“Good Afternoon,
I drove here from Virginia Beach to do an errand and stopped to get a bite to eat. I ordered my food via the Popeye’s app, completed my errand, and went in to get my food. When I first walked in, I was very impressed about how clean the restaurant was and the peaceful atmosphere on a Friday afternoon. I went to the counter to get my food and I was greeted the same way as if I was ordering in person. The young lady at the counter greeted me, gave me my food, gave me my cup and showed me where the drink fountain was. Because of the clean restaurant and pleasant reception, I stayed and ate my food. My food was hot, fresh, and the biscuits were soft and delightful. Everything was so good, I ordered a little more to go. “There is no Popeyes close to home so when in Newport News we visit here. It's nicer than the one on Warwick Blvd and the staff is wonderful and kind. Food is very good. I only had one sandwich I didn't care for, but otherwise very good. The beans and rice are tasty and filling for someone looking to go meat free. On our trip there was one unstable man walking around looking under cars and arguing with people driving by. The location is near a local service office so that may be why. Otherwise great experience.“
