“Il Faro is a very good restaurant. I love the Chicken Marsala here. Extremely tasty. A different spin on it as they don't use spaghetti as the pasta. The chef uses penne pasta and it absorbs the flavors of the sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and the organic chicken well. The chicken is extremely tender and the chef consistently delivers this dish in the three times we have been here since they took over after Mama Mias closed. I also want to note they do the appetizers well. We enjoy the mozzarella sticks and the meatballs. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh since it doesn't have that frozen taste and the sauce to dip in is very tasteful. As for the meatballs, they are beef based but the chef adds a great flavor of the tomato sauce and mozzarella and they add delightful bread to soak up the remaining sauce and cheese after you enjoy the meatballs. The pizza is a thin crust cooked toward the under side so no browning on the cheese. It is a NY pizza in the finest of traditions. You will enjoy it. Service is top notch. I mean 100%. We go in and we are 100% satisfied with the service. Waitress is efficient, smart and completely interested in making sure you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Ordered online today to pick up at 11:20am…. Walked to store and ended up waiting 40 minutes while the employees made all the customers that walked in orders first. The wait to pickup line kept growing and growing and since we had all paid for our meals, leaving was not an option. Not once did anyone acknowledge or apologize. It would I gotten order quicker by walking in to order. I think the manager needs to rethink that the call in orders are equally as important as walk-ins“

It was a perfect rest from the rush hour traffic after legging Dulles airport and heading back home.Parking: It was a little bit of a backwards parking lot and to me a minute to figure out how to enter from the correct direction. You need to enter from the second drive, and like you are headed to the hotel… then you take a left into the parking lot just before the drive-thru goes off to the left at the very back. However, it seems the only time we think about it is on a Sunday---and as we all know, that doesn't work out.I was in the area doing some errands. Before I left home, I asked my husband if he wanted to get a salad from them. He agreed. We never got food before from this location because entering and exiting this shopping area is a real pain due to traffic congestion.I was here on a Friday around 4 p.m. and already the drive-thru line was really long. So. I parked the car and went inside to order our food. That proved to be a great idea. There was no line at the time. A nice young woman took my order and repeated it back to me. I ordered 2 Cobb salads. For my salad, I chose Chick-fil-A's recommended dressing for this salad, which is "avocado lime". My husband wanted ranch dressing for his.This salad makes a good filling meal. From their website (I copied and pasted):"Chick-fil-A® Nuggets, freshly breaded and pressure-cooked, sliced and served on a fresh bed of mixed greens, topped with roasted corn kernels, a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, crumbled bacon, sliced hard-boiled egg and grape tomatoes. Prepared fresh daily. Served with Charred Tomato and Crispy Red Bell Peppers. Pairs well with Avocado Lime Ranch dressing."All the ingredients were fresh as we expected.
