“We put in an order for pick up and we were really happy with our order. Food was tasty. Perfect for when you have a craving. We got the Mongolian beef and lo mein and crab wontons. All of it was fresh. My only critic would be I wish the Mongolian beef was a little spicer but we just added siracha. Over all great spot ??“

“I’ve had so much sushi over the years, but this place absolutely lives up to its reputation as the best sushi in town! The fish is incredibly fresh – and professionals are creating the dishes. The presentation of each dish is like a work of art. I highly recommend the Wonton soup (bursting with flavor), Godzilla & Volcano roll. The servers here are one of a kind. I come often so they know me and my children and are always happy to serve us. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or trying it for the first time, this spot is a must-visit. I crave their sushi weekly and it has become my treat that I know will satisfied all my cravings.“

“This is my fourth time ordering. Each time has been delicious. I was so disappointed when my favorite Chinese restaurant changed owners and I just couldn’t find a new one I LOVED.. this Stir Fry has been amazing each time and tonight blew me away. It was incredible. Hot, fresh and delicious. 10/10 satisfied with my meal tonight.“

“I was craving General Tso Chicken for 2 months & I'm in this area temporarily. This fulfilled the craving.
My transparent rating is 7 out of 10, but that still gets a 5 star.
My husband got the pepper steak & onion rice. He would have liked his steak cooked a lil longer, but that's an easy fix for next time we order.
My daughter got the sesame chicken. She enjoyed it.
Their eggrolls were very good! Eggroll were 9/10
Thank you!“

“I love the food here! I call in my order and pick it up. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. I have tried numerous other Chinese takeouts in the area and the food here tastes the best. Also, they are usually $1 less per meal than most others.“

“This is my Chinese fast food staple. They are always fast, delicious and affordable. I’ve been going here for years. Hampton is not known for
their Chinese food with their, but I like this one the best. My order is usually egg foo young, chicken wings, general tso and a few egg rolls. The shrimp fried rice is also good with plenty of shrimp“

“I've been going there for years. I typically only buy Beef and Broccoli, Garlic Chicken, or Hot and Spicy Chicken. The veggies are always cooked well (aren't overcooked or old and wilted), and the sauce isn't light and not thick, oily, and gravy like. This is my favorite strip mall Chinese food place out of them all in the Hampton Roads area, and I've eaten at dozens over the decades....I also seen negative comments about the lady behind the counter. While she's not talkative and hospitable, she's not rude, unpleasant, or unprofessional in my experience and watching her interactions with others. She takes your order and hands it to you just without all the extra fakeness that some want and need while at restaurants. She's never given me a reason to think I'll of her.Prices are respectable, and have only gone up $2 +/- from their pre Covid pricing. That's not bad especially when taking into consideration that the cost of food, supplies, utilities, rent, and other overhead cost has risen substantially!
Parking: Depending on the time of day, parking can be limited; however, there's usually a place to park.“

“I ordered a family meal. The general tso chicken was very good, enjoyed the heat and it wasn’t overly salty. I liked that there was a choice of rice! The hibachi was delicious, vegetables fresh, crisp and the meat tender. The chicken soba noodles were excellent with a nice ratio of meat and noodles but a little salty. The last item in the family meal was egg rolls. They were crispy but not a fan of the mushy inside. That won’t stop me from ordering their food again. I’m a fan!“

“When all the Chinese restaurants closed because of ignorant people claiming that Chinese were the cause of Covid19, and did not want to eat their food. I promised that the first Chinese restaurant I could find open I was going to get myself some Chinese food. Well they were the only one open. I was more than happy to order from Super China. The food is always good. The service is good as well. I have never ordered anything that wasn't up to par.“

“The place could use some spick and span. The customer service could use a little more work. The customer service was not bad and it's not good. You will see what I'm talking about once you visit. Anyway, I ordered the vegetables with garlic sauce and it was delicious with soy sauce. The vegetable egg roll was good(I usually do not like eggrolls). One thing I like about the guy who prepared my food was that he put a napkin at the bottom of the eggroll bag so the eggroll would not be so greasy. I also ordered the general tos. This general tos is different from what I'm used to because this one is very sweet. I've never known the general tos to be sweet and this is overly sweet. He over did it. I'm not a fan of foods that are too sweet. His general tso tastes more like honey chicken. It tasted like he put the whole bag of sugar in there. So What I did was add soy sauce and it made it a little better from the little bit of soy sauce I had. Don't get me wrong, the general tso wasn't bad it's just that I don't like food that's way too sweet. I know younger people would like it because they like sweet foods like that. I would definitely return to this place and recommend it. I just would not return for the general tso.“

“•This no doubt be an old school restaurant, but, it's uniqueness in food is far beyond the norm - has been for years. •No hard to chew food (like No. 1 kitchen's General So's Chicken), (etc.) just very good flavor. •I hope that the people in this restaurant never leave. •The cooks got the skills!! •It's a shame that they can not expand productivity when they get really busy, but, it's worth the wait!!“

