This place is the best example of keeping it simple. They do not try to dress themselves up like the rest of these instagram cafes. You walk up to the counter, where you order many of the usual stables such as Breakfast Burrito, Eggs, Steak and Cheese, etc. Prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are good. “The place is beautiful and clean. Good food fast at a reasonable price with nice service. Check out their Korean/Chineese food, too! Orange chicken, firecracker chicken, and Korean fried chicken sandwich. We got the following for 4 people and took more than half of it home: Cardiac Arrest; Combo with waffle, fried eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast; tripple stack pancakes; chorizo burrito; large side of potatoes; side of bacon; 2 coffee; 2 water; orange juice. “Ok so just ordered the Turkey on Gluten Free Multigrain and man this is the best gluten free sandwich in the area hands down. The proportions are perfect, flavours blend well, and the bread tastes great + doesn’t fall apart and is not dry. 10/10 would definitely order again to try their GF sub roll!

Edit: Tried the Capicola with GF sub roll and yeah this is my new sandwich spot now.

The sandwiches are so freaking good, and I'm usually not big on fries or home-made chips, but I finished it all, they're both so delicious. The bread is so good too, and everything is reasonably priced. This is going to be my go-to sandwich place in the area. I can't wait to try their cocktails next!“

“I came out of the metro stop on the way to work and saw this little unsuspecting shop. I decided later that day to go to lunch with my coworkers and suggested this place. There were quite a lot of people in line for these sandwiches, which was a very good sign already.
Reasonably priced and the KBBQ sub is STUFFED with saucy, slightly spicy meat and yummy pickled veggies. The turkey melt is also a popular favorite and my coworker liked it. It made me full for the whole day. I really want to try their bowls next time!“

“Running errands and turned off 395 to make some phone calls. Pulled in to the parking lot and decided to try JJ's vice the Subway nearby. Glad I did. This was during COVID-19 era, so I ordered my sandwich, went out side to make some calls and 5-7 minutes later my Pannini was done. I believe I had the roast beef w/ bacon, but whatever it was - it was cooked just right and the veggies didn't overbear the sandwichs as is often the case. “One of the best values in the DMV. A host of 3-egg multi-filling omelettes with potatoes and 2 pieces of toast for under $8?!? R U kidding me? I had to pinch myself to remember it wasn’t the 1980’s!

They’ll make omelettes to order too. Today I added gyro meat to their Greek omelette. Yes, a slight $2.25 up-charge for the gyro meat, but it was delicious. Both times I’ve been there, the food arrived piping hot. Coffee is excellent too.

On my previous visit, got the omelette with pastrami and corned beef - outstanding!

I saw the breakfast burrito a fellow patron ordered, and it looked delicious. I’ll try that on my next visit.

My 2 suggestions to the owner/management:

- Develop some sort of ala carte system for omelette ingredients (ala pizzas) so you can build your own (or add things) w/o being constrained by the half-dozen standing variants on the menu board

- Use washable plastic plates and better cutlery for dine-in patrons. Will attract more diners tired of paying $19 in RTC and will be more sustainable and environmentally friendly. A post-Covid mindset shift from being an ‘office complex deli’ to a ‘legit fast casual restaurant…that happens to be located in an office complex’ would work wonders!“

“Subway is a go to staple of mine. Today due to many factors I needed to buy lunch and was on 123. I saw this subway and pulled in. First off they greeted me as I entered. Nice touch. The store was adequately staffed and turning sandwiches fast. Everyone was friendly and professional. I ordered the subway club which is thankfully back on the menu. When I started eating my sandwich the first thing I noticed was the roll. This was much better then any subway I have been to. The roll had a nice crust and was soft and fluffy on the inside like it should be. All the ingredients tasted fresh and I have never been happier with a sandwich from subway in all the years I have been going (20+) Great crew at this location.“
