“Normally Chipotles are 5 stars. This one gets my business because of it being so close. The food is very over cooked. The meats is dry. The service is slow. You do get the chipotle taste and they are not stingy with the portions. That is the saving grace of this chipotle.“

“Last night was my husband’s and my first time dining here, and it truly left an impression. One of the first things we loved was the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community. As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Anyone facing a tough time can simply take a ticket from the wall for a prepaid meal such a thoughtful and meaningful concept.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal (I wish I remembered her name! -- She had long red wavy hair). She took the time to walk us through the menu, shared her personal favorites, and recommended several must-try tacos. Let me just say… she did not miss!

Every single bite was bursting with flavor. We tried the birria, Havana, Rus & Gus, and Peruvian chicken tacos, along with the street corn salad and veggies on the side and everything was incredible. From the food to the service to the heart behind the restaurant, this place checks all the boxes.

“This was my second time here, and I am even more impressed this time! The service is very friendly and they cook everything to order so it's nice and fresh. The birria queso tacos are some of the best I have ever had (the consume is so good I literally sip on whatever is leftover!) And the lengua...omg the lengua! Tender, bursting with flavor, def some of the best I have ever had! The salsa Roja has good flavor and a nice kick to it (on the level of Diablo Sauce from Taco Bell). I overheard them say business is slow because of the weather, so do yourselves and them a favor and show them some love! They accept cash and cards, and there isn't any online ordering but you can call in your order.“

“This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The presentation was great as well Can't wait to come back.“

“it's on Langston blvd but It's really Lee highway. This is my absolute favorite location for a few reasons. Its on the way home from work, it's never overly crowded and it's by far the best bc of the staff. Rosa, Joseph and Maria have been cooking my nightly meals more then a few times and it's always an absolute pleasure bc the food is top notch, they are friendly, caring and have a knack for making you laugh as soon as you enter the door. In this age where cookie cutter nonsense is the norm they are not. They feel like a part of the neighborhood. They know people's names (or ask) and just have a very down to earth vibe about them. I even got a bonus taco. Yes you read that right. A bonus taco. Who could ask for more after a long 12 hour day. When I'm exhausted after work there is no other place I'd rather get food from then them. Thank you and cya next week.“

“First time seeing this place, but I knew what I wanted immediately. Loaded fresh birria tacos, the most satisfying in northern Virginia. Ask for hot sauce upgrades! I didn't dip these because they seem perfect as served. Get some tres leches to soothe the sizzle.“

Ordering was smooth, the selection was large, and the taste authentic. What really surprised us was the quality of the food, as it didn’t feel like fast food at all. The creamy cheese poured over the taco was the highlight, both looking and tasting fantastic, and even the chips and cauliflower tacos were flavorful and authentic. “A bit of a mixed bag. The chips and salsa have always been good here. My son’s carne asada tacos and my wife’s veggie fajitas were good. My chicken enchiladas left a lot to be desired. They were dry with not much sauce. Given the prices you would think they could fly to New Mexico and learn how to make an enchilada. My daughter’s nachos were pretty good. “On 12/4/25 my wife and I visited Anita's for lunch. It was not our first visit, but it dawned on us during this visit that this restaurant had many of the features which we were looking for for a large family gathering on 12/10/25 following an outdoor funeral/burial in Fairfax: a separable part of the restaurant for 30-40 attendees, a large immediately adjacent parking lot, a location already familiar to many of the attendees, an in-house bar, an expandable staff to service our group, an ability for attendees to order from Anita's regular menu and reasonable prices. Our recommendation to choose Anita's was accepted by leaders of our group, our choice was papered with Anita's catering staff and notices of the selection with address and directions were prepared for our group. Our burial ceremony was reduced in length due to the cold weather so that we set out for Antia's earlier than planned. We alerted Anita's of our early arrival. Everything went exceedingly well. Our sporadically arriving group was seated, menus distributed, drink and then food orders were taken and food started to come out of the kitchen. More than adequate supplemental staff had been arranged to serve us by Anita's. Payment arrangements were quickly made with Anita's and, under the circumstances, everyone appeared to have had a memorable visit. I apologize for the length and detail of this review, but I thought that the background of our visit to this remarkable restaurant would better put into context the circumstances of our visit and our appreciation and thanks to Anita's for its handling of the situation.“
