“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.
The owners are the best of best. Always welcoming and friendly.“

“I have been coming to Brooklyn Bagel weekly for over a decade. They have hands down the best bagels in the region, and also the best employees (I call them my bagel heroes)! Even with the recent growth of other bagel spots in the region, Brooklyn Bagel remains the best. Absolutely worth the trip! Be prepared for lines on the weekend and bring cash to pay and tip to make the experience better for everyone.“

“The bagels here are very good and the service is so quick! There’s a large variety and they sell them by the bag as well. The ladies who work here are also very nice. The coffee is pretty good.
However, I’ve noticed that the person who handles the cash (it’s a cash-only store) is also the one who grabs the bagels. While she wears gloves, she uses the same pair for both touching cash and bagels. This doesn’t seem hygienic to me, especially since there are usually many customers. I thought it was a one-off thing, but recently I’ve noticed it happening every time I order a bagel. This alone has me questioning if I’ll keep going here.“

“Finally a place that has a fantastic bagels, got a 1/2 dozen and ate 2 by the time I got to my car! Crispy on the outside and soft in the interior! Had the pastrami sandwich and Turkey Reuben for lunch. Also a big plus, they had Brown’s Cel Ray soda!“

“This is the OG iconic location located a couple of blocks from M street. I popped in a on a busy Saturday and the line was to the door. I always get their iced matcha latte or one of the breakfast bagels. Sun city and Thunderbird and Royal palm are always a must order for me. Seating is limited here, but service is quick. I received my food and drink order less than 3 minutes after I ordered them. Popular tourist spot in the area and I would definitely stop by if you've never been inside or taken a picture outside.“
“Wow, service was way above the box coffee places and the bagels were awesome. I ordered Bacon, egg, & cheese on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel and a coffee. The bagel was so good I went back and got a second one for later as well as a fruit cup for on the run. Price was good for the what I got, but the service, they were phenomenal. While standing in line and then waiting for my divine food, the customers and staff knew each other and were having dialogue, imagine that, a friendly atmosphere.
Thank you to the crew, you all were awesome and helped make a nice day into a beautiful one.
If you can swing it, I highly recommend giving them a shot and if like my experience, you will not be disappointed.“

“Food was delicious, but that one bald cashier (Robert, I think?) was very unsettling to be around. Also, he was loudly racist about Asian culture (something, something, the Chinese relatives come out for the red envelopes when it's wedding time).
The owner was nice though. Please hire someone else, owner.“

“I really enjoyed my visit to Qargo Coffee Lafayette. The space feels modern, cozy, and perfect for working or just relaxing with a drink. The baristas were super friendly and made my latte just right. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but I think the atmosphere and quality make it worth it. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m downtown.“

“Not only are their bagels, dessert goods, etc. absolutely phenomenal, the decorations inside look great and they were quick and efficient when it came to having my sandwich/bagel made. They also found my wallet when I accidentally dropped it, and gave it back to me when I was searching for it several hours later.“
