“I love my local Starbucks. The renovations they did make the place more open and inviting. I have always had wonderful service here. Once my breakfast sandwich wasn’t heated through and when I called they refunded my Starbucks account. Always will get an hello and a have a nice day from those behind the counter. Also the decor is beautiful unlike the Starbucks in Cascades that chose to place giant divisive flags on their walls. No politics or social divisiveness at the CountrySide Starbucks, it’s wonderful. Plus they have a drive through.“

“Went here with some friends- it was one of their favorite cafes, and I could tell why- we shared our different coffee drinks, and they were all very tasty. The breakfast bagels were really good, they had some spices or herbs with the egg or something that gave it a nice je ne sais quoi. It was kind of sweet but a really unique egg bagel sandwich.
We went on a weekend morning and it was hopping! There was just enough seating to fit everyone in there, but I could see it getting tight if it was any busier.
I love that you can bring your own mug, and the staff was very friendly. Good vibes all around.“

House special bacon egg and cheese on a croissant is my most ordered breakfast. This place has nice aesthetics and it’s always busy on a weekend. “After visiting several bike shops in the Loudoun/Fairfax Co area, The Bike Lane Reston provided the best vibe and customer experience, hands down. Adam Reel and Ben (I think I was Ben's first customer on his first day on the job!) were fantastic - they took time on a typically busy but rainy Sunday to patiently educate me on different types of bikes, sizing/fitting, and getting me on the RIGHT bike with NO pressure or up-sell. In the end, I fell in love with and purchased the Trek Checkpoint ALR 4 in Lavender Haze, kitted out for touring. Adam worked diligently in arriving at a very fair price and was also gracious in sharing his considerable knowledge, experience and advice for riding the type of trails that I aspire toward, such as the C&O/GAP. Of note, another Trek dealership closer to home offered to match the price for the same bike, but the stellar service I received from Adam won me over. Well done to Adam and Ben and the entire Bike Lane team!
UPDATE: 8/04/25: Just returned from the C&O Canal trail. The bike totally crushed the ride - even the hilly gravel between Purcellville and Brunswick. So pleased with this purchase!“

“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“I love Sweet Leaf Vienna! I recently ordered a large order for a work lunch and everyone was happy with their food. Lots of delicious and healthy choices, including salads, sandwiches, and grain bowls- something for everyone. Their frozen yogurt and fruit smoothies hit the spot on a hot day. All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. In addition, I wanted to give a special shout out to Nicki who is a ray of sunshine and always goes the extra mile to ensure that customers are taken care of. “This place has a funky vibe to it with fun pieces of decor. It has limited seating and plenty of parking. The restrooms are super fun and themed. The coffee was definitely not the best or worst Ive had it’s kind of in the middle. It was sweet, tasted watery and strong at the same time which was confusing. The flavor also didn’t match what I ordered but it had my name on it. I had their breakfast bowl which hit the spot, however their baked goods looked amazing.“

Today, I had the chance to visit a newly revamped café in town. The café has been taken over by a new owner and officially reopened today with an entirely fresh concept. Don’t be misled by old reviews—this place is now completely different!

As soon as you step in, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is bright, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The menu offers amazing cakes, all freshly made and absolutely delicious. But the highlight for me was their **original Ethiopian coffee**. The aroma and taste are simply extraordinary, offering a truly unique coffee experience.

“Starbucks is always a reliable stop, and I have a few favorites I order regularly—iced Matcha Latte and the iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso never disappoint. This season, I’ve really been enjoying their Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, both perfectly cozy and flavorful.
The only downside is that they no longer have the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato on the menu. It was such a great drink, and I know many people miss it. Hopefully Starbucks will bring it back one day. Until then, their seasonal lineup still makes it worth the visit.“

“This was actually my second visit in two years to this particular branch and I must say that I was impressed with how consistent the staff service and quality has been on both trips. The team was welcoming and friendly and the coffee was great! I prefer espressos and I find that Peet’s espressos are superior to other coffee chains. It was a refreshing break at Peet’s on the way to a long drive and I’m glad I stopped by again.

“This place is absolutely phenomenal. It’s a great place to go and meet people let alone buy some fine pastries and sit down and have a conversation with somebody that you don’t even know. I come here quite often. Just sit down and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a Boba tea. I need a fine pastry. I end up leaving with 50+ dollars or more in pastries either for my family or friends and family at work each and every time I come in this place it’s absolutely amazing. The service is beyond the people that come to this place are awesome. I’ve never ever in the last few years that I’ve been going to this place had a bad experience every each, and every time that I come into this place is amazing.“
