“This was my bestie and my spot 8+ years ago and I on a whim remembered it. My boyfriend and I ate there tonight. It was served fast and hot. The waitress check on us several times to make sure we ordered and received everything before the kitchen closed at 9:45pm. I do not normally enjoy the white sauce at any restaurant in Virginia. Although I am proud that it's a Virginia thing, so I at least try it. I loved the white sauce there! I believe I fell in love with white sauce that long ago Every white sauce I have had since then has been a disappointment and caused me to not like it. But I'm back home and I promise you that this is the best white sauce in Richmond!“

“Aside from my family’s cooking, Mi Jalisco is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I was shocked to have such authentic Mexican food so far east in the US, but sure enough, it was delicious. Today was our last night living here so we had to enjoy it with Mi Jalisco one last time. Not only is the food delicious.. their portions are so big and the staff is the absolute best. The service is incredible. We became regulars and saw how much other regulars enjoyed their food, the atmosphere and the staff. We frequented the Ridgefield location(?) off of John Rolfe Parkway. Thank you to Martin, Jesus., Modesto, and the rest of the crew for making us feel at home when we were so far away from family. Mi Jalisco is so rich in the Mexican culture that it almost seems like it’s Mexico! Muchas gracias por habernos cuidado durante este año. Esperamos verlos en el futuro. “The food was called in and had to wait, no big deal the phone had been off hook for 30 minutes prior. Once ordered went to pick up, had correct food on ticket but got home the fajitas had no rice, beans, toppings or tortillas to go with just the chicken and vegetables and my sons tacos i asked for hard shell plain with nothing but chicken- again, when opening them at home and they had cheese melted all in the chicken no way to pick it off. Had to take order back up there and they had left the sides ou and apologized for them not making it to the bag and said that they would remake the tacos (which took 20 more minutes after having to go back out to get this all fixed). Left a hefty tip the first time for a takeout order and was very upset my family and kids were at home waiting for dinner and i had to go back out and get everything fixed because we set down to eat and realized none of the food was correct. They act like thats not inconveniencing and laughed it off as a simple mistake. Make sure you check your orders and open all the containers, as well, otherwise you could find yourself out of dinner, gas, and an extra hour of time in the end.“

“4/7/24 I observed a worker while getting a propane refill at (Quioccasin and Pemberton) walk out the trailer to the store (gloved hands on the door and other store fixtures, handling money) and back out of the store, back into the trailer and straight to the grill (it was that close) with no change of gloves. I walked over because I couldn't believe what I saw and asked the guy why didn't he change his gloves. Apparently there was a language barrier so a coworker step in i then repeated....why didn't he change his gloves. He then said..."He didn't touch anything" I'm like really!!! If they are that careless and trifling the way sickness is spread nowadays with a "nothing was wrong attitude" towards a question why weren't gloves changed do you really want them making your food? I know it smells good around that trailer but BE CAREFUL!!! folks.“

“Excellent service at this location (11621 w broad st)!! We walked in at 8:54 not realizing they closed at 9. The man at the hostess stand was super nice and pleasant. Even with them closing so soon he was willing to seat us and allow us to enjoy our meal. The waiter was super nice as well. He brought us chips and salsa and took our order quickly. The food was prepared in a timely fashion as well. Would definitely come back to this location for a meal!“

“One of my favorite food spots would highly recommend the best tacos in town the pupusas are delicious also I've tried a number of different dishes here and haven't been disappointed yet. prices are very reasonable too I got 3 carna asada tacos a bean and cheese pupuasa and a drink for 13$ they don't skimp on the meat either it's authentic Latino food“

“Habanero Mexican Grill is fantastic. The woman working the front counter was extremely friendly and helpful, and she served up some of the best street tacos I’ve had in a long time here in Richmond, Virginia. The tacos came with cilantro, onion, and a great green sauce and without me even asking, she somehow read my mind and added grilled onions and a grilled jalapeño slice on the side.
The salsa had just the right amount of heat and flavor. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. If I had one small gripe, it would be that I wish there were a table or two inside for eating on colder days like today, but don’t let that deter you. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and honestly, the food tastes just as good in the car or at home.
I even doubled back and went inside again just to thank her in person and let her know how great everything was.“
