“I used to go to Dave's Seafood YEARS ago when it was in Manassas and when I found out that they were in Chantilly I still drive out there just for the fried catfish. I love that it's fried hard (I hate limp fried fish) and the cornmeal gives the batter a good crunch that's not too much.
The hushpuppies are also very good. They're the kind that have corn inside, not just batter.
I also enjoy the cheesesteaks (I get mine with jumbo sauce), fried shrimp, and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.
I find that they have a good bottled drink selection as well. I always find either an old favorite, or a flavor that I've never tried before.“

“Lots of empty bins for dinner. Asked if more shrimp was coming out and told no. Not even close to closing time. We paid and left a tip for the crappy service only to have 3 waitresses come over and YELL at us saying the $10 we left was not enough for just 2 of us. I'll NEVER go back. Ever. Mediocre food. bad service, scant offerings, and screaming, greedy wait staff. Nope. Bathroom filthy. In 1 stall toilet paper was stuffed into a football sized hole in wall. Floor littered, mold growing around the baseboards. Horrid smell.“

“I was there last. night (Thursday) and the Octopus was delightful as was my 'ordinary' salmon plate with their delicious veggies....The home sparking pink wine served in an unusual goblet was ample and perfect (a substitute for the more expensive Brut when they didn't have theirs cooled._ The alternative was just as good. I'm no connoisseur but I know a good meal when I'm finished. Food ample and the less expensive dishes looked just as appetizing as the more expensive ones. I want to try almost everything once....“

Found this place on a word of mouth recommendation from a neighbor and it did not disappoint! Small little locally owned no frills restaurant serving high quality authentic Tex Mex. This place is tucked behind a 7-11 so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it but I'm glad I found it! I'll be back for sure and can't wait to try the Carne Asada!“

Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. I've been here about 10-15 times now and each time we leave happy, well fed and normally with a little snack/to go box with our leftovers. The fried rice is delicious, they cook everything in front of you (of course) and I'm always satisfied. I will say the prices have increased and the meat quality isn't amazing but it's always a good meal.“
