The Bar is huge with a great selection. We ordered the pork rind nachos.. oh Yum. They came out crackling and popping with pulled pork and spicy jalapeños and cheese sauce. My Dinner was their Crab cakes - deliciousness light and fluffy and oh the Brussel sprouts with the pork belly were Great! The wife had a short rib appetizer for her dinner and it was fall apart yummy. Her Mac and cheese was great too - it was the heaviest Mac n cheese I have ever had. The our son got the Shrimp and Grits. He said they were great and the grits were really cheesy too. Thank you for a great dining experience! We shall return when we are down this way again.“

“Lil bro brought me here when I was visiting him in Richmond. A nice spot with a plethora of toast and breakfast sandwiches options. I also appreciate that there is tea, match and chai for the none coffee drinkers. The staff is great and the music selections are on point. I also like that there are local artists and self-care small businesses that sell their products in the store.“

“Nice brewery! Had two beers while here; a Czech style and Italian style Pilsner. Both were enjoyable for their style with the Czech style being the better of the two. The one downsize is the Czech style came out a smidge warm; first time here so I’ll give them a pass since the Italian style was the proper temp. Also ordered a double smash burger and fries. Burger was definitely charred but that didn’t take away my enjoyment of it, and the fries were great with a quality seasoning. Nice mojo and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back for hopefully a colder Czech style Pilsner.“

We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Richbrau and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were SO friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and made sure we were well taken care of all night. We rented out the whole brewery - highly recommend, it was affordable and so fun to have the whole place to ourselves. The vibe inside is fantastic, and we were lucky with great weather to be able to open the big front doors so it was a lovely indoor/outdoor situation. Kiddos loved the board and table games and watching the trains roll by from out front. The beer was great as usual and the food was delicious - we love the pizza here!!! Enjoyed the apps, too. All I want for my birthday is some of the delicious pub grub from The Cask Cafe, and a growler or two of selections from the world’s (and Richmond’s) greatest brews. Unfortunately, this will be via touch-free curbside pickup. I’d much rather sit at the bar and chat about the role of diacetyl in English pub bitters, or the varieties of Bohemian or Moravian hops available in commercial Czech lagers...but not this year. The cask is Richmond’s best bar for real beer afficionados, IMHO. DAN MOUER“

I get it, it's the liquor license. We found a wall shared by both properties. Beer on one side of the wall, vodka on the other. And, yes. We were told we couldn't sit together. Awkward. Ok if your companions agree to one type of alcahol. Know this before you arrive. Awkward.“

“Ninja Kombucha has some of the best quality kombucha's I've had to date - They're not too harsh yet extremely effective!! I've had the pleasure of trying 2 other products of theirs as well, the Fleur Thieves Herbal Elixir and their new Apple Cider Vinegar!! The Herbal Elixir was very potent and I loved that they recommend to add extra honey to the bottle as you use it to increase the sweetness. It helped me beat the winter flu in no time with no lingering coughing or sniffles - I truly believe this product was the reason for that - thank you Ninja!!!

Their new Apple Cider Vinegar is a DREAM!!! I went to their stand at RVA Big Market a few weeks ago and happened to notice this new product on the table! I spoke with Brett about how upset I was that the staple BRAGG brand was recently sold so finding this local alternative that is ethically sourced and produced was GOLD!! I notice that the flavor is crip and fresher compared to other ACV's I've had as well. I've thoroughly enjoyed the versatility of their products especially the ACV - I can't wait to finish my jar to come back for more!!“
