“I had a very large order for a birthday celebration, thus a to-go order. One of the families had just returned from living in Japan for several years. The quality and creative selections were so good that they were even impressed. I ordered just a little more than I needed, but the sushi boats were much generous than expected, so we had very nice leftovers to enjoy. Everything was packed and carefully, and the platters were beautifully arranged; it almost felt bad to eat them and ruin the artwork. We will definitely be back!“

“BEST KATSU my husband and I have had in the DMV area so far 😊!! We’re a little bit of a Katsu connoisseur since it’s one of our favorite food and this place ATE DOWNNN!! Food came so fast and the gentleman that was serving us this Wednesday evening was so polite and tentative although it was a full house, will definitely be back :)“

“Oh my gosh! Aka Sushi is divine! We had seaweed salad, tuna roll and salmon belly, and WOW! So fresh, super delicious! The service was wonderful. Very clean, actually immaculate . We foodies highly recommend Aka Sushi. You will not be disappointed.“

Portion sizes are generous, particularly for lunch specials, and complimentary side dishes such as kimchi and miso soup are appreciated. The extended operating hours offer a convenient dining option, especially when other establishments are closed. \n\nSome good dishes, and we recommend:\n1. The Agedashi tofu, with its delightful combination of textures and well-balanced sauce, is especially noteworthy. \n2. “All you can eat sushi at about $26 p/p. Add $6 for sashimi options. Good sushi, fresh and not a ton of rice to fill you up. As all-you-can-eat goes, this place is a keeper. Usually order a set amount from any sushi restaurant, so that's what I ordered... That's all I can eat! Check was about 15% less than a regular sushi place with comparable quality.“

“My server & host Jay set the mood the drinks were good I'd suggest the grape soju & the dumplings were fire 🔥 it was happy hour that was a combo well worth the meal, I'd also suggest the hamburger steak 😋 amazing atmosphere & kpop playing on the huge flat screen TVs 📺 definitely a 5 / 5 visit it was really good & I'll go back for another visit soon. “Went for the first time with me and my mom. We loved it here the moment we walked in. We ordered the shrimp deluxe bento box and the steak deluxe bento box. It was so amazing and the steak practically melting in your mouth. The staff was really nice and this place was a nice place to eat at, definitely coming back in the future when we’re in the area“

“We are so appreciative of the service received from the staff at Sakura tonight. We had family coming into town this evening and the flight was delayed so we had to move our reservation close to closing time. The staff was still very accommodating even though it was late and the food was good. Bubba was our chef and was very personable and entertaining!“
