“My family took me for Mothers Day and the service was top notch! Our server was Ed, but the entire waitstaff took care of us, from keeping our drinks full, bringing our food, clearing our dishes and even packaging up our leftovers. We loved the teamwork and will be back. This was our third time dining in the last two years. Thank you!“

“We came to this place on a whim. The inside is very cozy but small. I suggest making a reservation on a weekend unless you want to sit at the pizza bar.Every order comes with bread and olive oil mixture. Loved the flavor of the olive oil mix and the bread was very fresh. We ordered the Orecchiette Bari and a pizza ( Tre Pocellini ). The pizza is probably the closest pizza we found to another Italian pizza place in another county that we love and were missing the taste. My only complaint with the pizza is it is a bit soggy. I suggest they turn the heat up on their oven as they only set it to 380… quite low for a pizza oven (granted if this is C then it’s fine). The Orecchiette Bari was good. The pasta is almost like squished shells. The flavor of the sausage is nice and spicy. Sauce is good but didn’t seem to cost the pasta very well.“

“I absolutely adore this downtown coffee spot! It's become my go-to place for a pick-me-up. Their drinks are not just delicious but also so creative! Every visit feels like a little adventure trying out their different and amazing drinks. It's definitely my signature spot in town, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to spice up their coffee routine!I got the scone and a flat white but I loved strangely delicious“

“Had a great meal once we moved. I know it is a tavern but when one table is so overwhelming, loud and obnoxious to the point where you can't even hear the person that is across the table, it's a little out of hand. Management should have stepped in.But besides that the food was delicious and the service was very good. The only suggestion might be change the menus out. They were very worn, crumbly and torn. Also the top of the booth could use a dust rag.“

“We frequently dine at this location and it's more than just the food that brings us back. Our favorite time of year to dine in is during the warmer months on the patio area. Beautiful patio area once the sun starts to set, delicious food, and great service!“

“Was in town and stopped by for brunch on a Saturday. It was packed - 35 minute wait, but tables turned efficiently. The girl at reception was very kind and knew we were hungry, rushed us to a table as quickly as possible. Our server was friendly and efficient. The hash browns were cold, not sure if they had been sitting there. Everything else we ordered was delicious.Recommended for a delicious (expect a heart attack) lunch/brunch spot!Easy parking as well since half the strip mall is vacant.“

“Best pho/overall Vietnam restaurant I've tried! My bf and I drive an hour south for the food as often as we can and have been for 4-5 years now. Every other pho place has just never reached the same level of satisfaction in taste, service, or portions. We get the beef pho, chicken pho, mushroom delight, and the various curries. Their apps are also reliably delicious, especially the wonton soup!Saigon bowls are super filling and with an order of extra noodles, plenty for leftovers!Love to see them grow and succeed, even if I selfishly wanted to keep it a secret hahaDefinitely getting busier during meal hours and weekends, but a lovely, quiet environment during off-times on weekdays“

“This is going to sound weird but the snap beans with mushrooms I had last night will not be soon forgotten as they were delicious. The crab cakes were unexpectedly spicy which many will appreciate but I would liked a warning. Our server was super.“

“By far the best dining experience I've had in Fredericksburg. Excellent service from the staff; top notch professionalism and knowledge of their menu, with considerate but not overly frequent stops by our table to refill drinks, check in, and follow up on the meal.My wife and I got the Bigger Night Out four course dinners for two to celebrate our honeymoon and could not have been more satisfied. Every bite of food was fresh and scrumptious, the flavors of each course were novel and filling, yet light and portioned well that they left you wanting for the next bite. I especially enjoyed the sirloin and the mushroom ravioli, and my wife dove into her shrimp and lobster tail with abandon as well.I feel like it'd be a disservice to ignore how wonderful the cocktails were too. I had the lemon drop while my wife had the espresso martini. The bartending was perfect with each flavor of the drinks coming through cleanly without overpowering each other. The ambience was also impossible to ignore, the darker interior with subtle lighting, and private booths and tables providing excellent privacy for each party in the restaurant; there was little to no crosstalk noticeable from other guests or staff, and the music was kept comfortably low to help set the mood without drowning out conversation. We will absolutely be returning in the future to sample more of the varied menu and look forward to another special evening!“

“Eating at Amy's for the first time was a solidly good experience. We were stuck in traffic and we stopped in for lunch to rest for a little bit. The staff was the best part. It felt like it wouldn't take long to know everyones name and be welcomed as family. The food was satisfying-good sized lunch portions. Highly recommend the French Silk Pie. The Reuben Egg Rolls were a fun novelty-heavy and fried. Overall-I'd love a little more flavor and a comfortable booth, but don't skip it. Amy's is a local treasure.“

