“What a nice "discovery" this place was for us. Riding our motorcycles back home after visiting Western Maryland and WV, we decided to stop for lunch here. Food was abundant, fresh, and tasty. We all had the country fried steak breakfast platter. Cannot go wrong with it.Another pleasant surprise was the coffee. Best cup of coffee I've ever had at a diner. “New and happening place in Marshall VA located on Main Street. I like the cozy feel of small town and food is to die for. First time there I sat at the bar and delighted on a Devils Backbone and Salmon- moist, not overcooked, seasoned, and filling. Second time a friend and I waited in the parking lot until it opened at 11. We were not disappointed! Clam chowder reminded me of Chesapeake Bay Seafood House! Clams were not chewy, base tasted like a touch of New England on the shore. Amazing! Then the third time, we had the NY strip steak - prepared to perfection!! The flavor and so tender that you could cut it with a fork. Wings were marinated with the flavor instead of cooked with sauce poured over it. Chef is absolutely amazing. Drinks are cold, food is prepared perfectly and served hot. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Staff is very personable and friendly. The owner walked around and introduced himself. Very down to earth people! It’s a must visit for yourself!Parking: Parking in the front, sides, and back of the restaurant. They are lined spaces so no chaos. You can also park on Main Street.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. The restaurant has booths and high chairs for the little ones to sit in. Music is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: When dining a gentleman wheeled in and was able to comfortably sit at a table while his friend set in the booth.“

“I've never been to a cafe that serves alcohol before, so I had a couple drinks to help make up for all of the times that I'd been to cafes in the past that didn't serve alcohol.I had the special of the day: a burger with Swiss cheese and ham (ordered without pineapple) and onion rings. This place does food really well. BOTH sides of the buns were toasted, the burger was quality, and they used spiral cut ham chunks! I was expecting deli ham, but they knocked it out of the park.It was a great way to have lunch on my 40th birthday.Parking: The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall. “Sad they do not have the Curry Chicken Salad anymore, but still very good food. The person at the register didn't know the menu as well or didn't want to make recommendations. Small inside, but had outside seating. It's getting a little chilly for that.“

“Our first visit to Field and Main for my birthday 02/2024 was exceptional. We had made reservations well ahead of time, and were seated in the open kitchen area that was very interesting to watch. The head chef was the expediter, and all chefs called out the dish after he called it to them. A well oiled run machine that kitchen is!Kyle, our server was friendly, prompt and chatted with us about some wines. The Oomami smash burger was delicious, and the bread board was surprisingly rich and light with the truffle ricotta. Our main course of scallops in a parsnip puree and the buccatini pasta in a carrot sauce were to die for. Rich, elegant and warming. Now I want to attempt to make a carrot sauce!We will certainly return for future dinners, and can't wait to sit outside once the weather warms. “i was so happy to have been able to eat here before they closed for good yesterday (leap day). the owner was so nice, and i could tell that she had built a community based off of the way the other diners were hugging her goodbye on her last day of business. i got the philly cheesesteak on kaiser bread, and it was so good, i took a photo of it before i ate it so that i could try and recreate it at home. it's such a shame that i discovered how good it was on the last day, but i wish the owners all the best & a happy retirement :)“

“We were in the area for a Christmas party and needed a place for lunch. We stumbled upon this place. The parking lot was big and easy, parking the inside was spacious and didn't have an issue finding a table. You order with the cashier there menu is pretty small, not a ton of a selection. I opted in to get the 5 boneless wings for $7.25. I got Asian, the flavor was really good, and the size of the wings was good. My boyfriend went with the Philadelphia cheeseteak for $9.20 and added hotsauce. He said it was enjoyable, not as good as a Philadelphia cheesesteak. However, was still tasty. His aunt got the burger meal combo with fries for $15.25. The fries were fresh cut and got a nice portion. We ended the meal with a chocolate shake for $6. It was delicious after about half an hour passed and we could actually drink it. It was so thick, and they didn't give a thick milkshake straw to drink, so it was impossible to drink until it melted. All in all, it was good..“

“Hunter's Head is an authentic 18th century tavern with delicious 21st century food. We sat outside on the lovely patio surrounded by flowers. Three of our guests had the Thyme & Mushroom quiche which was absolutely the best quiche I have ever put in my mouth! Definitely will return for dinner.“

“We ordered take out curbside. We were going to do outback but they have gotten pretty expensive and had problems last couple of time at outback so tried LongHorn instead. Glad we did.Got to LongHorn and notified via web I was there. Food was delivered in a couple of minutes, very impressed. Food was hot and staff was friendly. Whe I got home I forgot how generous the portions were. The food was cooked just right and so grateful for trying LongHorn instead of our usual.This will become our new norm when looking to eat a great meal at home.Parking: Parking can be tight on busy nights.“

“So my buddy found this place for a quick beer while we were riding around on our motorcycles. We got there a little early since they open at 1130 but it wasn't bad. The area has some nice shops and plenty of space to walk around for a few. The gentlemen who served us at the bar was very kind and had some info on the best motorcycle routes and different ways to get to his spot from where we were coming from. Overall great spot, good location and great beer. Oh I got the rueben sandwich and it was delicious.“

“We are locals and visit Harrimans about twice a year. Food is always excellent with great service. Erin, our server on April 6th, was exceptionally delightful. If I could request Erin every time I would. Absolutely must visit. Great for special occasions, and they may make a little extra effort to acknowledge your day (e.g., anniversary, birthday, etc.)“

“We went for late lunch/brunch at the brass cannon Sunday for Easter and we loved everything, the ambiance was great because it was not noisy, as it was 2:30pm, we had the best table by the window facing the golf course, our food was excellent, deviled eggs and crab Benedict , and we loved the fact that it was “a la carte “menu and not a buffet, it’s nice to choose whatever a person wants, and we had the best service from our server Pamela :) Thank you !“

“The honest days work bar, the blue collar hero’s bar, the home town home cooking bar. The buffalo chicken wrap is a huge favorite and don’t forget about the fried rice!! Ask about the off menu “PJ’s Salmon Salad”! The best place to stop after 18 holes on the course.“

“I'm consistently happy with the food and service here. Occasionally the bar is closed due to special events at the resort so it's worth calling ahead. 4 stars instead of 5 due to our lunch bill exceeding $500 for 4 adults and 3 kids the last time we were there.“
