“Favorite restaurant in the dmv! Service is always top of the line as well as the food. The kids menu is awesome too!! You can find the most delicious flourless waffle here for dessert.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with multiple options instead of only a burger or chicken nuggets.“
“We go to 2941 for many of our special celebrations and we are never disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, and the sommeliers are incredible (really, ask them anything about any of the wines). We both had the chef's tasting with the wine pairing and were perfectly satiated at the end. The portions are on-point. We told our waiter the occasion we were celebrating and anyone who visited our table expressed congratulations and brought an extra special complimentary dessert at the end. We had a 7:00 reservation and arrived a bit early so we were able to watch the ducks come back to the pond as the gloaming fell and it was kinda magical. We'll definitely be back.“
“Lazy Dog is our go-to spot for when me and my coworkers get off. Not only is it close and convenient for us, it has given off the local vibe based off how we are treated. We are bar people here and will never not be thanks to Katie. She’s the sweetest and most attentive bartender (other than myself ;-)) and credit is very much deserved. Hats off to you my dear!“
“As I’d expect, this GAR didn’t disappoint. We got appetizers and the warm bread! We had soups and salads w the bread pudding to share.Bartenders made me a great gin and tonic, w the correct amount of limes — which is A LOT!Our server was sheer perfection. Very attentive and was there at any point we needed anything, which we didn’t bc he took care of everything for us.Only thing I wished it was a bit quieter. Hard to talk/hear across a large table.“
“Great overall experience! Sean made our experience even better by serving perfect drinks and laughter. Food was amazing and we will be back. Thanks Sean for staying on top of our orders and taking the time to make sure we enjoyed our time there.“
“Straight up. If you want EXCELLENT, well priced food. This place is amazing ?. Seriously, when I say food. Everything I have had is delicious. I wish this place would be on a TV show for the best hidden restaurant in Northern Virginia. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are god like with taste.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.“
“Really good steak. I went to this location multiple times and I'm a big fan of the Great America restaurants and this time they were actually amazing. It was unfortunate that I couldn't get their prime rib but their beer aged ribeye on that particular day was superb. I also enjoyed the asian tweaked calamari but it would be nice to have the classic option.“
“We tried going to a similar resturant that had a 45 minute wait. One call to Artie's to ask if they had a wait and they immediately asked when I'd be there (15 min) and my name. We have a one year old, who was hungry so this was wonderful!!! You could tell although they are busy everyone was happy and having a good time. The waiter Jad was great! Jad could tell our little one was was hungry and brought her meal out first. He also got us fresh ozies which were delicious! He was very friendly and attentive. Our order was all correct and delicious. Our one year old loved the mashed potatoes and her mood changed after she ate her meal. As a mom with a hungry baby, getting seated and served quickly was a god send! Thank you to everyone at Arties for a great meal.“
“My group of 4 had a wonderful dinner here!] Everyone got something different and everything tasted amazing! The rolls, beer marinated steak, ozzies chicken and everything else tasted great! Our server Ellie was beautiful and awesome! Definitely will return.“
“Food was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful. Waitstaff was very busy but managed their tables fairly well. The food delivery was not as professional though; we were asked to “pass the plates” to the correct recipient even though there was room for that staff to maneuver to the person and place the plate in front of them. Tables are crowded together and although we made a reservation for a celebration and asked for a table location out of the main traffic, we were pushed to one of the most heavily trafficked spots, near the entrance to the bathroom, to the bar etc. We requested a change and were accommodated at a table but it was frustrating to see 2 women seated at a booth designed for 4 persons, that could have accommodated my party more appropriately. I wondered if our reservation request had even been considered. All in all, it's the food that will bring me back to give dining here another try.“
“Where are the tips??? I'm referring to the filet mignon sirloin tips over creamy pasta! Twice this month I've gone early to attempt to enjoy this delectable dish. Last night I planned to get there by 11:15 to ensure I have a chance. I prayed this morning, showered, dressed and headed out on this beautiful Sunday. Alisa (sp) took care of us quickly. I wasted no time ordering Tex mex egg rolls, Ozzie rolls, 2 sirloin tips with a smile. Then she hit me with the terrible news at 11:22am "sorry, we don't have those today!" I grabbed my imaginary pearls and heart while slumping over in disappointment. I was speechless while my friend giggled as she knew that I was truly crushed! Alisa had to give us a moment to regroup and select something else. I debated for a second of leaving to head to Coastal Flats in case they had the "tips". I stayed and ordered the short smoked salmon filet, with mash potatoes and broccolini. My friend ordered the baby back ribs. The food arrived hot and fresh but I noticed there was no broccolini but asparagus instead. Apparently this week hasn't been a good week with certain items. However I tasted the baby back ribs and let me say they were beyond delicious! Who ever prepared those, cooked with love! My dish was tasty as well but I really want the tips! Can I get the tips??? Repeat after me "where are the tips?, where are the tips?" Ok I'm done! Sweetwater is consistently delicious but I need the tips!“
