“Found this little gem when searching for place to eat not too close to Liberty U. Great location next to train tracks and James River.
Atmosphere was fantastic - old train depot furnished with church pews, vintage quilts and signs. A model wooden train engine adorns a wall. Beautiful turn of the century bar as you enter.
We both order blackened chicken Philly and they did not disappoint.
Since we were on a road trip north, didn't test any beer but you can be sure we will be back to do that.“

“Me and my family had an amazing time! Our waitress was named Chelsey and she was one of the kindest servers ever. She checked back at our table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and she even complimented us for being respectful to her and it was very special and nice of her. I also couldn’t decide what drink to have and she recommended Dr Pepper so I got that and was very pleased with that decision. The football was on and our food was hot and came out quick and we had a great time!“

It’s called “”Barbs Dream HUt!”!for a very good reason , we was blessed to have learned about this place from the stay at the AB&B , food was prepared like we was coming over like family for breakfast ~ we only stayed in Lynchburg for 2 days, and had breakfast there 2DAYS! The biscuits for was amazing , my wife enjoyed the potatoes and my father in law enjoyed the pancakes. And we sat down inside and we can see the locals coming in , all walks of life enjoying food that was prepared by hands that know love , respect and it’s obvious when you speak to Ms Barb she officially bring you in as family .“

“My family of 10 dined here tonight for my birthday celebration study 4 pm 🎂 🎈 and we were fortunate to have Sean as our server. He was the best server...so patient, kind and so attentive to details. Iwe will be sure to ask for him next visit. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The pecan crusted salmon and fish snd chips meals were especially good! The dining atmosphere as well as the outdoor views of the downtown area were lovely at night. We are looking forward to returning again soon!“

Upon arriving we waited a total of ten minutes if that were greeted and seated and our server came right for drink orders, suggested a few menu items for us as we waiting for our Texas onion appetizer, my husband decided to go for the outlaw ribeye with with mushrooms, broccoli and a Caesar salad. I went for the New York strip with broccoli mushrooms and a Caesar salad. From start to finish everything was fresh, the service was top notch and we even tried the strawberry cheesecake desert with real strawberries! We will return !“

“Scoreboards has a very inviting group of servers, kitchen staff, and security. Each employee interacts with the customers in a friendly manner, no matter the age, race, or creed. Food here is delicious, and the cooks accommodate changes to the dishes very skillfully to suit the customer. Prices are reasonable, and the crowd is fun!“

“I'm not even kidding when I say this is the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant! And I've eaten at a lot! This was the Chili's in Lynchburg, Virginia. I cannot tell you how pleasant it was to dine alone and have such fine service from Wanda! She literally was meeting my every need before I ever even asked. I literally just thought it, and a refill showed up. I just thought how nice it would be to have a box for my leftovers, and here it comes. The thought flitted through my mind how great it would be to take some chips and salsa home and she literally walked out of the kitchen with an extra bag and a to go of Diet Coke that I hadn't even asked for, but I had thought of. She was stellar and I gave her a 200% tip! I've already texted all of my friends in town and told them this is where we're eating next time we go out, and I'm bringing my sons back next week for dinner one night. I'm going to ask for Wanda! Aside from the stellar service, the food was incredible! I don't think I've ever seen a burger this big! It was so much food, I took half of it home and will eat it for supper. And if you consider it two meals, it's literally cheaper than fast food. Wow! What a fantastic experience, and I WILL be back!“

“This IHOP is always crazy busy and understaffed. Despite that, the hardworking folks here always go above and beyond. We came in at one of the worst times, a Saturday mid morning rush, and besides that we were seated in leas than 3 minutes for a 2 too and had service within 5 minutes. Our guy was Justin, super friendly and managing multiple tables with minimal help. He was quick, friendly, and working hard. We had our meal in less than 20 minutes despite how crazy timings were. We saw him give each table time and patience despite how crazy and demanding each order was. Cool, calm, and collected, Justin kept a happy demeanor despite all adversity. We had a solid meal, excellent service thanks mostly to Justin, and more peace than expected in this lively environment. Whatever this IHOP is doing, keep doing so and please recognize the hardworking staff like Justin.“
