“As far as sushi places go, this one is a keeper. It's a small storefront, so the dining room can feel a little cramped when it's full on a Saturday, but it wasn't loud. The host is very gracious and the service was delivered well. Food was good, edamame was fresh and hot, combo #8 was almost enough for two, plus a couple extra sashimi. The mackerel was perfect. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth checking out.“
“I've been dying for Japanese food with quality and I am so lucky to have found Nami. I cannot fully express how amazing their food is the atmosphere and the staff are! I am excited and happy with each visit and if it's even possible to say I always leave happier and with a satisfied stomach.Vegetarian options: As traditional Japanese cuisine they have plenty of veggie options that don't use any type of animal well as other dishes“
“I LOVE this place! I am a regular. The staff is so great. The woman that greets me up front is always so friendly and attentive. The food is good and it comes out fast. The lunch prices are great! You get a lot of food for a small price! I get in and out. I highly recommend the lunch bentos- I get the veggie tempura and my daughter the chicken katsu! Highly recommend!“
“The taste of the food is spectacular. The cuts of sashimi are of excellent quality. The salmon in particular is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. My wife and I split the fried calamari appetizer which came over a small bed of crispy noodles with some small chili pieces and a dipping sauce. The calamari was perfectly cooked, excellently crispy and tasted great. The only negatives are nitpicky and not enough to give less than a 5* review, but I will list them just in case it helps others.- Octopus Salad - the flavor of the octopus was great, but there wasn't nearly enough of it. The bowl was, no exaggeration, 6 slivers of octopus each approximately the size of a nickel, and approximately 50 pieces of cucumber, served in a tasty seasoned vinaigrette. When I mentioned that there was hardly any octopus and that it was basically a bowl of cucumber, they brought more octopus over at no extra charge. They were friendly about it and it isn't worth mentioning, other than hopefully the ratio of octopus/cucumber improves in the future.- Table height - I am 6'0 tall (not incredibly tall by any means). The table was short enough that it was slightly uncomfortable, and I found myself having to lean down to rest my forearms on the table. As someone with lower back pain, that was a negative worth noting, and comfort is the only thing that would make me hesitant to come back.- Table size - The table itself was also surprisingly narrow. For perspective, putting my elbows on the table meant that each elbow was on the edge of the table with no room. This was slightly inconvenient, as we had 2 appetizers to share, 2 drinks each (water and a cocktail), a large plate of sushi/sashimi, dishes for soy sauce/wasabi and plates for the appetizers. In a restaurant where dishes are often shared among tablemates, a larger surface area would be appreciated.“
“I have been coming here for years. My husband and I love to do this as a date frequently! We each order a Sumo Attack and start with the rock and roll shrimp. It’s a ton of food so make sure you are hungry. The chef chooses the cuts of fish and it’s never a let down (for true sushi lovers!) I think my sister even had her 21st bday party here!“
“The food here is pretty good and offers a good selection of a bunch of different asian foods. Their bubble tea is especially good. Also have a really cute outdoor section if you want to eat your food outside! Pretty cheap as well which is nice. Been here a couple times and definitely plan to comeback in the future.“
“I recently dined at LEVEL Restaurant & Bar, and it exceeded all my expectations. This establishment truly stands out with its remarkable blend of delectable cuisine, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance. Visiting during lunchtime, we ordered shrimp tempura rolls, Philly rolls, Singapore noodles with chicken, and the lunch salmon hibachi bento box, which was accompanied by a flavorful miso soup and a refreshing salad with ginger dressing. Surprisingly, even items I typically overlook, such as the soup and salad, proved to be exceptional. Our waitress was incredibly hospitable and attentive throughout the meal. Moreover, the Asian red sangria served here was simply divine. Despite any initial reservations one might have based on the exterior appearance, the interior of the restaurant is stunning, particularly the dynamic display of colorful lights at the bar. I wholeheartedly give LEVEL Restaurant & Bar a perfect score of 10 and enthusiastically recommend it. Without a doubt, this establishment has earned its place as my new favorite spot for sushi in Richmond, VA.“
“I order or sit at Miyabi almost every week. Everything I have ever ordered always tastes and looks amazing in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly and I love how they remember my face now, so whenever I come in they bring me my food instantly when it’s ready. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for quality sushi, hibachi and etc.“
“My favorite sushi place, have been many times over the years it’s been there, we go whenever we’re in Carytown. Sushi is always fresh and tasty, ramen is good, teriyaki is delicious, quick service and food made fast, though last time I went it was one waitress taking care of everything, gotta hire more people if you want the place to run smoothly and fast!“