“This is one of our favorite places downtown. They always have fun cookies for the kids, every breakfast burrito and sandwich we’ve had has been delicious. Once, myself and another friend had set up on the back patio so we could have our coffee and the kids could move around (there was no one else on the patio for them to disturb) and Eileen herself came out, asking if she could bring out cookies for the kids, asking which drinks we’d gotten, if they were good. The staff is always friendly and informative, the inside is cute and clean. Can’t go wrong here!“

“Ordered first time from here for a celebratory event. We ordered Green Chicken curry with chicken & tofu, Ground Chicken Ka-Prow, Druken Lo-mein & Thai tea. Each food item was delicious and plentiful. Good taste, ample portions and even the Thai tea was so much that my husband and I both shared it and still had more to go. I can’t wait to try other items on this restaurant’s menu“

“First time having brunch here and it did not disappoint. I had the west coast omelette, margarita flight and cranberry mimosa. All were delicious ? My in laws have celiac disease and were able to enjoy a fully gluten free meal. Our waitress was amazing and took their dietary restrictions seriously. I don't usually see that at restaurants. We definitely will be back!“

“This place I just can't... I mean, this was the absolutely BEST food experience I have had to date!! I booked reservations for my boyfriend's birthday because we enjoy food and wine pairings and I had found this place on the internet and thought it was right up his ally. The ambiance is clean and modern. The food is off the chart. And the service was okay... with the most cordial person being the chef who brought one of our meals out and chatted with us a bit. I would normally enter in to a long drawn out review here, but I am reading others' and they say it best. I will say that the Salmon and Ginger was actually one of the best morsels of food I have ever put in my mouth! And I despise Salmon. LOL“

“I thought that this was another chain restaurant. It is anything but that! It’s a restaurant that grew up from an awesome food truck business. The menu is made up of really great sandwiches and dogs. Happy hour is full of average beers, but they have a self serve craft beer wall that hits the spot. I found that my secret to the menu was going with the bartenders suggestion and adding chicken and bacon to the vegetarian mushroom melt sandwich and getting the honey old bay tots. Very satisfying and delicious! We even experimented with a few cocktails. This is a fun place that features live music on occasion. Great find!Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian. I added a protein to a vegetarian sandwich“

“My family & I enjoyed our meal. I had the Captain Miso, the sauce was buttery and delightful, but my lobster tail had a char that gave it a bitter taste. My dad had the sushi platter, my step mom had onion rings & fried shrimp along with chicken shumai. My nieces had sushi appetizers, shrimp fried rice, and Pho. My brother had singapore noodles & sushi.“

“Don't let negative reviews deter you from supporting the wonderful work Juan More Taco has done for our community. And for those questioning the cuisine, it's worth noting that their food is not Mexican but rather Honduran cuisine, and it is delicious.Having been a part of their team from 2018 to 2022, I'm deeply grateful for the experiences and opportunities they provided. During my tenure, the owners displayed exemplary leadership, prioritizing the well-being of both their staff and the community. Even during the challenging times of the pandemic, they remained steadfast in their commitment to safety and support, going above and beyond to provide for their employees and extend generosity to those in need, especially our elders.Their ethos of kindness and inclusivity isn't just a facade, it's ingrained in every aspect of their establishment. As a former manager, I can personally attest to the genuine care they extend to each team member and customer. Their dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment sets them apart. It's disheartening to see unfounded criticisms tarnishing the reputation of a place that holds such significance for me and our community. I urge you not to let these misguided reviews sway your opinion. Instead, I encourage you to experience the warmth and authenticity of Juan More Taco firsthand. As someone who has worked alongside them and poured heart and soul into every dish, I can assure you that the food is crafted with the same love and passion that defines their entire operation.Come taste the flavors of Juan More Taco in Fredericksburg, and you'll understand why it holds a special place in the hearts of so many in the community. You won't be disappointed.“

“Update from a month agoUnfortunately, just like so many other places, there is a lack of consistency when it comes to quality of food, specifically for phone, take out ordersI have ordered this item a couple of times and each time the quality of the food served was less than I expected. The last time the chorizo was greasy, some of the potatoes were cold/hard and shortly after eating this, it upset my stomach; probably the grease.I was not going to return, but decided to try the vegetarian version. Instead of egg whites, the cook decided to do a fried egg. I was not in the mood for sending food back or having to wait for my order to be prepared correctly. This is why I expect my order to be repeated back to me, of which it was, yet my order was still not prepared correctly. My egg whites are always scrambled and there was yellow in the egg indicating that there was yoke and not egg whites.?This lack of consistency eliminates my desire to patronize this establishment...at least for phone, take out orders. ?Initial reviewWas looking for a good brunch with good reviews. This place appeared to be worth a try. Glad that I tried it.?Only street parking available, but able to find parking directly across the street. Unfortunately, only steps and no ramp available to enter. ? Also, the door is very heavy and as soon as you push the door to come in, there is very little room to stand while wanting to be seated because not that big; the door is very heavy to pull to exit. ?Ordered the chorizo hash and dark cocoa biscuit. The chorizo hash was a pleasant suprise and a healthy serving size. Looking forward to ordering that dish again. Would definitely recommend.Did not know what to expect for the biscuit. It was a bit dry, too thick and a little hard on the outside. It was edible, but I was not impressed...$4 for 1 biscuit is ridiculous. ?“

