“Best diner around here! The food is actually FRESH here, and too many just serve microwaved meal portions on little plates. Some of the chef's specials lean a little spicy, which suits me fine. But if you're looking for a good honest meal, served on one plate (Like it should be). This is the place to go! Prices are decent, too.“

We were in town for a conference and popped in for a bite after reading good reviews. It was a busy night so they had a bit of a wait. So we stopped by next door at the distillery while we waited.

The staff was so nice. From the chats at the distillery to the servers at the restaurant, our every need was anticipated and met.

The food was great. The brisket was so tender and flavorful. The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection. And don't get me started on the pork rinds! The plate was ENORMOUS!

We had such a great time we stopped back by the distillery after dinner. Cannot say enough good things about this spot!

“I've ate burgers in different chains all across America and in other countries as well. No one comes close to the Big Pal. It always has been and always will be the best burger you can eat. The only caveat is, make sure you order it with pickles (once you try it, you can never get it without them).“

“Came in with a large party with a few hours reservation notice, there was a little bit of a wait on bread & food but it was a Saturday night so that’s a given, but the food was still great and I’m thankful for that. Ribs were fall off the bone and juicy, appetizers were HOT! only complaint was that one of our appetizers didn’t come out until my main course came out which left half the table with their appetizers to eat and the other half just waiting… but stuff happens. Seemed like my server didn’t have any outside help which made me feel kind of bad for her but she stayed on top of everything. But I still had a great time and it wasn’t overwhelmingly loud and I’ll definitely be coming back. No one had any complaints about their food.“

“I recently bought a new location in Kingsport and I’m so tired of fast food! I fount this place and have been going for several weeks now about once a week. The food is absolutely delicious I’ve only had the hot dogs and chickens sandwich and fries and beans but can vouch every time the food is hot and fresh! Doesn’t make you feel bloated and love the atmosphere! Very nice place for lunch!“

She gave great recommendations on the menu and checked on us frequently and didn’t let our drinks get empty. “We ate here on May 18th we took our son here to celebrate him graduating . We had to wait for about 30 mins but we knew that and understood. Our silverware was a little dirty, the food was delicious however when our food was brought out to our table my steak medallions wasn't ready I was told they ran out and had to cut more and it would be a few more minutes. I just got a to go box for mine. So overall the only complaint I would have would be the silverware and having to wait a little longer on my food was all. The food was amazing and our waitress was very nice. This was our sons first time eating here and he's already talking about eating there again.“

“A couple years ago I wrote a negative review of Huey Magoo's in Kingsport. Recently I have had the opportunity to revisit this restaurant two time. I don't know what went wrong on my first visit but the last two times I have been there the chicken tenders have been delicious. Very tender. One time I went at lunch time and the other at an odd hour between lunch and dinner and both times the food was fresh and delicious. A bonus - they serve coleslaw with there meals. Something that doesn't seem available at other chicken tender restaurants. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Also, the girl that took my order and brought it to me this last time was Amanda. She was so pleasant and very kind.“
