It was actually Easter, and I had a long, emotional day—I had taken my mother to the hospital and, being 8 months pregnant, I hadn’t eaten yet. I was exhausted and overwhelmed. But an employee named Anthony completely turned my day around.
His attitude was amazing—so polite, patient, and genuinely kind. He treated me with such care and respect, and in that moment, it meant everything. This is exactly the kind of customer service we need more of today.

“I have been eating at Earl's for 15+ years. Personal favorites are the Pork and Fries, Salmon BLT and Cuban Club, but all of the sandwiches and sides are excellent. New Orleans Turkey Gumbo is an underrated choice for something outside the sandwiches as well. Ingredients and staff are the best and I have never had anything but great food here.“

“The Sandwich Shop is awesome! I’ve had every sandwich a few times, and some dozens of times. They are all great. And the fries are the best! But if you don’t want fries, get the cheesy bacon tater tots! You can’t go wrong. This is a real gem in Vienna.“

“This place has really good banh mi at good prices. I think they may have changed their bread recipe recently, because the bread used to be too hard but now it's soft with the right amount of crisp on the crust. Ham Banh Mi is hard to beat.

Vietnamese coffee also really, really good.It's the best option I've found in NoVA for both Banh Mi and Vietnamese coffee.“

“Hidden in the university mall shopping center is this well decorated restaurant/cafe. The staff is so friendly and the service is so fast. We had the sea salt coffee which is delicious. You must also try any of their banh mi’s. They offer a meal deal as well. Incredibly affordable!“

“The owner goes above and beyond. Upon entering, she took our order and we sat down.
A large group walked in shortly, and she wanted them to be comfortable so she pulled over a table and chairs, and urged that she wanted them to be comfortable.

We ordered the pancake platter, mango tango smoothie, and the Philly cheese steak.

The pancakes were fluffy, eggs cooked to perfection. And the sandwich was nicely composed. Not oily like most Philly sandwiches. The bell peppers in the Philly tasted fresh and the meat was soft and tender. Flavors, overall great.

The place felt like a home, and everything made to order.

“This is my favorite Subway. I have been to many subways in my lifetime. I've never been impressed to where I thought I'd write a review. I've come here three times so far and each time I was greeted with a smile. The vegetables are always fresh and the store is always clean. The employees are always patient with me and my kids because we never know what we want. One day I had gotten off of work and got some mud in the store from my boots. They were not angry at all, definitely didn't do it on purpose, but they could see how exhausted and hungry I was at the time. Many Subways I’ve visited in recent years have become dirty and poorly run with ingredients that look old, so this is the only one I go to now. “You know exactly what to expect at a Jersey Mikes. It’s hard to screw up a fresh sub but Jersey Mikes luckily (for me) always knocks it out of the park.

I am writing this review though for the staff. This location is near my work and I go somewhat regularly. Often enough to notice what a great team you have at this store. They are friendly, seem happy to be there and genuinely interested in making your sandwich just the way you want it. They say hello to everyone who walks in the door and several by name who must be regulars.

Kudos to the team and leadership. That kind of work culture takes a lot of time and effort to create and maintain and it keeps me coming back as a customer.

My favorites are the Italian on Parm bread Mikes way with relish. The cheesesteak, add bacon. The Tuna is always good too.“

“This deli is hidden and tucked away but is a gem of a find. It has a classic workplace deli feel and the staff knows people and their orders by name, which tells you a lot about how good the food is. It’s really well priced and it’s surprisingly good for being a workday deli. It can be a bit slow during the lunch rush since they are small but it’s definitely worth the wait.“
