Hardee's receives mixed reviews regarding its food and service. Some customers report excellent experiences, praising cheerful and polite staff, speedy service, and specific meals like the bacon and egg and cheese biscuit and the mushroom Swiss burger, calling them the best. Hash browns are also noted as great. However, other reviews complain of significant inconsistencies. Burgers, including the Monster Burger, are sometimes reported to be dry, with thinner patties, or served cold with hard bread. Service can be very slow and inattentive, even when the restaurant is not busy, with staff ignoring customers. Experiences with phone service are also negative, with long holds.
