“I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. You get a sense of "family" when you are there as staff and customers interact. Servers are fun people and make your day. Today was Rubia's day and she is special. Come out and see for yourself.“

The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was fresh and full of flavor, and the dessert was just as impressive. What really made our visit special was our server, Will. He was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Service was quick, portions were generous, and Will even packed our leftovers with great care. Truly a memorable lunch. “Food was amazing, server was excellent, great ambiance. Made a reservation ahead of time for our party of 5. When we arrived the hostess told us they could not seat us in a booth (there were 3 empty large booths) because they were reserved for a large parties. Within 5 minutes of being sat at a table, they sat 2 separate parties of 2 in the booths. Didn't really care about sitting in a booth but didn't appreciate being lied to. I did mention this to the manager who was apologetic and offered to move us. I told him we were totally fine at our table, I just wanted him to know they had lied about it. Didn't expect or ask for anything I just wanted him to be aware. He did end up comping one of our appetizers, apologizing, and speaking to the hostess.“

“Wow. Incredibly impressed with this place. The coffee tasted amazing. The latte was fantastic (get the vanilla cream) with a perfect amount of foam on top. The Nutella acma and the egg sandwich were a perfect start to the day. And everything reasonably priced. Better than reasonable- I haven’t seen a $5 breakfast sandwich in years. And a flavored latte under $5 is almost unheard of. Bathroom was clean. This place was great and I can’t wait to go back.“

“Listen, this place is DELICIOUS. First time I tried Best Buns, I got a Fried chicken egg and cheese sandwich. It was magnificent. But also I was hungover from the previous night so I felt like I couldn’t really enjoy it. So earlier this week, I got a Sausage Egg and cheese on a biscuit on the way to work….AMAZING! But I work in a busy community hospital so again, I couldn’t really savor it. I will be going back for the third time either today or tomorrow. And the staff are super sweeet too. Definitely GO!“

Sam’s customer service and responsiveness were Exceptional and he helped me decide on the mini cakes Since I only had four people to serve. Well, I wish I’d ordered more because they were so delicious and beautiful! I’ve never had such decadent, chocolate cake, and my group loved them too. I ordered the chocolate delight, the chocolate pistachio, and the chocolate hazelnut flavors. I look forward to being a repeat customer. Another plus was that Sam took my order over the Thanksgiving holiday when my normal bakery was closed. I’m so happy to have found this location!“

For Christmas, we received a bag of the original granola, and some granola butter and tbh I forgot all about it because, well, it's granola. We ended up going with EID because Jim, the man we were talking with, went above and beyond to make a connection with me! We brainstormed different ideas and felt like our cake was important to him. We had no problem paying in full because of that connection. His communication was awesome and I was so excited to meet him when we picked up the cake. He took all the tidbits of our conversation and made THE perfect cake. It looked stunning and was equally as delicious! In addition, he met us at the door with complimentary samples. If we ever have another need for a bakery out here, EID with be the only one we call!“

We loved doing the at home tasting and appreciated that Ocean took the time to do a video call with us before we booked!! The team includes a free cake on your one-year anniversary so we didn't even have to worry about boxing it up after the wedding. My only regret is not getting enough cake on wedding day lol guess I'll just have to wait until our anniversary 😉😋!“
