“Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

“I have been twice now and both times the food was great. The view is outside is gorgeous btw. Now as for the food the menu is a variety of dishes themed from different parts of the world. It honestly doesn’t matter what you get it’s going to be delicious. If it’s on the menu when you go I highly recommend the Georgian flatbread, the bao buns, the chorreadas, or the cachapas!“

“We had a private dinner served to us by the 2 partners of Tulsi. They came to Vinnie and Rebecca’s beautiful yard and gave us a cooking experience we will all never forget. They cooked up some speciality meals that were perfect. Chicken, fresh vegetables from the gardens, very spicy mushrooms and of course nam . Everything was perfect! “My pop came through town about two weeks ago. He said he wanted to grab lunch. I work nearby, and knew he loves a good burger. I was concerned because my mother (who loves cooking, loves learning new recipes, but has her classics and go-to’s, makes his burgers) would never hear the end of it, if the meal was awesome. Well. I was right. So my mom and my pops came to town and wanted to have dinner, with me and my partner. After politely asking us recommendations and subtly dodging each place my partner and I mentioned. My mom asks, “Where did you take Daddy for lunch?” We ended up hanging out and chatting while the staff started to close up. Great food. Every time. Great fast friendly service. Every time. I’m not usually a downtown Richmond person—city crowds just aren’t my thing—but I’m really glad he suggested this spot. I made the drive from King William, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was fantastic, and the laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect place to reconnect. I had the pork carnitas with a Caesar side salad—super flavorful, and the pork was incredibly tender. The Caesar dressing? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d love to know if it was homemade or store-bought, because I need it in my life! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed and cool meeting spot. I’m already planning to explore more RIC gems soon!“

“We sat at the bar with server and bartender, Austin. He made our entire experience truly outstanding. Beautiful restaurant with beautiful people working there. Everyone was courteous, kind and friendly. The food was exceptional, especially the chestnut bisque, I would come in for by itself. I ordered the catch of the day, which came with mussels. After a past experience with having a bad mussel at another restaurant, I was both leery and reluctant to try them. The beautiful server with dark hair and glasses reassured me, they were fresh and I would not have any problems. She was correct, the dish with rockfish was outstanding. Now, back to Austin. He was such a great guy, funny, engaging, and absolutely everything. I highly recommend L'Opossum and make your reservation for the bar. You'll have an opportunity to interact with the entire staff at some point. They all will take very good care of you. Bon Appetit!“

My husband had the brisket sandwich which he said was fantastic. I had the trainwrek that was so large and outstanding I couldn’t finish it and have leftovers. “What's not to love about Stir Crazy? It's the ideal coffee shop. Nice, friendly neighborhood sort of place on MacArthur, very popular with all ages and for good reasons. The best thing about the place is the staff, they are just the greatest, every single one of them. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm a retired old fogey and I go there a lot; I am very comfortable there.“
