“I am quite literally at CAFEIN almost every day. I am a regular at Chantilly location. My partner is a regular at Centreville location. Most workers know both of us separately. I want to start off by saying CAFEIN has hands down the BEST coffee in all of DMV. Nothing compares. I can tell when a business is using CAFEIN beans. That’s how good and unique and high quality it is, there is a reason I’m there every day, and MOST workers are sweet, kind, and amazing. Truly. Every interaction has been nothing short of top tier customer service EXCEPT for one singular person who has repeatedly been rude. At this point CAFEIN needs to step in and discuss this persons behavior and if they want to be associated and represented in this way.

I think this person is a manager at the Chantilly location. She is an Asian female, and unfortunately she has made a terrible reputation for herself as being the rude worker here, trust me she’s known for that for anybody who goes to This location. Firstly I don’t understand the 3pm closing time, but second if a business says 3pm closing time, that doesn’t mean 2:55pm. That means you TAKE ORDERS TILL 3pm. That’s how all businesses work. If your hours are REALLY till 2:45pm then set your business hours officially to that time. This woman has repeatedly rudely spoken to customers, including myself to get them out of the store as it nears 3pm. She comes around and interrupts conversations to make sure they know when to leave. She doesn’t take orders sometimes when it’s nearing 3pm. She shuts off online orders too, to avoid anybody coming in before closing. She isn’t nice about it either, she’s rude in how she speaks to customers.
Today I walk in, a small family with one child walks in front of me, and at 2:58pm (I know it was end of day and that’s my bad) but she immediately says WE CLOSE AT 3PM, and turns everybody away. The small child says but it’s not 3! And frowns as we all walk out. I look forward to my coffee as one of the best parts of my day and truly think CAFEIN is amazing but this one manager is just so rude. Just change your hours if you don’t actually take orders before 3pm, if you don’t plan on getting rid of this rude woman. Everybody at Centreville location is so nice to my partner he is met with being treated with familiarity and inclusivity as somebody who’s a regular. He was on the phone with me when I walked in today & was shocked they turned me away before 3. This was not the first time btw there was one or two times in the past I had even called in & said hey I placed a pickup order and my eta was 3pm on the dot and I have pulled up & had the door locked on me or still been met with WE ARE CLOSED rudely by solely only her. She needs an attitude check. Maybe she doesn’t belong in a coffee shop where you need to have a friendly personality.“

They do cakes for events and have a lovely selections. Really close to the gym in the shopping center, great for a coffee after a workout.

I just have a tiny annoyance. They always ask if you have the app at the register. I’m sure they have a metric to hit for app penetration. If I went in every day the same person would ask me everyday like a robot. When they ask me now, I laugh a little every time. Like I said very minor.

The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. The shop works with its customers for their mutual benefit (revenue for the shop, service for the customer), as it should be, not biasing the transaction to either party. The service crew is warm, friendly, and helpful. I hope that I have found my new LBS for supporting my bicycling habit. Love that they incorporate a coffee shop & brewery into their operation too.“

“I love the tea, the staff is great. They have some really good varieties of teas. They always have samples out so you can try the tea. They are pricey but I think that's because of the way that they source things, plus they also use really nice cups and packaging. The furniture in there is beautiful. “Tatte Bakery in Reston offers a beautiful space and delicious food—everything from the pastries to the coffee is thoughtfully made and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. That said, the service could be more attentive and efficient, and cleanliness (especially around tables and restrooms) could use some improvement. Still, the quality of the food and overall vibe make it worth a visit.“

“If you're looking for an intimate, casual, soul food place then you've found your new favorite spot. On a whim, we stopped here after church for Brunch. I reserved a table online for 2pm but was able to get seated 10min before our time. Brunch ended at 3pm so we only dined for about an hour. The place was PACKED but the vibe was intimate and lovely. Everything we had came out hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the Honey Biscuit w/ Peach Preserves, Shrimp and Grits, Fried Whiting, Collards with Smoked Turkey, Cheesy Grits, and the Chicken and Waffles. I was only able to get a pic of the Fried Fish and the Shrimp and Grits because my family dug in so fast!

For drinks, we ordered one Peach Ice Tea and a Hot Chocolate for our kids. Our server was very nice and she checked on us as food was coming out. We waited quite a bit for our omelet and it never made it out but we weren't upset about it because we understood how busy it was.

We paid $32pp plus tax for brunch which wasn't bad considering portions, authenticity to the brand, and the consistency of the quality. I do think the drinks are a bit expensive as the Peach Iced Tea was $8 a glass. They were about the size of a mason jar. The music was relative to the ambiance with its modern rustic feel incorporated by shades of brown, greens, and gold.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and I look forward to returning with family and friends.“

“This place is absolutely phenomenal. It’s a great place to go and meet people let alone buy some fine pastries and sit down and have a conversation with somebody that you don’t even know. I come here quite often. Just sit down and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a Boba tea. I need a fine pastry. I end up leaving with 50+ dollars or more in pastries either for my family or friends and family at work each and every time I come in this place it’s absolutely amazing. The service is beyond the people that come to this place are awesome. I’ve never ever in the last few years that I’ve been going to this place had a bad experience every each, and every time that I come into this place is amazing.“

Needs improvement: The floors are dirty but not very dirty it’s just some dust or tiny particles of food but not much but still happy about it.“

In addition, I wanted to give a special shout out to Nicki who is a ray of sunshine and always goes the extra mile to ensure that customers are taken care of.
