“We just had a wonderful meal at Mylos. There were 6 of us and 2 children. We all had great meals and service was excellent. They accommodated our request to modify and make 2 of us lamb souvlaki and it was really good. Very nice cozy atmosphere.“

More of a takeout shop than a date night vibe, but it does have free WiFi! Please consider giving them your business, it’s so worth it“

“It is a great restaurant, high quality Greek food. They said my entrée, the lamb gyro, had double protein, but that was not true. It had way too much bread and fried potatoes. Quality of the squid, lamb, beans, and pasticitio was epic. Loved the salad too, but would have liked more Tzatziki. I had to ask for my water to be refilled a few times. Brining one of those bottles or carafes of water to the table that some restaurants do would be a better fit for the restaurant.“

“Stopped on our way to Jersey, and glad we did! Absolutely delicious! We got the platter to start and every dip you could tell was homemade. We also got the bowls with chicken and gyro meat and it was delicious. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the tzatziki was amazing as well.“

We had lamb shish kabob and trout stuffed with spinach and both were perfectly done. We ate on the patio at 8 pm and had no issues with mosquitoes mentioned in another review. The place was full and lively but not too loud and we had no wait. Just felt right in every sense. We ended up buying a house a few blocks away and expect to be regulars here.“

“Their signature thing The Gyro is spot on copious gyro meat balanced well with tomatoes, onions and tzatki. The side Greek Salad was tasty but heavy on the greens and a real Greek salad is cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, green peppers. I ordered way too much as the Gyro is a lot. Enjoy! Opa!!
PS Dolmades are cooked fresh when you order and are hot which was me to me, but also spot on. A really good side if you like Dolmades.“

There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Very consistent and affordable spot that used to take only cash and now takes card - which is nice. Some limited outside seating is available but this place is mainly a takeout location. Menu has all the standard breakfast items and they are available all day. The biscuits and gravy are basic but hit that homestyle taste for a bargain. I've never ventured outside of their breakfast food but I have no reason to doubt it's quality. If you need a quick and affordable breakfast/lunch this is your spot just south of DuPont Circle and by the Farragut Red Line Metro.“

“We got delivery. We tried all of the soups, and all were great!

We also got the Shish Kabob and Eggplant Parmesan. Both were ok, nothing special about either. The prices were very high so for the entrees so I expected better quality; however, .the portions were large.

We also got the Tiramisu and Cheesecake. Both were very good.“

Food came out quickly, was super fresh, and all three of us loved our meals. Got the Gyro myself. The meat was flavorful and the pita was perfect. The girls got breakfast pitas and loved them. Got the snack pack with the jalapeno humus too and it has the perfect kick. A really refreshing and authentic place to get away from all the American and Italian restaurants that line King.“
