Lots of food trucks and some lines for food were long. Might want to nring you osn drinks as selections at food yrucks were limited. Perfect fall colors! Farmers Market too!“

“Great lagers, great beer in general. The guys behind this operation seem to know their beer. The taproom has plenty of space, is fairly clean and the service was top notch. We asked if we could start out and try a flight, but that wasn't available here. Our waiter did his best and brought us several of the styles in the smallest pours that Selvedge offers. We liked everything we tried. My favorite was something called Pro-Seam, Please 14⁰ Tmavé Pivo, which was a wonderful tasting dark Czech Lager. We will stop by again the next time we are in town and try more of the various styles of beer.“

“It has a great and welcoming atmosphere. It is very student friendly with WiFi available for customers and is also not too loud. The drinks itself are very creative with a Wide variety of choices, my favorite one would be the brown sugar boba. Definitely give them a try!!“

“We *love* Guajiros! Particularly their breakfasts. Staff is perfectly friendly and helpful. The art is fun and the food is FANTASTIC! I loved the breakfast tacos until I got the breakfast bowl. Now, I can't seem to order anything else. The new outdoor patio is great! The indoor is nicely decorated with a " Miami, Florida " feel. But the noise dury busy hours is harsh for sound sensitive people like myself. Otherwise, it's our new family favorite. ❤️“

“Wonderful experience! Hubby and I visited the tasting room for Valentine's Day. We shared the Reserve flight and Valentine's Wine & Chocolate flight. We took home bottles of four of the eight wines in the flights. The food, corn chowder and a crimini mushroom flatbread, was excellent too. It's all cooked to order & served at the table. Very attentive service. Beautiful setting with sweeping views. I'm so happy that we chose it to celebrate Valentine's Day. It'll be easy to persuade hubby to take me again for my birthday in the summer.“

“A truly hidden gem! We were visiting from DC and was looking for some Asian food. Found this place on Google and decided to try it. Wasn’t expecting much for an Asian food restaurant in a small town but it ended up to be top 5 Thai restaurants I have ever had.

The green curry was very tasty and at the right level of spicy. (most Thai restaurants didn’t cook food spicy enough even though it says two pepper spicy or more)

The clay pot was so great and was not something you’d find in any Thai restaurant.

Pineapple fried rice and pad see wee also were very solid. Also highly recommend the lychee iced tea - not too sweet and very flavorful.

My only complaint is the beef was a bit chewy which is often the case in most Thai restaurants.

“We LOVE Potter's! I discovered their ciders when I lived in Virginia Beach and I was SO happy when I realized we were moving near the cidery in Charlottesville. Their ciders are really varied, with lots of different flavors and fun combinations. We are particular fans of the petite cider - it's crisp and dry and we find ourselves reaching for it all the time at home. We also really loved the strawberry ginger, and they had one recently that was like a pet nat. I love that all the ciders are fresh and dry and not super sweet. They don't feel heavy or syrupy at all, like some others do.

Anyway - I could go on forever. But, the place is super cute. It's in an old renovated church up on a hill. There's tons of parking and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a great variety of snacks and some food (sandwiches and such). We try to get over there when we can, but we've always got a pack (or 3) of their ciders at our house.

“Came with the family this past weekend. It was both nostalgic and sentimental for us as we grew up coming to the vineyard as kids.
As we grew up and moved away for college and later our careers, it’s been many years since we’ve been back. Lots of great memories and now we are finally old enough to be able to enjoy the wine with the adults haha!

“We had an amazing experience with Red Hub Catering. They provided our cocktail hour food, reception buffet, cutting cake, bartending service, and Sunday brunch. The food and service were impeccable. For bartending service, Red Hub provided the bar set up and mixers, but allowed us to provide our own alcohol which is uncommon among catering vendors. Red Hub generated a custom menu for our reception that consisted of a nacho bar for cocktail hour followed by a taco buffet for dinner. They also baked a beautiful cutting cake and delivered brunch to the lodge we were at the following morning for everyone to enjoy. Overall an incredible vendor who expertly provided us multiple wedding services.“

“It was our first time having lunch at Boylan Heights with the family, and we really enjoyed it. We loved the open-air atmosphere — it was so nice to enjoy a meal while feeling the breeze and watching a basketball game on TV.

The kids were especially excited to see a train go by — that was a fun and unexpected highlight for them!

One small thing: The vegetarian burger I had that day was a bit dry and harder than what I’ve had elsewhere. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s usually served, but it didn’t affect our overall great experience.

“Had a great tasting experience at Michael Shaps. We came with our friends from Charlottesville, who were members of their club.
We did the deluxe tasting, which covered the majority of their offerings. All the wines were delicious, and our server was friendly and informative.
The winery itself is beautiful, plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the wines. There is even a Tesla charging station if you need a charge while you are touring.
Definitely make Michael Shaps a priority for your next wine tour!“

“All-in-all 5 stars. Great atmosphere, solid food, and really great experiences. Not only have I dined and watched movies a bunch but I've also worked here for a while years ago so I know the operations behind the scenes. Kitchen is clean, staff is well trained, and people REALLY care about the mission. That being said, no place is perfect and there are a few things I could complain about. I get movie theater pricing because theaters make next to nothing on ticket costs alone. However, I think some better priced apps and drinks would be great and also you should be able to get free refills on popcorn no matter where you get it from whether it be at your seat or at glass half full. Change some of those rules please because if I'm buying a popcorn for $10 I better be able to eat it no matter where I am on the premises. Also, get your growler license and offer togo cocktails. It's legal now. Otherwise, this is a great place and the events are SO FUN!!!“

The hotel is a little older, but it’s in a great location, the staff was responsive when I called for help regarding linen and an issue with the shades. What I really wanted to compliment on was one of the front desk attendants. I believe his name might have been Rome? Regardless, he was incredibly friendly and very professional. Gave great recommendations when I told him I was new to the area. Really made lasting impression on my stay there.“

An awesome guy helped me get my daughter a gift card for their store through PayPal. Yes I'm not a tech savvy mom but he helped me and it worked out great!
