“Emailed Trevor and asked about catering for my boyfriends birthday party. He was so accommodating and helpful from start to finish. The pulled pork was amazing!! We ordered the peach habanero sauce along with the Kansas City BBQ sauce. Both were a huge hit with our friends and family. I also ordered a tray of Macaroni and Cheese and Baked Beans along with a tray of Cole Slaw!! I had never tried any of their food but found them through a Google search I was super impressed with taste of the food and will definitely do catering with them again!!“

“My favorite ice cream ever! The peppermint bark in the december and July is one of the most amazing desserts I ever had honestly but I generally get the salted caramel chocolate chunk cuz peppermint bark is not there as often but its almost equally as amazing, there sorbets are really good to😋“

“EXCELLENT sandwiches and services! This was our first time visiting and could not have been more impressed with this restaurant. My husband, who is incredibly picky and hates trying new things loved his Italian sandwich so much he got one to go. Our server was able to suggest a wine that was also delicious. Will definitely be going back!!“

“You can build your own pizza or choose one from their menu. The menu selections are interesting! We each tried a different one (Buffalo chicken and hot honey pepperoni) - both were delicious! Would definitely eat here again. Very casual atmosphere but yummy food.“
“We stayed in the Blue Ridge hot tub suite for 2 night. Our stay was extremely relaxing. The hot tub was the best! The installations on how to open the cover and operate helped a lot. We knew the restaurant would be closed on Monday and Tuesday so we brought plenty of food. The kitchen has a nice size mini fridge with a small freezer shelf. There is a two burner cooktop and a smaller 5 cup coffee pot. We took several walks, watched the horses, gazed at the stars, sat in the hot tub at least 5 times, ate good food… we can’t wait to come back here again !“

“I stopped at China King with my 4 year old son and we both enjoyed the Chicken Lo Mein. It was ready in a timely manner and was very good. China King seems to cater mainly to take-out orders (which we didn't know) but they do have a few tables in the eating area. My son did enjoy sitting there and watching all of the people as they came and went to get their food.“

“Wasn't very busy on a Monday night. In town for a College tour for our son the following day, but our niece is a student at JMU, so we picked her up. Food was good, nothing amazing and lots, mean lots to choose from. Server was nice, but very slow and would disappear often. Cashing out we waited for over 15mins, then brought our check to the bartender. The atmosphere is very cool though. Little game area in the back. Cool statues and a big JMU Bulldog. Would like to check this place out on a Friday or Saturday night, sure its bumping.“

“Thoroughly enjoyed the Alpine Goat Brewery's inaugural Oktobest event held on 14 September. The wide variety of flavorful brews, authentic German Oompah music, welcoming staff, ample and free parking, and gregarious patrons combined for a delightful experience. The venue is absolutely family friendly offering games and activities for children. The food trucks offered a variety of items including ice cream and shakes. I definitely will return!“
