“The Depot Grille was the most interesting of Lynchburg's downtown choices, with a lively crowd, funky decor and (as we chose) outdoor dining overlooking the railway and a corner of the park on a beautiful evening. \n\nThe menu is extensive; the food portions were ample and reasonably priced. In fact, too ample: including two sides and a salad with the main course was overkill, and the server came offering dessert (and when declined, the bill) when we were about halfway through the dishes before us, though obviously slowing down.\n\nThe service was prompt and friendly. Both of us found the food tasted good, but nothing special. An excellent evening, but not a restaurant to which I'd make a detour for the food.“

“Me and my family had an amazing time! Our waitress was named Chelsey and she was one of the kindest servers ever. She checked back at our table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and she even complimented us for being respectful to her and it was very special and nice of her. I also couldn’t decide what drink to have and she recommended Dr Pepper so I got that and was very pleased with that decision. The football was on and our food was hot and came out quick and we had a great time!“

It’s called “”Barbs Dream HUt!”!for a very good reason , we was blessed to have learned about this place from the stay at the AB&B , food was prepared like we was coming over like family for breakfast ~ we only stayed in Lynchburg for 2 days, and had breakfast there 2DAYS! The biscuits for was amazing , my wife enjoyed the potatoes and my father in law enjoyed the pancakes. And we sat down inside and we can see the locals coming in , all walks of life enjoying food that was prepared by hands that know love , respect and it’s obvious when you speak to Ms Barb she officially bring you in as family .“

“My family of 10 dined here tonight for my birthday celebration study 4 pm 🎂 🎈 and we were fortunate to have Sean as our server. He was the best server...so patient, kind and so attentive to details. Iwe will be sure to ask for him next visit. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The pecan crusted salmon and fish snd chips meals were especially good! The dining atmosphere as well as the outdoor views of the downtown area were lovely at night. We are looking forward to returning again soon!“

“we had a WONDERFUL time for karaoke night for the kids. we were seated quickly MORGAN WAS PHENOMENAL AS A WAITRESS! we had a family of 5 and paid 60 bucks thats with tip drinks and hot food! the owner came and helped when waitress was busy. they allowed my kids to be kids and was super helpful. the bathroom was clean. the dj was engaging! we had a blast!“