“I had a very delicious plate of oysters and delicious cauliflower. The wine selection is great and the prices are reasonable. Very romantic lakeside view and insanely convenient for those coming or going from Dulles airport. Cannot recommend enough!!“
“Came here for restaurant week with my 9 year old son who is a foodie and we both enjoyed all of the courses. Our server, Will, was friendly and attentive. Everything we tasted was so good.Kid-friendliness: Will was really great with my 9 year old son. He wowed my son with a Shirley temple made with its own house made grenadine.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was my first visit so we tried several appetizers before our entrées. The most unique starter was the fried deviled eggs, which were good (though I personally would prefer that the crispy bacon garnish was not candied - it would be better more savor and less sweet). Even though they were very busy, service was fantastic! Our server was pleasant and very attentive to our needs. The only negative was that the place was exceptionally LOUD. We went to support a high school fundraiser and will definitely be back.“
“Joe’s Cafe is a local hole in the wall restaurant that serves awesome breakfast and lunch options. The vibes are awesome and love that the horrible cell service forces you to interact with people in person. The servers are super personable and they always take good care of you. The price point is also super reasonable. Be ready to have a wait if you go during peak brunch hours on the weekend.“
“Idlywood is a favorite spot for dinner. The service is excellent, with a good selection of wines and an atmosphere that permits conversation at normal speaking levels. We tried a couple of new dishes as well as a favorite appetizer (shrimp ajo) and salmon Caesar. We haven't been disappointed in any of the salmon selections. The branzino is also a favorite. The chicken parmesan, a new item , was especially good. Highly recommended.“
“Was here for a business dinner on a trip to Virginia. This is a very nice restaurant and had a great time at this place.Tried couple of of their appetizers and ate their Steak for dinner.Steak was amazing was cooked to perfection based on my order.Very nice fine dining experience and would definitely recommend it for special occasions.“
“Linda was my server when I came to Silver Diner and I believe it was her first day but she was so sweet and she told us that she was new, she made sure to repeat our order back to us. She made sure that she included everything we asked for and she was checking up on us every time we seem like we done with a plate or we wanted to get something else or refill. She was so kind and so sweet.“
“We had the pleasure of having Gledys helping us as our waitress. She is smart, super kind and pleasant and extremely attentive. She made our experience extra special and enjoyable.Food was on time and delicious.Thank you Gledys.Parking: Fine“
“We’ve been wanting to check out some more of the restaurants in Old Town Fairfax. The Wine House did not disappoint! I had the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. The tenderloin was wrapped in an olive tapenade and prosciutto. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the Dark Chocolate Terrine with espresso cream and toasted hazelnuts. It was decadent and wonderful. Of course the wine selection was great. Looking forward to going back again.“
“Very accommodating for my allergy - I came in today with a large party and a restrictive dietary request. I'm currently breastfeeding an infant that has a milk protein allergy, so I cannot consume any type of dairy including butter. The manager ended up coming to our table and talking me through a number of modifications that I could do to accommodate the allergy. I really appreciated him taking the time as I was being a bit picky in my choice. Ended up with a great meal. Thanks againDietary restrictions: Dairy allergy - I would say a majority of the items contain some sort of dairy, but the manager was patient in talking me through the modifications possible. Ended up with the chicken sandwich with gluten free bun and no cheese. He also mentioned they would cook it separately“
“Great food and service. Lotta breakfast dishes around $16, but portions are huge, and splitting them between 2 people is enough (but leave a larger tip.(the only downside is FOX news on large tvs. :( please consider putting sports or something instead).“
“Always a neighborhood gem. Good food, charming service, fun vibe. The Bazin family continues to thrive in Vienna. It is also so nice to see staff appreciated. While I was waiting, chocolate chip cookies were being distributed to the hosts working hard on a Saturday night.“
“A wonderful diner. Plenty of free parking. Tabletop jukeboxes (that work!), excellent service, and a variety of high quality meals ranging from traditional diner fare to organic vegetarian meals.Everything we had (a breakfast spread) was perfectly prepared. The kids meals were generous and inexpensive. Would highly recommend, especially for families looking for a hearty meal fixed fast and served in a clean, roomy environment. Great coffee too...Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu for every meal.“
