I could not decide what to get to take home for our family, so got way too much food for four people. Every meal, appetizer, and desert was delicious. we had the lamb shank meal, the New York Sirloin entree, Moussaka, Imam Baildi, lamb gyros, Greek salad, homemade potato chips (best ever), pita and hummus sampler, and more. Deserts were the lemon cake, apricot baklava, sour cherry baklava. Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. Their Turkish bagels are a real treat, and for those who like sweet coffee so is theTurkish coffee. Go early in the day for take out pastries as by lunchtime they are often sold out. We just had lunch there and loved the ambiance - the combination of wood tones and greenery created a relaxing and comfortable feel. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, and our server provided attentive and speedy service. Our food arrived within minutes of placing our order.The food was exceptional, especially the edamame dumplings appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs. The True Blue Grass-Fed Burger was also a great choice. The Peruvian pepper sauce added a pleasant kick to the burger, while the caramelized onions provided a sweet contrast to the blue cheese. The Korean Noodle Bowl was similar to Japchae, made with sweet potato noodles and veggies. However, it had a subtle citrusy flavor with garlic. Our drinks, Kale Aid with Greek yogurt and Bright Eyes, were both healthy and delicious. The parking is cramped but they've managed to open up a few more spaces and they've made great use of the historic building inside. The food is still outstanding, however, the gentleman at the counter is off putting in his manner and it makes it hard to feel welcome. I hope it improves.“

I ordered 48 hours in advance and it was waiting for me, when I arrived. The birthday decorations were lovely. The store is clean and well organized. I loved the way it was decorated. We met with Chef Dennis for our tasting before the wedding and he was kind, professional and hilarious - he made the experience so fun! “We had a girls brunch at this place a few weeks ago. This place gets packed quickly, even on a weekday. But they do have an upstairs section and an outdoors section as well. Parking is tight, but valet is only $5. The service is ok. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Not super friendly, but polite. This place is expensive but a super cute cafe to hang out or Matt up with friends. We ordered the following: - Margarita Pizza: each slice is quite big and thick. We hot 2 slices, and just shared one. - Avocado Toast: this was delicious. It comes with egg, but we got it without egg. - The Rustic Gathering Board: this is $49 and is a massive charcuterie board. We got the vegetarian one, but they have with meat as well. Order this if you have a group to share. The coffee and chai were delicious. Overall, I loved the ambiance and cafe feel of this place. I had no experience with any caterers in that area, and had never even been to the venue at which our workshop would be taking place. Contacting Sinplicity Catering was a VERY lucky break for me.Working with Lisa Anthony made everything so easy. She was very communicative and helped me navigate through ever-changing headcounts and dietary restrictions, made suggestions based on our budget, and was an all-around superstar.When we found out at the last minute that delivery drivers needed special clearance to access the space to set up, she was able to get us all the information we needed fast enough to ensure the background checks went through seamlessly.Our delivery folks, Herberth and Andy, were prompt and set everything up quickly and quietly and never disturbed the event going on in the same room. They were really delightful guys.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, especially given the level of service we had. Everyone loved the food and were spotted taking the fun array of afternoon snacks with them to sub in for the boring airplane snacks they were sure to get on the way home.We ordered the Hearty Breakfast buffet with coffee, tea, and juices; then for lunch the Hickory House Hot Duo buffet with some vegan and vegetarian options; then for the afternoon, a selection of snacks including trail mix snack bags (with cute, custom M&Ms!), sinchex (homemade chex mix), and lots of their Taterdoodles cookies.
