Portion size is perfect and accurate and you will not leave hungry. Every single dish was amazingly unique, It was an absolute amazing experience. The servers did an excellent job explaining each course in detail. The presentation was impeccable. the flavors were unmistakably and deliciously Tex-Mex.“

“We had a wonderful experience dining here! Our server checked on us regularly to make sure everything was going well. There was a slight delay with one of our drinks, but they handled it so graciously — they apologized and comped it without us even asking.

“On the recommendation of family I decided to find out for myself if Chuy's would measure up to their excellent version of Tex Mex cuisine. I had a craving for chicken fajitas and what came out was a scrumptious platter of perfectly seasoned, tender chicken. It was accompanied by a plethora of the freshest toppings i.e tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and shredded cheese. I eagerly feasted on the most pleasurable bites of savory goodness from the chips and salsa to the very last perfectly warmed tortilla wrap. Don't wait for Cinco de Mayo. Just go and have yourself a guaranteed epicurean delight!“

“This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The presentation was great as well Can't wait to come back.“

“The name is a little misleading. They serve authentic Latin American cuisine. Not a huge place, seating is limited. Consider takeout. I’m a huge fan of their salteñas and fried plantains. Very affordable. Entree portions are generous in my opinion. I’ve only been for lunch and dinner. The bakery case has lots of treats that I need to explore.“

“In Rio Grande Valley border towns, this South Texas chain is famous for its breakfast tacos with homemade tortillas. For maximum effect, go first thing in the morning when everything is fresh, order at the counter, and ask for your tacos con frijoles, papas (potato), y huevos (3 egg options were w/ chorizo, sausage and “a la Mexicana”). They’ll smear a spoonful of frijoles on the tortilla and then load it up with everything else. I’d also get salsa and pico de gallo, but on the side so it doesn’t get everything soggy. 2 tacos are enough for most people. They’re pretty big. I’d say the ones in the RGV are still on another level, but this is still doubtless the best breakfast tacos in NoVA, and I’m glad to have them when I’m craving something authentic. I was stunned when I realized this staple of my hometown had several locations here. They should probably limit their hours to early afternoon to focus on breakfast / lunch until they grow enough business out here. I think once it catches on, it’ll be yet another DC-area place with long lines.“

“Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. The owner was so friendly and they really made an effort to prepare our meal for us. Overall great food and we’ll definitely be coming back!“

I think I was the first customer and I bought a tri tip, an excellent cut of beef not carried by the local supermarkets. The restaurant portion of the store makes everything fresh to order, including the tortillas.“

“I love California Tortilla and this place didn't disappoint! The steak fajita burrito was delicious. The Coke from the machine was off, but I'll chock it up to a mistake. Someone probably put the wrong bag in the regular spot, it tasted like cherry. The sauce wall has some pretty amazing sauces and to-go containers. Will definitely be back!“

“My wife and I like going there for Taco Tuesday. But there's a woman who sits at the bar. Gets on her cell phone and screams into it to whoever she's talking to for an hour. It is so annoying. That I don't want to go there anymore. Shouldn't be able to sit at the bar and scream into your cell phone while people are trying to enjoy themselves. It is really unnerving.“
