“Just had a wonderful Thanksgiving Brunch at Riverwalk. Everything was great from the service, drinks and food . What a better way to celebrate the holiday with family and the beautiful view of the River.“

“My husband and I join another couple from time to time to try new restaurants, as we all consider ourselves "foodies". They had gone to Circa recently, and were excited for us to try it as well. I had heard of Circa because I'd been given a gift card a couple years ago, but I lost it, and only had the envelope and gift card receipt. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out, my husband and I received nothing but the best service. Our waiter, Regina, was exceptional - professional, personable and attentive. She sold my husband on Friday night's entire special. I had the mushroom and leek soup, brisket wontons and bison meatloaf. I'm not ashamed to say I did not come up for air. I ate it all! The pairings, textures, layers of flavor and portion sizes were everything. And to top it all off, I told Regina about my gift card mishap, and the manager honored the card! I was blown away by this dining experience; it was awesome.“

“The meal was delicious and served at the appropriate temperature. The ambiance of the establishment was inviting, and the staff was courteous and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, particularly the cinnamon swirl pancakes, which were exceptionally delectable. The white cheddar grits were also quite good, and I appreciated the option to create a custom omelet. My husband ordered the French toast and an omelet, both of which he enjoyed. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to sample the mimosas, but based on their appearance, I believe they would have been refreshing.“

From our first phone call with Dana to the many follow up emails and menu adjustments the process was easy and Dana’s crew delivered nothing less than excellence on our big day. Most wings places always give you a ranch/blue cheese with your meal but here you are charged .60 cent per ranch. We ordered 40 wings and only got 2 ranches and had to pay !!! “We had an amazing meal on the deck on a perfect October nightl! The clam strips were cooked just right and the entrees were just as good. I had the Mahi which was seasoned perfectly and my wife had the New York Strip and said it was one of the best steaks she has had in a long time. Can't wait to go back again!“

“The owners are super nice. Our food is always hot and delicious. I always get two pork chop sandwiches with tomato lettuce and onions with French fries and two egg rolls. I may even drink a beer while we are there. It's a chill place to go and shoot pool and listen to some good music and laugh with friends.“

“We reserved the upstairs room for a group of 18 on a Saturday when they were super busy. Our server Brittany informed us that someone had called out so she would be waiting on us by herself. “We had the King Suite and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom was big and so was the living room area. There is only one bathroom so our daughtet had to use the one in our room. Although the pull out couch was okay she preffered the roll away bed that they provided when asked. When you walk into your room there is a switch by the door that you must turn on to turn the bathroom lights on and off in the bathroom. The bathroom was a nice size with good lighting. The floor can be a little slippery when wet. It may have been the type of tile. The pool area was very nice and enjoyed. The lobby area is a nice size. Oh although you cant tell the King Suite door closes and locks. The staff was very friendly all the time. When ever we needed anything they were there to assist. Overall I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Besides the one bathroom in the suite I would give 10 because of the confort. If continental breakfast was availablenit would have been 12“

“Overall this hotel was really nice, clean and wonderful staff. I would recommend this hotel. The only problem was, the toilet was loud when flushing. It was a 20-30 minute drive to Virginia Beach. Which was fine. I stay at this hotel again. It may not be ocean front, but it's clean, comfortable and affordable.“

“Ok hear me out this place is so GOOD, it was my FIRST TIME trying it out , definitely coming back !!! ok the reviews had me scared however, I actually see people going into this place DAILY . I tried for myself and got a chicken sandwich combo and tenders with fries(21$) The guy in front was very nice and polite and the wife was the cook. From the menu I wasn't expecting much and with them being across from the shipyard don't expect huge portions - their clientele are working 10 hours shifts with 30min lunches lol ? . However the portion should fill you up decent . My food was made to order which I appreciated , had I not wanted to wait I would've called it in. Clean but dated environment but again their clientele is ship yard so people aren't eating inside. Again food is GREAT ??“

“This Cafe is in the McDonald Army health center on Fort Eustis. Convenient for staff and patients to use. Prices are a little high but the food is more than fair.

Parking: Parking is available. You just may have to walk a short distance to enter the Clinic.

“I mainly come out here for live music and the weekly open mics. I don’t drink so I have no need to sit at the bar. However, I will say that the server with the black hair is one of the most unpleasant individuals I’ve ever encountered. She’s always working on Thursdays (open mic nights). You would think that I rejected her back in high school or something. I try to get along with everyone but sometimes some people really just suck. Other than that, I love the place.“