“Wow! Best 40 bucks I spent! So I'm not a fan of Chinese food but my husband insisted so I got the chicken teriyaki which were succulent and savory. But my husband got the orange flavored chicken. Nothing flavored about it! It is infused with delicious, tender orange rinds. Actual rind from an orange that are bursting with orange aroma and zest! Truly the most amazing orange chicken we've ever had! Then the sweet and sour chicken was perfectly fried. The inside pastry was over taken by the moist chicken, the lovely textures danced in your mouth. It was a splendid snack eaten fresh. Beautiful cuisine! I can't remember what else we ordered....the chicken is simply amazing.“

“My dinner was great! It was fresh and ready when I arrived. I ordered Shrimp and Broccoli and my daughter ordered Chicken Lomein.. The flavor was good and the young lady working there was very nice. “We go here about once a month, primarily because they’re the only buffet in town. They used to put $3 off coupons in the Val Pak, but stopped recently for whatever reason. While the food is good, it’s predictable (they pretty much always have the same items) and if you show up before dinner you’re typically getting older food that’s sat there since lunchtime. Also their prices have gone up considerably since we started going, almost double what we used to pay. There’s a large seafood selection which is mostly unappealing to me, and I love seafood, I just don’t care for crawfish, stuffed crab or mussels. There’s been better buffets in town but sadly they’re all gone now. So, if you’re going, go during lunch or after 5, maybe steer clear of the seafood, and don’t get your hopes up that this will be your new favorite spot.“

“Close to the hotel we stayed at. Standard Chinese menu. The wonton soup was tasty. I liked the eggrolls. The sesame chicken was good. The beef lo mein was good also. A few tables for eating in the restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken had small pieces of chicken but the chicken that was in it was really good. The lady that took our order was friendly. They do offer a small military discount which is much appreciated. The fried rice was just okay. The prices were really good.“

“Food was fast, hot, and delicious. I got the sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken lunch specials, which came with the option of white or fried rice and large egg rolls. It was about $20. Portions are very generous, they last multiple meals. The person who took my order was kind. I look forward to coming here again!“

“First time here! My usual place is closed on tuesdays so I decided to try this place! I would NEVER look inside and stop here based on looks alone. I also waited over 45 minute after the given wait time sitting in there which made it worse sitting there looking around?. THE FOOD WAS WORTH IT. Oh my gosh. Every single item was still piping hot when I got home, the flavor was ACTUALLY THERE AND WAS AMAZING, the portion sizes were huge, and it was so fresh. Best crab Rangoon I’ve had in Virginia Beach.“

“Had the most incredible chinese food of my life here! I wasn't expecting much for takeout but boy was I surprised. Although the interior could use some redecorating, it's evident that they focus on the quality of their food. It was filling but light on the stomach. Everything was hot and fresh. And it was the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory - I couldn’t stop eating and I can't wait to eat here again! Thank you ☆“

“My family has been going here since the 90's. Beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, chicken teriyaki appetizer, sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls are fantastic. Haven't tried much else on the menu, but never had a bad experience with my favorites. Better than the P.F. Chang's restaurant I tried a few weeks ago. And way cheaper.“

“There is something spectacular here and I hate that this spot isn’t getting more recognition.I knew by the dumplings (fried and steamed) that this place was my precious. It’s always clean in there, the fridge ISN’T sticky , the bathroom doesn’t have the toilet paper or extra sodas stocked in it?. Their kitchen is literally an open Kitchen. You can see the entire thing!!! That might be a little on the petty side, but some arguments petty or not must be outlined. It’s clean and clutter free.Reasonable prices here, across the street from where Save a lot on kecoughtan used to be. This is a great place. You do have the option to sit inside and eat, I have several times, but that’s all on a comfort level. I highly recommend No.1 kitchen. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Really nice DoorDash experience - (1.) Each dish I ordered was delicious. (2.) Temperature was phenomenal. Cozy warm comfort food instead of that weirdly uncomfortable zone of "not technically cold but every bite makes you stop and wonder if you should get up and put it in the microwave." (3.) Portion sizes met or exceeded what I expected just from passively absorbing the material on the menu. No fine print no gotchas. Entree was a standard size, lo mein came in one of those red and white boxes, soup came in one of those big plastic take out canisters the size of a ball canning jar, appetizer specified in the title exactly how many you would get. (4.) My price per person entry is definitely one of the higher ones, but I did intentionally get a lot so I would have convenient leftovers for a few days.“

“By far the best Chinese food in Poquoson. This is your typical no frills Chinese restaurant, not really a place to sit down but great for some reasonably priced takeout. I'm pretty set in my menu selections, so I recommend the fried rice and lo mein. I especially love the chicken fried rice, it's just fantastic. Overall, a good joint with good flavor and value.“
