“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.”

“This is my 3rd time here. I get the grilled salmon salad and add grilled shrimp.
Fresh greens,tomatoes,red onions and cucumber topped with a generous portion of perfectly grilled salmon and shrimp.
Must try!!”

“The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! I am a picky eater and found plenty of things to add to make my bowl delicious and filling. The staff helped with recommendations on combinations and sauces for each individual that was in our party. Highly recommend this family friendly environment❤️”

“This is not really an eat in restaurant, I think before Covid they may have done more dining inside. But I almost always get Chinese food to go, And the food is excellent, service is quick and friendly, the cost is a bit more than some of the other local chinese restaurants but worth the extra cost,”

“My husband and I went for his birthday. It was a Sunday at 7pm and the place was empty. We got 3 rolls of sushi and they were good. Service was great our waitress was very attentive. The only downside we had was the music. For a Rock & Roll place I was extremely disappointed that they played Kid Rock. Besides that terrible music choice everything else was great and we will be going back.”

“This place is a hidden gem! A beautiful little cafe tucked away! It’s a small place run by very nice people, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and quaint! I had the chicken pesto with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella! Best pesto I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. Their coffee is splendid as well! Really worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“I was craving papusas and so glad I stopped in. I got my food to go, their rice and beans were delicious! The papusas were the star of the show but I did love the carne asada tacos. My son also got French fries 🤣❤ everything was delicious. Fast and friendly service, great prices.”

“My go to Chinese restaurant. I will drive to the mall just to get their food. Food is always fresh and tasty. Not oily, salty and overcooked. Definitely a steal for the price.”

“I was looking for someone to make a butterscotch pie for my father-in-law for his birthday. It's something his mother would always do, but sadly she passed away this year. The idea came to me basically last minute, and I had about a week or so to search around and see if it would even be possible. I reached out to Micá and she responded within a day saying she would love to! Besides her being so sweet and accommodating on such short notice, she even delivered the pie to me! My father-in-law said the pie was the best part of his birthday. Thank you so much again Micá, I will definitely be reaching out again!”

“The fish is amazing its a huge portion and the flavor is great i didnt like the greens or cornbread the flavors were off but the beans over white rice are always good”

“Best sushi in Richmond. I only get the simple and classic rolls but Hibachi Sushi and Grill's sushi is so much better than any other place I have gone. Their sushi just melts in your mouth. There is a sweetness to the rice with the sesame seeds that is like no where else. I always get take out and have never eaten in. It is a small seating area and is more of a carry out than sit-down restaurant.”

“not only are the subs great but I had a truly special experience there today. ordered my sandwich and and asked if they had coffee. he said " sorry we dont but Dunkin' Donuts right across the street has good coffee". I said thanks I'm in a hurry to get to the Nursing Home to see my Mom. While I was waiting on my sandwich this young man ran across the street and came back with a cup of coffee for me. I was so moved by this sweet gesture. His name is Bubba and I hope he sees this and knows how wonderful he is!!!”
