“Greeted by an army of sandwich makers, The Sandwich Shop is a well oiled machine. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I came because of the vegetarian options and opted for something I would never normally try: the broccolini and sun dried tomato sandwich. Sometimes this tactic pays off, other times it’s a bust. Regrettably this choice didn’t pay off. I won’t hold it against them too much. It was a risky choice; I guess I don’t like sundried tomatoes as much as I thought I did. The bread however was great, and the atmosphere perfect for a lunch. I’ll try again another day and update the review.“

I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was so good, the chicken was cooked fresh and it had a crunch that made it so enjoyable to eat. The Greek salad is simple but taste fresh. My friend got the steak sub and it taste better than most restaurants, meat had lots of flavor. The owner of the restaurant is a friendly nice man. Restaurant is very clean and food comes out fast.“
“Our favorite spot in Ballston! Food is honestly a hit and the staff is the kindest I know. Decor is beautiful (flower installation across the ceiling). Great florist / gift section available. Sundays are great for $3 mimosas and an easy-going brunch. Honestly, a plain bagel with cream cheese there is my favorite (they respect the shmear) but I will also jump for the The Reuben, The Capicola, and their baby-arugula salad. “Great customer service! We tried a few different sandwiches and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The burger and the BLT-ish were our favorites. The service was excellent! We had an issue placing our order online through the Inkind app, but the woman that helped us handled it quickly, asked questions to see how they could better handle Inkind orders for other customers in the future and was friendly and attentive. I meant to ask her name but forgot. She was working the evening of 3/9 at the register. That kind of service is extremely rare these days so it was refreshing and appreciated.“
“I have been eyeing Earl's sign about fresh roasted turkey and today I gave it a try (delivery). I have to say that Earl's is a real gem!Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce: Just divine! Turkey is so tender that it is falling apart (like pulled chicken). Bread is whole grain, fresh, and nice mix of seeds.Garlic chicken sandwich with roasted peppers: my husband said it was really good.Vegetable sandwich (with balsamic vinegar or basil mayo): Excellent, chock full of mushrooms.Salad (with chicken): excellent. “A very good Subway location. The fixings are consistently fresh and the sandwiches well prepared. Sometimes they appear to be out of select items, like cheeses. But, on the whole this is a great location that we return to. I've been using the iPhone Subway app to order online. Sandwiches are ready when I arrive. I would probably be easier to substitute items out of stock with an in-person order, but for now I'll be using the phone app for its convenience.“

“Ordered online today to pick up at 11:20am…. Walked to store and ended up waiting 40 minutes while the employees made all the customers that walked in orders first. The wait to pickup line kept growing and growing and since we had all paid for our meals, leaving was not an option. Not once did anyone acknowledge or apologize. It would I gotten order quicker by walking in to order. I think the manager needs to rethink that the call in orders are equally as important as walk-ins“

“I was out for a walk and searched for 'food near me' on Google Maps. The Sub Stop was close with over 4 stars, so I decided to try it. I had the cold cut sub with fries. Decent size sib and good fries portion. Although overpriced at more than $15.00, the portions were good, and the service was excellent. The realistic price for these subs is $10-$12. Food prices in general for eat out places like this are 30% more than they should be IMO, but this place is above average because of portion sizes and the service. Another plus was the Old Bay seasoning available for the fries!“

“Subway is a go to staple of mine. Today due to many factors I needed to buy lunch and was on 123. I saw this subway and pulled in. First off they greeted me as I entered. Nice touch. The store was adequately staffed and turning sandwiches fast. Everyone was friendly and professional. I ordered the subway club which is thankfully back on the menu. When I started eating my sandwich the first thing I noticed was the roll. This was much better then any subway I have been to. The roll had a nice crust and was soft and fluffy on the inside like it should be. All the ingredients tasted fresh and I have never been happier with a sandwich from subway in all the years I have been going (20+) Great crew at this location.“

So I called this location and told them my situation and oh my gosh I will never go to any other firehouse! They were so nice. We got here In about 10 minutes and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a perfect smile and “welcome to firehouse” they were soooo nice. Especially Fernando! He deserves a raise or something really special. He was so personable and understanding. It was like talking to a friend! Our card wasn’t working and he was so patient with us and helped us out.
