favorite! The atmosphere is amazing and the service is always excellent! My boyfriend, my daughter and I stopped in for lunch yesterday and we were all very happy with our appetizers and entrees, as always!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I had a really great experience here! The service was super polite and quick to refill drinks while you wait. The food itself is pretty great, too. I'd recommend the burgers and soft pretzels, for sure. The atmosphere is relaxed and overall is a great place to dine with friends.“

“The service was phenomenal and the coffee and pastries tasted amazing. I'm not sure why this place has a lower rating, the prices are fair for the service being rendered. If you're wanting a cheap coffee, this place isnt for you. But if you have the extra money or just want to show a little local appreciation, this is the place to be. Thanks for making the weekend at the conference center a memorable one! Can't wait to come back to Lynchburg just to visit you guys!“

“This place is a great bar and has bar vibes. It was just what we were looking for on a Sunday night that wasn't mainstream or corporate. The food is tasty, too! We were recommended the pork waffle fries, yum! It hit the spot, and warmed my heart as much as the Tulladew😄 Monday we stopped in and they have Trivia! Right beside the Homewood Suites in Lynchburg, check it out!“

“We had breakfast there on our anniversary weekend, and it was the best restaurant breakfast I've ever had! The omelette, home fried potatoes, and mocha latte were all made to perfection. Delicious! We are looking forward to going back with our kids...and our dog, of course!“
