“I was looking for someone to make a butterscotch pie for my father-in-law for his birthday. It's something his mother would always do, but sadly she passed away this year. The idea came to me basically last minute, and I had about a week or so to search around and see if it would even be possible. I reached out to Micá and she responded within a day saying she would love to! Besides her being so sweet and accommodating on such short notice, she even delivered the pie to me! “i LOVE minglewood bake shop so much. it's my favorite coffee shop in RVA. the atmosphere is very loving & accepting. the pastries & coffee are to die for! they have gluten-free options as well, which is amazing as someone with celiac disease. all staff is so friendly & welcoming. they have cute stickers & accessories here too. overall great environment, vibe, & food! everything is also vegan, which is super cool! they even have a microwave that's solely used for vegan foods only. a lot of cool stuff here & they always have something yummy & new to try. i have never had a bad experience here & i've been going often since 2023! pricing is also so good, you get great portions & high quality for what you pay.“
