“As a new vegan, I’ve really struggled to find good vegan desserts, and this has been really hard as someone with a massive sweet tooth. I’m so glad I found Minglewood because their desserts are amazing! They don’t have that alternative oil taste that a lot of other vegan pastries have. Honestly I probably wouldn’t have been able to tell that their products are plant based if you didn’t tell me! The shop is also very welcoming and cute. Absolutely love it!“

“I was told these were the best biscuits in the world. Early Bird did not disappoint. I’m from out of state, just visiting.

I got their “biscuit of the day”, which was topped with bacon and a sweet maple glaze. It was heavenly. Ate the whole thing without a sip of my coffee. It was so buttery-soft and moist. 10/10 would recommend. Total was like $8, great deal.

George made the pie on Sunday morning and drove to the West End to deliver the pie to me that afternoon. It was still WARM! Everyone at the party LOVED the pie. It was the best apple pie I have ever had! He used three different types of apples and they were wonderful. The crust was unbelievable! I ordered the "monstrous butter crust" topping and it was amazing. I would definitely order from Poor Georgie's Bake Shoppe again. Fantastic customer service!“
