No matter who I interact with and even if it's been months since I've gone through the drive thru...the experience is always superb. A huge shout out to the manager as well. She runs a tight ship with space for fun :)“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“Our favorite go to breakfast place on weekends. Rose latte and davant coffee’s are the best in the store for someone who likes sweet coffee. House special bacon egg and cheese on a croissant is my most ordered breakfast. This place has nice aesthetics and it’s always busy on a weekend. “I stopped by for the first time recently and was impressed. The space is cozy and welcoming. Vinnie was friendly and so helpful. He gave me great recommendations for both a drink and some coffee beans. Everything he suggested was spot-on. The beans are fantastic, and even was told the owner hand-roasts them. There is always food and trash on the tables and floor. They also need to clean the bathrooms. This hand print has been on the wall for over 1 year.“

“After reading positive reviews about this Hong Kong Tea House, I decided to try it for lunch.

The interior of this cozy cafe was clean and well-maintained, though seating options were somewhat limited. As a self-service establishment, customers can conveniently place their orders at kiosks, and I appreciated the owner’s thoughtful gesture of bringing the food to my table.

The Gyudon Japanese Beef Bowl was enjoyable, though I found it relatively standard and felt that the portion size was small for the price. The Hong Kong Coffee Milk Tea was satisfactory, and I was pleased to discover that I could adjust the sugar level to suit my taste preferences.

The establishment offers a variety of food options, including Jian Bing Guo Zi and Popcorn Chicken. I look forward to returning to sample these dishes.“

“Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. If I am ever anywhere near here, I will definitely come by for more delicious treats!! If you live nearby, support this locally owned shop. They deserve all the success possible.“

“I love coming to Kokee Tea in Aldie! It is my go-to spot for both bubble tea and coffee whenever I am in the area. Whether I’m in the mood for a refreshing fruit tea, a creamy milk tea, or a perfectly crafted coffee, this place never disappoints.

The atmosphere is modern and inviting, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain different drink options and helping customize orders exactly how you like them.

“Recently moved to Centreville and I am glad I checked this place out after a friend’s recommendation. It is a small, cozy space that is very well decorated. I love the variety of dessert options that the place had to offer and their location (SUPER CONVENIENT).

Ordering system: There was an option to order ahead on their website, but we decided to go into the store to order. A kiosk was available for us to quickly order what we had wanted in store.

Place: Parking is plenty as it is next to Hmart. But… sitting is limited.

Bingsoo: Offered in two different sizes (cup vs large). I ordered a large black sesame bingsoo that was perfect for four people. Overall, the bingsoo had just the right amount of sweetness and was very delicious.

Coffee: Once again, perfect amount of sweetness and very delicious! I would say, coffee is not too strong. Loved the fact that it was priced at a reasonable price.

“This is "MY" Starbucks. This is the first Starbucks I ever visited and it's been a blessing to me. My youngest son worked there for years, My beautiful daughter-in-law worked there and she and my Oldest son met there. “Kolaches outside of Texas?!?! Of course one would find them at a donut shop named, Texas Donuts. Finally, NoVA can be considered, ‘civilized’. If you don’t know, Kolaches were introduced in the Republic of Texas by the Czech immigrants, and were adopted by the people there to generally have meat, rather than a fruit filling. As a Texan, I will say their kolaches were on point, and I found their raised donuts to be very fluffy and delicious. Totally worth the 25 mile drive this morning. Thanks so much for making me feel at home whilst in this Commonwealth.“
