“As I am writing this review I had to check to make sure this was the correct location. They definitely deserve better than a 3.5 rating! If anyone remembers they used to be here a couple years ago and then had a rebuild to what they are now.It wasn't very memorable then but NOW this is a well run establishment. Every employee is nice and I've never had to wait long for hot and fresh food. Even during busy hours I can only remember 1 instance my food wasn't correct and honestly it wasn't that big of a deal because it was a free 6 piece from my points and instead I recieved a 4. Lol I'm surely not going to complain about free food! The other time, my fiance ordered a large fry and it was a tad crunchy dry, they hopped on it so quick and fixed it! There's not many instances of them fixing problems as they usually get it right the first time! I haven't frequented another location in over a year!I don't know if management reads this but in the drive through, service inside, and pick up (as a dasher & customer) they really do make my life easier!I can't help but give them their props ? please keep up the excellent work and know it is super refreshing to see smiling faces. Thank You!I am truly happy for this edition in our area! Again, I can't possibly see why they'd have a score less than a 4.5 as they are really attentive and great at customer service!If you're super loyal to a different local location I'd take a chance and give this branch a try, it's worth it! ?Also, the rumor about the fries is true! The days of shoving fries down your face before they get cold are OVER. I find myself often dropping in to use my app and get any size fry for $1.19. I was surprised by the flavor and retention. They taste better and last longer than Wendy's who claims to have a new method for keeping their fries warm.(Brace yourself I'm getting ready to brag about thier tea ?)Also, thier sweet Tea TASTES like sweet tea. Yet another reason to give this location a try. It's not too sweet but you're definitely not wondering where the sugar is which leaves you with a pleasant drinking experience. What most branches don't realize is this gives customers the OPTION to request 1/2 sweet- 1/2 unsweet if they want a partially sweetened tea. This is how it used to taste back in the day when they (McD's in general) had Styrofoam cups. I haven't found a branch in the area who can rival with the way they make their tea!Oh yeah the cookies! There have been multiple occasions where I have ordered cookies and I was asked to pull into a drive through wait area. (If you are asked to do this, please DON'T get frustrated. Think of it like a fast food VIP ? ? You are likely going to be met with some of the Hottest fresh FOOD you can get here). Then after about 2 or 4 minutes a nice employee strolls out and informs me to be careful the cookies are hot and very soft ?. The last time I got them they were layed out on a big breakfast tray beautifully.As i write this I realize it sounds as if I am talking abot a fine dining establishment and promise I'm not making this up. They are just really good here and I ENJOY coming here not as a "I'm hungry and i just need food choice" , but as a "Hmmm let's get some fast food tonight and we pick here."It reminds me of when I was younger and McDonalds was a treat. Ok, I'm done ranting and raving.Just try it! Lol“

“Great flavor and good service! Would definitely recommend taking advantage of all the different toppings, since that’s where the real flavor comes from. Also don’t forget to ask for extra Shawarma sauce on the side!Service was attentive, and they definitely let customers customize their orders to get what they want. The down side with more options is it can take a little longer to get your food. “Absolutely 5-?place. Why? (1) They are genuinely hospitable and you will feel their positive vibes as soon as they start greeting you. (2) The place is very clean, well-maintained, and organized, with good distance between tables. I like their booths better?. (3) They serve authentic and VERY delicious Afghan dishes. Kabobs are soft and juicy. Shrimps are crazy delicious and soft (never chewy). Ghabeli-polow is the best! (4) Their quality of service and dishes are consistently great. (5) Their price is competitively low for such large portions.Highly recommended!“

“I ordered the 3 tenders and waffle and my son ordered the 4 piece wing and waffle plus mac and cheese, through Door Dash. Despite the chicken and waffle being room temperature upon delivery, the chicken was seasoned well, it was crispy, and juicy AND the waffle was good too! The side of sweet hot sauce was such a treat for the chicken and I enjoyed all of it. The show stopper though was the Mac and Cheese! It was piping hot in its container and it was SO GOOD! Looking forward to eating at the restaurant next time.“

“When I was hosting friends from out-of-state and wanted to impress them with a delicious array of food, I called Rawr. The sushi platters were a hit (fantastic 4 and out rawr) and so was everything else: gyoza, spicy miso Ramen, chicken teriyaki Don, pork katsu curry, and miso soup. Our friends loved it, and I was so thankful to Rawr for delivering an absolutely outstanding and impressive spread. Rawr is the best!“

Waffle fries were good but considering I was the only person in the restaurant, they were warm but not hot. Restaurant was freezing inside.“

I’ve waited to write this review for a whole year to make sure we didn’t have a fluke experience, or it wasn’t just good because it was a new place.This is easily the best Peruvian chicken place in the DMV. My wife and I have tried probably 15+ places, and this place is the best. 1) it’s always extremely clean. 2) the (assumed) owner is super nice. It’s always the same older gentlemen at the register with a goatee. 3) the food is ALWAYS fresh. We’ve came early, late, in between lunch and dinner hours, it doesn’t matter. Our fries and plantains are always piping hot, and the plantains are always cooked PERFECTLY. The chicken is always moist and tender. The chicken also tastes different and better here - it is marketed as charcoal chicken, and you can taste that. It has that “summer bbq cooked on a charcoal Webber grill” taste, unlike some other places that taste like a gas grill.I personally don’t care for the Peruvian style sauces, but my wife loves them. They offer the 3 selections, a yellow, orange, and green, with no spice to pretty spicy.Highly recommend!“