“The ice cream is definitely one of the best I've ever had. However, one or two of the waiters should work on their friendliness (which is rather unusual for the USA). This ice cream parlor has remained in the style of the 50's and the ice cream is still made in the same way. If you're in Fredericksburg Virginia, this ice cream shop should definitely be on your itinerary. It doesn't look spectacular, but it tastes sensationally good.“

“Thankfully, I did not read the reviews before eating at Pimenta. It has a very homey feel. The waitress and the person cooking the food were very welcoming. There was no one there so I was told to sit wherever I like. While I waited for my friend to arrive the waitress brought me drink samples of the sorrel and pineapple ginger drinks. I had never had sorrel before even though I have been to other Jamaican restaurants before. I ordered the brown stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. It was all freshly-prepared and delicious. I had to stop myself from eating it all at the restaurant. I have been thinking about it since I was there last week. I think my friend had the jerk shrimp and same sides as me. She loved her dish. We were too full for dessert but will order either an appetizer or a dessert to share when we return in June. Thought the music was a tad loud I appreciated the variety and it contributed to the warm atmosphere. The bathroom was clean. Some things to know before you go: 1) A 20% gratuity is already added to the bill; 2) If you're looking for fancy, this is more of a down-home neighborhood spot; 3) Each table has a QR code to scan the latest menu, though there is a paper menu available. I am not sure why there are so many low reviews but my experience was quite different. When you go in, take a deep breath and go with the flow.“

“Everyone working here are always diligent and strive to make your orders correct every time. Out of all the places I frequent in the area, Poke Sushi has never let me down in accuracy of fulfilling the orders, unlike other fast foods or restaurants that something is always missing.Only critique I'd give them is that the Sriracha Aioli is sometimes too hot, like fire-breathing dragon hot! This has made me ask for the Sriracha Aioli on the side.“

“Incredible noodle house! I’m convinced this place can’t make a bad dish because everything I have ordered thus far has been amazing. The vibes are also spectacular! With beautiful art on the walls, and chill music playing, this place is truly amazing and I always try to stop by and eat when I’m on a date.Parking: Minimal street parking, but sometimes there’s an open spot if you’re lucky. “This place is PHENOMENAL! Went to Foode on "first Friday" Arrived without a reservation, and despite being pretty busy was seated right away. Hostess and my server (Kat) both recommended the confit duck leg (it was the feature entree) but as you can see I went a different direction (I had reviewed the menu before I got there). Kat was a great waitress, attentive, yet not over the top attentive. Started with the local sourdough boule which came warm with soft butter and olive oil (because I love bread and I knew how well it would go with the entree). Off to a great start. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits with a side of the roasted root vegetables. The shrimp and grits was really good, there's a flavor in there I could not identify but added not only flavor but a very interesting bouquet. Shrimp were relatively giant and were perfect. Roasted root vegetables were, again, perfect....a nice variety of vegetables and a surprise of candied walnut mixed in which added a whole new flavor dimension. I did take the hostesses recommendation and had the chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Here's where they go from 5 to 4 stars. Yes, the presentation was awesome (I mean, haven't we always said to ourselves if a restaurant would just serve some milk with dessert?) and the cookies were warm and giant. But...they aren't really chocolate chip cookies. They're more like a spice-oatmeal cookie with some chocolate chips added in. I was disappointed, not because they didn't taste good (they did) but because they weren't really chocolate chip cookies. Foode is housed in an old bank building, nice decor. I didn't see much of the space but what I saw was pretty cool. I will definitely be back. Pricey? Not really. Yes, my bill was $62 before tip....but I did take my leftovers with me, so 2 meals for $62? Ok.“

“What a wonderful hometown Italian restaurant. Highly recommended from the staff at the hotel I'm staying at. Krystal was my server. Such great service. Overhead there was charming Italian music playing overhead. Songs I've never heard before.! miele "giardino dei semplici anno" As well as the song "chissa se mi ritroverai" by gianni togni testo It was so nice to hear music from the 1980's ... and Italian. Very bellísima (^^) It made such a nice atmosphere. But I digress, For dinner I ordered a small salad and vegetarian stuffed shells. They were stuffed with spinach, ricotta cheese, and melted mozzarella on top. It was so very delicious. My bff ordered French onion soup, and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The food was a big hit.. flavorful and hot. They also give garlic knots for a table, but I was too stuffed to eat them . They smelled heavenly. We really enjoyed our food and had a nice time here.“