“The food was a mix of excellent to slightly lack luster (crab balls, shrimp and chicken Alfredo) . Drinks were good and oysters were great. We enjoyed our dinner very much. I would recommend this for a nice dinner out without the hassle of parking or crowds. The seafood was fresh and delicious and the waitress was attentive and good.“
“I’ve never heard of this place until today and glad I came. My friends and I tried their burger and it was probably one of the most flavorful burgers I’ve had. Presentation looks like a simple burger but the taste is outstanding. They nailed the beef done medium, their house sauce is balanced, and their bun was great. Their fries were also very crisp and done right. I ordered another burger to-go since it was so good. I’ll be coming back to try the other things on their menu. The owners were also very kind which made the overall experience a good one.“
“We tried Harth last night and are glad we did. It's in the lobby of the McLean Hilton so it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking. It was not very busy on a Friday night, unlike every other restaurant in Tysons which are overrun with guests. My guess is it's because few people are aware of its existence....and that's what makes it nice (I prefer peace and quiet to crowds when dining). It's a great spot for a date night. The ambiance is wonderful, the service is top notch, the food presentation is stellar, and it was all very tasteful..no need for salt/pepper/condiments. Even the chairs are super comfortable (which is great for my bad back).I think Harth is lovely. We will be back!“
“The restaurant was very crowded and I was fasting and breaking my fast there. They sat me in a quiet place away from the noise and the staff was very nice. The food is delicious and good, and it is worth visiting and trying American food from its original source“
“I’m a huge foodie and this was the best food that I’ve ever tried in my life. My girlfriend is vegan and feels the exact same way as me about the entire meal. We loved the food so much and the service was phenomenal. We tried things we never would have normally at any other restaurant and we were shocked at how they changed our attitudes to new foods. The cocktails were equally as impressive as the food and service and deserve recognition as well.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.“
“Fabulous experience! My husband and I came here for our anniversary date night, and Rahel(our server) as well as the manager that night treated us like royalty. The food is exquisite, ambiance is dim, romantic, and a complete vibe. We happened to be dressed up while most other patrons were very casual. This will be our new go to spot for dinner, snacks, watching a game or just hanging with friends. Thank you for a great dinner!“
“We have been coming to Sweetwater for many years. The consistently great service, food and ambiance has never changed. Sweetwater is always at the top of my list when I want a great meal and I enthusiastically recommend it to all my family and friends.“
“Absolutely loved Hangry Burger! The #5 Livid Lamb with fresh ingredients and halloumi cheese was perfection, especially with the tzatziki. My wife, usually picky, devoured the #4 Cranky Chicken. The strawberry milkshake paired perfectly with our meals. Fries could improve, but still a 5-star experience!“
“I have been to Harvey’s several times and the food and service have always been outstanding. Particular favorites are fried green tomatoes, salmon salad, and fish and chips. All employees are very friendly and professional. However, the noise level is intolerable, so I will think twice about going again. If I can’t hear my dining companions while they are seated next to me or across from me, that diminishes the purpose of enjoying a meal out with friends. I hope that Harvey’s addresses this issue to make the acoustics so diners can fully enjoy the experience and visit with each other instead of having to raise voices, repeat comments, and read lips.“
“They've got good food here, and I haven't been disappointed with anything except the calamari, which was a bit too salty. My personal recommendations are the london broil, chicken scallopini, and shrimp scampi. Service is really nice. It's a great place to go dancing with friends.“
“I went to jimmy’s and the have open mic night on Wednesday night. I also go to there open mic and they have the guy David run the sign up sheet. There’s always new people singing and performing songs. I like to preform songs that I write during the day and I use a electric guitar. It’s really fun and singing is the best.“
“I’ve lived in Herndon for 4 years and was not aware this diner existed. It’s by happenstance we discovered it after a long bike ride, by googling “breakfast near me “.Thanks to Steve we were able to secure our bicycles. He offered to put them in storage while we dined at the diner.I ordered the Mediterranean omelette and it was very delicious. This is now one of my new favorite breakfast spots.“
“Alex (Bartender) and Chico (Boss applesauce) were absolutely amazing. Superior knowledge of the menu, and very conscious with allergies. Absolutely amazing experience from front to back. If you’re shopping at Wegmans and tired of how hard your week was, you better come here or you’re “
“In the area visiting and came across this place. Fantastic find. Food was good, pleasantly surprised to find they had a great selection of gluten free options. Great drink menu. Our server was wonderful. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Has good options for gluten free.“
“This restaurant is extremely clean, and the food is amazing! I loved the atmosphere as well. The serving size is very big and our order was ready within 10 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for halal italian in the DMV area.“
