“Everything was great during our visit! The service was excellent, my dish was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful.
The only small downside - which doesn’t affect my 5-star review - was the wait time. It took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive.
Still, I definitely recommend this place!“

“I love this restaurant. Everything about it from the service to the environment and especially the delicious food is incredible. It helps to either have reservations or selecting a time that isn’t as busy because it’s so popular. My family and I have been eating there for over a year and been back many times. We love the bada bing shrimp for our appetizer. And my favorite personal entrée is the spicy seafood. Here’s a picture of it with a wide ribbon noodle maybeI weither tagliatelle or papardele. Just incredible. Homemade fresh pasta. Five stars out of five for sure.“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“Decided to try mae ornnit with my sister based on the strong reviews they have. Our server provided excellent, attentive service from start to finish. Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.“

“I am a fan of unagi (eel), so when a friend recommended Taiko Sushi I had to start with their unagi domburi (eel over sushi rice).

It is simply the best unagi domburi I have ever had in the DC area.

It was $30, but the portion size was generous and it came with several small sides such as Japanese pickles and seaweed salad. I'm glad I didn't buy an appetizer, or I wouldn't have been able to eat it all.“

The service was quick and efficient. The calamari was perfectly fried, crispy and delicious, and the pho was outstanding. “Well... you could not finish my 1/2 chicken with a side salad and yuka. This means that the portions are pretty good size. The food was delicious and the service was fast. For 1/2 chicken and Malanesa de polls we paid $32 (no drinks). They offered water cups and we took them. The white sauce is mayo like, the green is spicy (you have been warned). I would recommend to friends.“

From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. I absolutely love butter chicken, and after ordering from a horrible place last night I decided to call before I ordered from a new place (I really wanted butter chicken this weekend) the person who answered the phone was super nice and understanding, and kept her promise. “The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. I know what to expect so I’m always satisfied with my food from the fresh baked daily bread to the variety of Vietnamese classic soups such as pho, bun bo hue, and bun rieu 😋 10/10 highly recommend and bring a friend!“

“Our first time here, we are astounded!! Kid got the bulgogi bowl and loved it. The charred cabbage was an amazing treat. I got the Sando and it is HUGE. House sauce was so good, you can definitely tell the coleslaw is homemade. Wife got the chicken wrap and the veggies were fresh with three huge tenders inside. Fries are basic frozen ones, but they are hot and crisp and way better cooked than most places. We ended up taking at least half of everything home! Place is super clean, staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed salt and BBQ sauce for the fries. We are most definitely coming back to try more!“
