“Thoroughly enjoyed the Alpine Goat Brewery's inaugural Oktobest event held on 14 September. The wide variety of flavorful brews, authentic German Oompah music, welcoming staff, ample and free parking, and gregarious patrons combined for a delightful experience. The venue is absolutely family friendly offering games and activities for children. The food trucks offered a variety of items including ice cream and shakes. I definitely will return!“

“Another great brewery/taproom in Harrisonburg. Restless Moons was recommended to me by a bartender at The Friendly Fermenter, and that was absolutely spot on. Nice selection of beers; if you stand at the bar, you also get a great view of their brewing kettles.
Friendly staff, nice beer garden out back. No pub food sold, but a patron told me that it might be possible to bring one's own snacks (have not confirmed this with staff though). Monday night is Movie Night IIRC. Would definitely return if I had the chance.“
“I love this place. I will drive by just to see if they're there. Hands down better than Klines by a mile. I always get the chocolate peanut butter milk shake. not overly sweet, great consistency and the owners are always really friendly. For a truck thats always in the center of down town, yall are sleeping on Branchs. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰“

“The beer is fantastic. They don’t have food, but there are lots of local options for that. The atmosphere is very laid back. The patio is great for people watching. The parking is ok, but the downtown area has lots of options. I will definitely be back again. I highly them.“

“I’ve watched the former shop before this coffee shop grow and also this coffee shop grow over time. The community in Harrisonburg would be nonexistent if this shop was not here. Very open space and friendly baristas. Amazing manager and extremely skilled at what they do.“
“Maybe the largest craft beer operation in town (my subjective feeling). All very nice and professional, with a good selection of beers and food. Nothing to complain about, just felt a little less cozy and familiar than the other craft beer taprooms, but that may have been a coincidental impression. I ended up visiting three times, so it must still have been quite alright ;)

“Really delicious! I got the Oreo mixed ice cream, sooooooo yummy! They only come in 1 size though and it was HUGE and unfortunately my bf doesn’t eat ice cream so most of it went to waste. I would suggest offering smaller sizes, but it was SO GOOD.“

“Emailed Trevor and asked about catering for my boyfriends birthday party. He was so accommodating and helpful from start to finish. The pulled pork was amazing!! We ordered the peach habanero sauce along with the Kansas City BBQ sauce. Both were a huge hit with our friends and family. I also ordered a tray of Macaroni and Cheese and Baked Beans along with a tray of Cole Slaw!! I had never tried any of their food but found them through a Google search I was super impressed with taste of the food and will definitely do catering with them again!!“

“My boyfriend and I were in town to celebrate 4th of July and we stumbled upon this gem. I'm vegetarian and loved that they have so many unique plant-based dishes. We loved the risotto, goat cheese balls and bread we ordered as appetizers. My sweet potato, tofu and artichoke bowl was yummy too even though the tofu could've used more flavor and tasted a bit bland. The server was wonderful and the entire venue is so unique and cozy.“

“I am leaving a 5 star review because Macados deserves that for what they are. I came for a good sandwich (the Annie Oakley) and a beer.
The sandwiches were amazing and the restaurant is very cool. Our server Jess was awesome as she made a suggestion for a beer my husband may like and she was spot on. Service was quick and we had a good time.
FYI - the chips are ruffles in a bag. I swapped this for a side salad.“