“I’ve been coming here for 5+ years. Great hole in the wall bar with a lot of personality. They have their billiards league nights and it can get hard to get onto table but their great service more than makes up for that. Their food is great and bulgogi is my go to.“
“This place is amazing! We were so fortunate to have found Hamrocks! It’s in a lovely historic house, has its own parking, a robust menu with delicious specials and wines. However, the best part was the ample gluten free options that were celiac safe. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and made sure I could eat safely! Thank you Hamrocks for providing delicious gluten free food that everyone enjoys even if not gluten free! It’s been over a year since I’ve had fried chicken after being diagnosed with celiacs and this was sooo good!Vegetarian options: Mostly pasta options for vegetarians for main dishes but also salads soups and sidesDietary restrictions: Gluten free clearly marked and lots of options!“
“*Drink Review Only*A friend and I decided to get some afternoon drinks and lunge for a bit, so Trummer's was our pick. Having been here before, for both their amazing drinks and food, I was surprised I forgot to give this one a review. The Drinks: I went with the "Titanic" and the "Pain & Pleasure" for my drinks. The Titanic is the special cocktail which has a incredible flavors that hit just right. The alcohol was mixed very well as it wasn't over bearing at all. The Pain & Pleasure would have to be my favorite though. The nice and fruity flavor with a slight kick to keep your pallet in check is just perfect. The Service: Service was great! The staff here are all so friendly and welcoming. Water refills were on point and frequent check ups were done as well. The Atmosphere: Two floors, a lively bar downstairs and a very nice and elegant upstairs dining area. The vibes are relaxed and would 100% make a good date spot. Dim lights with an open/spacious elegant dining area calls for a nice intimate night out.Overall, a 5/5! Everything about Trummer's is amazing. From the ambience to the food/drinks, you can't go wrong with this place. Highly recommend visiting Trummer's if you get the chance.“
“I always rely on True Food for its delicious yet healthy food options. We just had lunch there and loved the ambiance - the combination of wood tones and greenery created a relaxing and comfortable feel. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, and our server provided attentive and speedy service. Our food arrived within minutes of placing our order. The food was exceptional, especially the edamame dumplings appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs. The True Blue Grass-Fed Burger was also a great choice. The Peruvian pepper sauce added a pleasant kick to the burger, while the caramelized onions provided a sweet contrast to the blue cheese. The Korean Noodle Bowl was similar to Japchae, made with sweet potato noodles and veggies. However, it had a subtle citrusy flavor with garlic. Our drinks, Kale Aid with Greek yogurt and Bright Eyes, were both healthy and delicious. Their vibrant colors made them a feast for the eyes.I'm looking forward to revisiting True Food soon to try some of their other tasty and healthy options.“
“Open Road is our family’s go to for every occasion. After church brunch, dinner out with friends, happy hour. The food is incredible and atmosphere is best in the area. Thank you, Open Road! The experience never disappoints!Kid-friendliness: Free unlimited popcorn as soon as you sit down!“
“I came into the use the restroom and to not be a user I tried to purchase a root beer the two girls at the counter at 10:00 at night were simply amazing they actually gave me the root beer for free they were smiley courteous I can't speak for the food yet but I am definitely going back there to try the food because the service and how personal and how special those girls were it's just amazing how congenial no wonder the place is always busy I'm going back for sure“
“First time visiting. Food was amazing and the menu had a large variety from scallops, lamb, beef, etc. Great selection of wine and beer. We went on Saturday night to hear a local musician, the sound was great and the ambience was perfect. We will be back!“
“Excellent selection of IPA's, Lagers, Stouts, and Sours.. Service was excellent and bartenders love to converse with the customers.. They have a lot of canned / bottled beers, ciders and wines to take home as well.. Price is a bit steep though for larger pours and growlers are insanely expensive..“
“You better get there early because after 5 o’clock on a weekend the line is out the door. Very lively atmosphere food very solid. And at one point I just looked at them in the back kitchen and mused how exhausted they might be at the end of the night. Fun place good times great service.“
“Just moved here and stopped by Sully’s on recommendation. They were great! The two bartenders were super friendly and willing to give out advice on where to go locally. The food and drinks were good and all the other patrons were nice. They have a lot of events weekly, so it seems like a good place to get plugged in socially.“
“Awesome. The guy Bob there is incredible. His passion for food, service and the restaurant industry really makes a big difference and is contagious to say the least. He is about that action and the quality reflects the level of love and care put in. Contagious is a tough word to use in a food review but never had any reason to question cleanliness, was always beyond expectations in every way.(Famous Bobs!)“
