My wife told me to say something, but quite honestly I dislike such encounters and we arrived near close. Also, I was just happy her custard and daughter’s custard exceeded their expectations. We split the grilled fish (always fresh, always flavorful), and we request the chili oil on the side because a little goes a long way. Pro tip: their house hot sauce? We buy it every time we’re there. We also ordered the ceviche (refreshing, balanced, and beautifully plated, and their margarita is one of the few in town that actually tastes crafted—not syrupy. The War & Pisco cocktail was a surprise favorite for my MIL; light, sparkling, with a perfect hint of raspberry and basil. The vibe is cozy but lively, perfect for a date night or introducing someone to your go-to local gem. Every time we visit, the food is consistent, the service is kind but never pushy, and we leave talking about what we’ll order next time.“

“If you give Brusters some bananas on Thursdays you can get a half off banana 🍌 split and we just give them the bananas and I ask them if they can put no bananas on it and they say yes 👍🏼 and theirs a food lion across from Bruster’s so you can just get the bananas 🍌 at their ! It has very good service and the best ice cream 🍦 ever we go their almost every Thursday yay !“

“Excellent value! My husband and I ordered hibachi take-out from this very small place, and we paid for two hibachi meals what we would have paid for one at a fancy hibachi restaurant. Same great food without the fanfare show and high prices. If you just want the hibachi meal without the flare, this place is for you. Great food, huge portions, awesome prices. Food was ready in ten minutes and was hot and fresh. You can even watch the cook grilling your food through a window. Yum!“

I have to say, hands down some of the best bagels we've ever had. The texture was perfect. I especially loved the honey-whole wheat everything bagels...honestly wish I could have these regularly, but I live 13 hours away.“

“We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

Center Street Grill is a hidden gem in Williamsburg that we stumbled on thanks to a post on Neighbor to Neighbor. When I read the post I had to check out and I am so glad my husband and our good friend did. We were not disappointed and ready to go back! We will definitely add Center Street Grill to our go to place for date night and a hang out with friends!! I highly recommend!“

“We made a late dinner reservation for my family. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated immediately. We had a nice table in their dining room and our Waitress Samantha took our order quickly. We stared with the fried oysters which were absolutely delicious, then I had the Blue Cheese Burger, my sister had the turkey burger and my mom had the shrimp and chicken jambalaya. The kids had the chicken nuggets and grilled cheese. Everything was delicious and I loved my burger. I am not a huge blue cheese fan but that burger was amazing. Everything was made fresh and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back.“