“We were here a couple of weeks ago for a late Saturday night dinner and has the utmost privilege of having Hope as our waiter. She's the absolute sweetest and very friendly. I hope they're treating her right there. The food was fresh and the portions were appropriate for the price. My only complaint is that they have a rule if one person at the table gets the all you can eat sushi, then everyone else at the table has to get it as well. Other than that, this is a great restaurant for the Willow Lawn strip and I will definitely be back.“
“I've been a long time customer of this place! They've come to personally l knowing me! I've always given good word! Always reliable! Food is amazing. Great quality. Restaurant is very clean and tidy. It is a smaller restaurant, so if you come with the group, I would call in advance. And when they get busy, they get busy!! Cheaper than sushi places in old town Petersburg , but the quality surpasses the price! They have other things other than sushi based on the teriyaki and hibachi dishes! I love their fried mochi !“
“We tried the teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp. The chicken was the most flavorful; however, the other two were still delicious. We watched them cook all our food fresh and service was great. They also give you large portions. If you like teriyaki flavor and rice, you'll love this place. They also have sides and deserts, but unfortunately we didn't try any of those. We'll be back for sure.“
“We had the entire restaurant to ourselves for a little and the customer service was great!!! Even after some customers came in, our customer service was still good. The margarita was delicious and we loved the giant single ice cube in it. The sushi rolls were on the small side, but happy hour price Maki rolls are not bad. The restaurant is well decorated and has cute vibe inside. It was an easy stroll from the canal walk to the restaurant. Food was good. Not the best best taste and quality of Thai food that we have had. 5 for service and atmosphere“
“First, this is not "standard"Asian food. This is hibachi cooking, they are a little different menu than "regular Chinese"restaurant food. With that in mind everything else was great, large portions, but some items are not standard, you have to order them in addition to.Fried rice is not a routine item, but my experience says everything was great.Large shrimp, fresh veggies, fair prices.Need I say more? Some will disagree with my feelings, but that's how food and restaurants are.We don't always agree, but once you try it,you will come back, sooner before later.Try them, you will not be disappointed ?????“
“Food was awesome service was as well .I don't want to sound cheep because I'm not with my tips but the menu says 18% gradituity included when you get the bill it was for 79.99 so gave them card then they brought it back and I put 10 more on it didn't pay attention got outside and looked they had first charged me 65.00 so they got almost 30 in tip the way they rang it up“
“I had an absolute blast here. If you love sushi this is a must try. With the all you can eat approach you can be adventurous and try all sorts of sushi, ordering in rolls or individual pieces to try whatever you want. Since everything is prepared to order they avoid the all you can eat buffet pitfalls or sushi sitting around all day uneaten. Our server was pretty quick to take new orders so we almost always had sushi coming or going. We didn't delve into the entrees but the sushi was flavorful and fresh and ran the whole gamut from traditional pieces to Americanized favorites and even unusual combinations that you might never have seen before (be sure to try the Crazy Monkey!).I kept photos of the menu on my phone and marked off items as I ate, marking my favorites for future reference. I'll be back to keep working my way through the whole range of options!“
“Cheap, affordable sushi and meals. The sushi isn't the highest grade, but you're getting a bargain for what you're paying, and I've never had a bad experience with either the food quality or the staff. I definitely recommend the combination bowls!Parking: Plenty of open and free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair and handicapped accessable.“
“Good location. Simple decor. And easily accessible kiosk for ordering while the owners cook away in the kitchen that is open to viewing. Food is cooked just right, the sauce gives all the food elements a great flavor profile. I may like this more than Teriyaki Madness.“
“One of my fav go to spots to grab something quick and cooked. Its mainly carryout and the parking in the area can be a little scarce at times. The food is tasty & portion size reasonable. Only complaint is the salmon size, as its sliced very thin.“
“Located inside the Veil Brewery. There are not a lot of options but unique items. Got some Udon Noodles and Kimchi fries. My buddy got the Korean fried chicken. You make your order and get a buzzer. Not cheap. The food was really tasty. Order at the bar. Lunch drink options, not alcohol are limited. The place is massive. Lots of seating areas. Few Tv's throughout. Very cool vibe, neon light, and rather out of place stuffed animals. They're cool, though, especially the bear and Zebra. Would come back for lunch again.“
“This place was a pleasant surprise! We're not hugely impressed by most Chesterfield Asian food restaurants, but the price was fair for the portion, the food was satisfying (though I think some things that are vegetarian are still cooked with oils used for meats, solely based on the taste of our fried rice) and the sushi was actually very good! The hibachi box combos I personally enjoyed though my wife was less impressed (as a vegetarian). I personally would be happy to go again soon!“