“Can't comment on Atmosphere since we only waited for Takeout. Time from ordering to getting our ToGo was about 15-20 minutes and as expected for getting 2 dozen wings! It's not a high menu, basically wings and select sandwiches. Definitely some of the best wings I've had down in this part of West Alexandria! “Very solid halal food! I tried the chicken and lamb over rice with salad. I got mild as the spice level and to me it was still pretty hot. The sauce helped with the spice though. I thought the meat was cooked okay but could have been served a little fresher like the lamb for instance. However this place was really good and I would order from here again!“

“A very good Subway location. The fixings are consistently fresh and the sandwiches well prepared. Sometimes they appear to be out of select items, like cheeses. But, on the whole this is a great location that we return to. I've been using the iPhone Subway app to order online. Sandwiches are ready when I arrive. I would probably be easier to substitute items out of stock with an in-person order, but for now I'll be using the phone app for its convenience.“

“This was my wife's and I first time trying Hangry Joes! This is also a brand new location in Alexandria / Annandale area off of Little River Turnpike and we have to say first impressions WE LOVED THE INSIDE of the restaurant it new, it live, it's interesting and even put some of our favorite DC skyline in there too! This is a new building in the area and it was easy to get to and into the parking lot too! Getting your order in is easy as the have two digital kiosk's to place your order with an easy to navigate digital menu, they accept all forms of payment from Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, CC and debit cards. We were able to navigate the while menu and place our order in about 5-6 minutes since it was our first time we think that was great! Now the food first impressions IT SMELLS AMAZING! Like fresh fried chicken and the spices are WOW top it off with a lot of flavor. My wife and I got the 24 piece with in mild and lemon pepper, funnel fries, fries and fried okra! This was a great combination of flavors and WOW the mild has a lot of zing to it! Nice and spicy and IT CAN GET HOTTER they have a lot of levels of spice to offer from ghost pepper, habanero, hot and even down to just a bell pepper level hot. It is definitely a wide choice of flavors! The funnel fries are WOW just like funnel cake! Delicious and crispy for sure the season fries and fried okra is a great compliment to the chicken and they even give a little bit of sauces to go with the chicken DEFINITELY use the sauce to cover the chicken it is worth it! “The burgers are better than most places however they put tons of mayonnaise or cream sauce on them which they left on even when I asked for sauces on the side. At a later time I asked for no mayonnaise, ketchup mustard on the side, and they put the ketchup/mustard on the burgers themselves. They put too much sauce- and the mustard appeared to be Dijon mustard or another type of mustard which really didn't go well with the burger. The gyro here is decent but it is stuffed with too many veggies or things besides the traditional lettuce, tomato, and onion. The gyro meat is a lot greasier than most gyro places so I am wondering if they fry it or add some oils to it- most places have the rotating cone for gyro meat but they might be making it differently here. The burger patties are fairly thin but you do get a double patty burger.“

“Was in Springfield today and wanted to grab something different for dinner. I’m happy that I stopped Village chicken. If you’ve never been here I would definitely stop and give it a try. “Yall. I came in here on a rainy day in a particularly bummed mood about life in general. My kids and I looked homeless as we’ve been bed bound the last few days because of health concerns. Andre, Whitney j, ta'livia and Jenny legitimately made me cry in this car. They made my family the best sandwiches, asked me every step of the way was my sandwich being prepared the way I liked. Treated me and my homeless looking kids with the best customer service I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 37 years of life. I don’t make it a habit to have me or my kids hug “strangers” but these folk are now family. My son has autism and won’t eat much, but he’ll eat a sub from Jersey mikes. I can tell you one thing, I’ll never visit another Jersey Mikes as long as these employees are at this one. I cannot say enough good things. “Very flavorful food! I order from them at least once or twice a month. Their restaurants are much cleaner than some other Kabob places. Only negative thing about Moby Dick House of Kabob is they don't have chickpeas and spinach like most kabob restaurants do, which is strange because they are all famous side dishes. For that reason, I frequent other kabob restaurants because my kids like those aforementioned side dishes.“

“Been here twice now. Ordered chicken sandwich both times. First time was right after they opened and was subpar. Chicken was fatty and sandwich soggy. Second time was 10x better! Crispy, nice meaty chicken breast and perfect amount of sauce. Very happy! Definitely worth giving it a try.A bit expensive as it is $15 for a combo but portion sizes are very large and you won’t be hungry after.I always get the Hot level of spice which is just enough for me to feel and make my lips tingle. That being said, I love spicy foods and basically drink habanero sauce. Next time I will try the Extreme heat.“
