“We ate here today.The food was excellent. We had the shrimp boat as an appetizer. Enough for two. My husband had the combo, potroast & meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, along with creamed spinach. I had the crab-a-bella with jasmine rice. Our server was Brandon C. This was our 2nd visit during our vacation. We encourage all to visit this resturant.“

Center Street Grill is a hidden gem in Williamsburg that we stumbled on thanks to a post on Neighbor to Neighbor. When I read the post I had to check out and I am so glad my husband and our good friend did. We were not disappointed and ready to go back! We will definitely add Center Street Grill to our go to place for date night and a hang out with friends!! I highly recommend!“

On our first day we enjoyed the delicious Ruben sandwich, the fries, the huge onion rings perfectly cooked, a very fresh side salad and a shrimp po’boy that was running over with shrimp. On another day we ordered the honey BBG wings. We will visit again the Eagles restaurant the next time we are in Kingsmill.“

As he brought everyone at our table their meat meal, he set a vegetable meal in front of her! She was surprised and delighted! He saved the day!“

“A little hidden gem in the west gate resort. You do not have to stay at the resort to go. Good food and great selection of Sly Clyde and beers as well as canned mimosa ciders and wine. Pizza was great. Outdoor seating is nice as well. Check it out !!“

“The waitresses at both the lunches were friendly and attentive to my needs. I went for lunch a few times and had dinner there once. For both lunches, I had the Buttered bun Bacon Cheeseburger (medium well) with my choice of Swiss cheese, fries, and drink. I liked it so much that I ordered the same thing the second time. For dinner, the waiter was also friendly and attentive even though he was busy. I had the fish and fries, in which, was super yummy. Also ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries to go. That way, I'd have it in the room for later. Will have to go back sometime and order both the bacon cheeseburger and fish meals again.

“We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

“I've been a regular at WW for twenty years that when I moved to VA. Since Covid I had not been back until recently at a Yelp Event. But for whatever reason I'm unsure why I never wrote a positive review for a great place.

The Williamsburg Winery users many of their grapes from out of state. It's a common practice. The Governor's White is there most popular wine and is one that uses imported grapes.

The grounds has a new addition that I visited. It's an outdoor patio type space for events. They also have their Gabriel Archer cafe that I have not tried since 2018.

Williamsburg Winery offers a full service line up of wine and tastings are available. With the holidays approaching it's great time to consider them and they will ship.

Finally, another space on the grounds I have never checked out is their fancy hotel. The Wedmore Hotel is used for all kinds of events, assume wedding being the most in season. However, check them out if you have plans to travel in the city. Maybe a Colonial Williamsburg trip, or Busch Gardens.
