I’m always in the mood for all-day breakfast items when I’m on a work trip, so I tried the pork sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough toast, and a delicious latte. Food and coffee were outstanding. It’s obvious the staff puts care in the prep of every sandwich. The toast was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch, eggs were lightly seasoned with pepper before whisking, and the cheese was nice and “melty”. Get your order “for here” , and Chill to the beats of new and old school jams while you enjoy this little local gem.“

“Found this gem while looking for a brewery that was open early on a Sunday, and had food. Mostly indoor seating, but it's a lovely space looking into the brewery. Staff was excellent in explaining the brewery history, the beers and the food. We ordered all the apps and enjoyed them all. Then we got a little creative and ordered the chicken strips to tear up and put on their mushroom pizza, as they don't offer additional proteins or toppings. Both were excellent. Only downfall was parking, but we did see something down the alley that may have been for the brewery.“

“Lees is definitely enough to put the all three much popular chains like Popeyes,KFC and Church's to deep shame.Bojangles well that's definitely stiff competition because they're no joke either lol but there's something more authentic and more homely about Lee's.Their chicken taste like the fried chicken your mom makes in a batch and then bring it to church for lunch after service.Their chicken taste taste is fully seasoned,crispy and juicy,biscuits taste like they're from scratch.Nothing ashy and hard enough for me to play frisbee with.The service from the workers are so professional and cheery and love the cleanliness of the place.The mac and cheese in my opinion need a little more work,it kind of taste like box macaroni,they need to change up the recipe but other than that Lee's is always my go to place whenever i'm down in Richmond Va.“

All I want for my birthday is some of the delicious pub grub from The Cask Cafe, and a growler or two of selections from the world’s (and Richmond’s) greatest brews. Unfortunately, this will be via touch-free curbside pickup. I’d much rather sit at the bar and chat about the role of diacetyl in English pub bitters, or the varieties of Bohemian or Moravian hops available in commercial Czech lagers...but not this year. “Waygone is my favorite brewery in the west end. I’m always greeted by name with a smile when I walk in and feel welcomed. This is also a go-to for my husband and I if we are getting together with friends who have kids. They have lots of toys and a side room area for playing. My favorite drinks are Bluey and the rosé wine. I also love playing darts. My dad (who can be picky about beer) lives down the road and now comes in here weekly too to pick up to-go cans. 10/10 spot!“

“Ninja is an incredibly unique and incredibly great tasting kombucha. I’ve lived many places in Virginia, and this is the best one I’ve had. I even prefer it over Health Ade, Forage, Rowdy Mermaid and Dr. Brew (I’ve tried a bunch). The owner pays particular attention to the formulation, making it so much better than those others I’ve tried. With many unique flavors in its line, I highly recommend!“
