“We went for lunch on a sunny Saturday. All that was available outside was a table without an umbrella, which we took. But when an umbrella table opened up we were switched. Just one example of the superb service. Both the curry chicken and pulled pork were excellent. Best Pommes Frites ever. Beautiful setting. And dog friendly outside!“

“Great place to sit, relax, and have a sip of something delicious! Bring your own snacks (they have snacks there too, but it’s fun to have your own variety too) and take a break. I love the old fashioned, but they have a lot of tasty drinks and you can always just sip it straight! Sit inside in winter, outside by the water in summer! It’s the best place to take a break!“

“My husband and I dropped in today for lunch after a hike. We have had coffee and baked goods before and knew we’d enjoyed both thoroughly, so we thought we’d try the lunch menu. I ordered the Mediterranean plate and he got the BBQ plate. Both were delicious!! The falafel on the Med plate was outstanding, and all of the vegetables tasted so fresh! His pulled pork was wonderful as well. Can’t wait to return and try other menu items! Highly recommend!“

The tasting room itself is tasteful yet welcoming. Add in the friendly, knowledgeable staff (they clearly love what they do and want you to enjoy it, too), and you’ve got a winery that delivers both warmth and quality. Also, the culinary touches are the cherry on top—Indian food pairings, small plates, samosas, etc.—gives it an extra dimension you don’t often find at wineries. It’s not just about the wine; it’s about the whole moment. If you love great wine, beautiful surroundings, and genuine hospitality, Narmada Winery is one of the best in VA. Highly, highly recommend. “Amazing authentic Belgian style lambic and gueze brewery. Most beers and cider are on the tart or sour side - but traditional Belgian rather than most US sours that skirt being vinegar. I was there for the 10 year anniversary and was lucky enough to try a few aged and collaborations they opened for the event - all were amazing. It reminded me of Cantillon or 3 Fontein at their best.

Food was also incredible- not at all what you would expect. There is a clear focus on quality ingredients and flavors. I got a bit of the raw tuna on fresh tomato and the peach cobbler. Both were superficially simple but with layers of complexity and deliciousness - just like the beers!“
