We have no Del Taco's in northern VA. First time eating in one. Taco Bell is nice, but this is so much better. Tacos, light spice, fries crisp with salt, chicken cheese quessadilas really good. Staff friendly, and I wood have rated service higher, but after I ordered, I decided to get the cinnamon doughnut holes (2 orders of). Was not really impressed with Del Taco. The most bland chicken quesadilla ever (Taco Bell and Wawa both have better quesadillas). The place was very small with little seating. The drink and sauce area was lacking in straws and mild sauce. The staff was very fast and responsive though, especially with a high volume of orders.
First time trying Del Taco. I have heard some good and bad. But hey everyone deserves a shot right? Never again will I waste my money there. Better than Taco Bell? I think not. I ordered 2 soft tacos and they were more like rubber tacos. They microwaved them too long. Never had this problem anywhere else with soft tacos. Tacos Bell has much better flavored meat and bigger size regular soft taco. Thanks but no thanks.
