“I have been a patron of this establishment for over 30 years and in all that time I have never been asked to pay a gratuity fee. I have had birthday parties , baby showers and rehearsal dinner. I realize there was six in my party. Paying by two different checks. The owner whom my kids played with growing up tells me its on the menu that the its up to the server degression to use it or not. You know where it is on the menu???? All the way down at the bottom paste the food items. In smaller print. Sad to say I will no longer be a customer here thanks to the sever Miranda“

“We had a pretty big party for the small building on New Year’s Eve, we have gone to big chain restaurants every year on New Year’s Eve for my sisters birthday and it was always terrible service. Everyone’s food would come out cold, they would make portions smaller cause a lot of us order the same, I want to definitely give you guys a HUGGGGE shoutout, everyone was HAPPY everyone’s food was perfect and hot and the server was awesome. She’s always there every time we go and she’s great. We really appreciate you guys making the space for our large group. And as ALWAYS THANK YALL FOR THE AMAZING FOOD! Definition of supporting local. The penne vodka was good but I believe lacked a bit of seasoning of some sort. Overall we are extremely pleased with our experience. “I came in for lunch while working in the city and wasn’t disappointed.

The slice of pizza I got was good and the sub was great. The fries that came with the sub were top tier, probably the best fries of any pizza place I’ve been to.
I received excellent customer service. The staff were very friendly. The dining area was clean which is always refreshing to see.
The menu is pretty varied, there’s definitely something for everyone. My only regret is I wasn’t able to try everything on it in one sitting!

All in all, I give it 5 stars. Quick service, great food and I know for a fact I’ll be back to eat there next time I’m near the city.“

“I am a grandmother visiting from out of town. I came to my son’s house. I called Frank’s and another place and couldn’t get anybody to help me deliver. Deliver pizza to my grandkids and then I called Jojo’s, and the gentleman couldn’t have been kinder set up my delivery took my payment over the phone, including my tip, felt like old-fashioned service not all this new stuff with Uber eats and all that other stuff can’t wait for the food to get here. “Was in Mechanicsville for a Cross Country meet. My daughter wanted pizza afterwards. So, not being from the area we went to Google for help. It led us to Primo Pizza, and we were glad it did. We ordered a couple pizzas, a sub and cheese sticks. Everything was delicious! The service was great, and we received our food promptly. We will definitely stop in the next time we are in the area.“

“Me and my 5 year old ( Faith ) come here a lot. This is her favorite. The service and staff are always so nice and friendly. The times they have went above and beyond for us is truly amazing. “Stopped here for a quick bite! We had just left the airport and aren’t from this area. I found this place online and we gave it a try. The house dressing was so yummy, the pizza crust was perfect and toppings were very flavorful. The sauce was rich in flavor, also. They have a take out window/section and a dine in area with about 6 or 7 tables. Nice atmosphere, good food, and Milton came out to chat with us. He and his Son provided excellent customer service!“

“reeeeally good pizza spot. Loyalty program is pretty good, accessible to VCU students, small but cool inside, lots of unique options for pizzas. Good vegan and vegetarian options from the looks of it. Fire garlic knots and the employees are funny (but still get stuff done of course!). I don't go here a lot bc when I do I order half the menu haha.

There is a broke duo discount thing where you get like two personal cheese pizzas for like 16 bucks if u look at their menu online u will see what I mean.

Customization doesn't cost like a billion dollars if you want some good finishing stuff like red pepper or pickled onions. They didn't even charge me for the fancy goat cheese so that was cool.

“We were traveling through the area and got hungry after a round of golf. Finding good is a crapshoot but Maria’s is a definite winner. We originally stopped in for pizza, how bad could someone screw up pizza.
The menu was so interesting we went for a dinner, I had the Chicken Cacciatore and my wife had the Chicken Piccata cooked to her dietary needs. Both were delicious.
Definitely a good stop, the service was also very good.“

“Dougie was not a happy associate. he was complaining as I entered the store about other being late and started tr ed he had just got the order and slammed the food into the box bit never gave me the doordash order for pick up. Young lady at the register apologized that I had to encounter such a disgruntled employee who stormed out the back door after pushing her to the side to retrieve his belongings at the register... if unhappy about your job then do t bring it into the establishment“

“Unfortunately this location is very inconsistent. Shame on us for continuing to order after several inaccurate orders that were reported through surveys and acknowledged, but we had hope that those were one offs. When they are good, they are good. But when they are bad, it's so random as to how bad they are. I've had the occasional sauces (paid extra) forgotten all the way to ordering a vegetarian pizza only to have it arrive with chicken on it. I then even let them get me two times back to back where I ordered the heavily advertised hot honey (also paid extra for this extra) and didn't get it either time. The last straw, ordered at 10:30pm, received a notification at 11:15pm (email) that my pizza was on the way. At 12:18am it was delivered. I am completely aware that it was obviously a very busy night. However, my food rode around in a car for at least an hour, and it showed. That's a problem. I confess that we have ordered once since then but it was going in knowing that it would likely suck. And while it came as ordered, and in a timely manner, it's no where near the quality it was when this location first opened and hasn't been in a very long time.“
