“Stopped here on a whim as we were leaving Virginia Beach and we were so glad we did. Loved the food. We had the shrimp and grits and our son had the pancakes. That was the best shrimp and grits my husband and I have had . Our 17 year old said his pancakes were the best he had ever had. And if you want coffee, they have the BEST!!!! Atmosphere is amazing. All the staff were friendly, and very helpful. Get there early before the doughnuts sell out. Purchased doughnuts for the road and let me say, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be going back when we return in July. Everyone needs to try this place. It is so worth it!!!!“

“Heirloom is always a delight, and tonight, as we celebrated our wedding anniversary, was no exception! The watermelon gazpacho amuse-bouche was a sweet start to the meal, followed by Oysters on the Half shell (a personal favorite), and the appetizer special of Peach Burrata salad was lovely. The true star, however, had to be the Black Sea Bass, which was butterflied and grilled, served over rice and vegetables. The sauce had a gentle smokiness to it that built to a perfect lingering flavor that complimented the gentle grilling style extremely well! I was lucky to be one of the first privileged to try it. Crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect completion to the meal. We left feeling very happy, and VERY full! Thank you to your incredible team, who take such wonderful care of us, as well as every customer dining tonight, and every night. Hats off to Heirloom!“

We loved it so much we returned within a week to treat our son while he was in town and have already made our Valentine’s Day reservation. “Roast beef sandwich was hot and good.
Service was very good.
Avoid the Bread Pudding.
It wasn't a bread pudding. It was a DENSE cinnamon and raisin cake. I sliced it with a knife. My friends also disliked it because it wasn't a bread pudding. For $9 it was a dense cake, ice cream topping w/drizzled carmel and whipped cream. They should NOT have added the word PUDDING on this dessert. This is a very heavy cake.

We were greated promptly and brought right to our table even though our full party wadn't arrived yet. Mozzerella balls and brussell sprouts were so tasty and Emily L made some wonderful recommendations on entree choices. The radiatore was to die for.“

“My husband and I meet here for lunch now and again. Today, we walked in, and something smelled amazing. I asked the lady at the register, and she told me it was the croutons. We ordered our food and sat down to eat. While we were eating, she came and found me and brought me a few hot fresh croutons. They were AMAZING! She absolutely made my day. I've enjoyed everything I have tried there. But next time, I will definitely be getting a salad so I can enjoy those croutons again!“
