“Our server was very kind and accommodating. He even took time to chat with us about stuff other than food which is rare, most servers just want to bring you your food and move onto the next guests.
Their dough is the best I have ever tasted, the flavor is incredible. Blows every other dough I have tried out of the water in terms of flavor and texture. Incredible.
Would have never guessed this place only opened a year and a half ago, THEN had to close for the flood. So they have barely been operating for a year. They have it down.
The building it is in is very nice and upscale and the outdoor seating offered great views of downtown but was still relatively quiet from background noise.
I got the Margherita pizza as my main course and it was great.
Would absolutely recommend. The bill was only like $60 for 3 of us too, and we got appetizers, entrees, and drinks.”

“Superb small selection of baked goods, served by nice people. The chocolate croissants are the best we've ever had, the brownies are luscious... The selection is small (limited number of items) but whoever is the baker at Birchgrove is world-class quality. If you want the best, go here!”

“The staff was super friendly, service was quick, food was fantastic, and I loved the goat saag. We shared a variety of dishes, my friends liked the Goat Biryani best. The mango dessert was a treat we shared.”

“As a vegan, there are limits to what I can have on Cornerstones menu, but there are a couple of options and the staff are accommodating. Service 8s excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful but the acoustics make it tough to hold conversations...a very loud environment....bring strong listening skills with you.”

“My husband and I ate there last night for our 20th anniversary. He can be very discerning when it comes to his steak and restaurants in general- but we both loved our dinner! Our server Bri was wonderful and we had a great experience- we’ll definitely be back!!”
“The food tastes great and is a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. 10/10 for me”

“Solid pho and other viet/thai fare. Restaurant clearly understaffed as waiter was doing the best she could servicing lunch rush by herself. Overall good Asian lunch from a rather homogeneously vanilla town in Vermont.”

“The best thing I’ve ever eaten: their gluten free vegan blondie with maple syrup, chocolate chunks, and walnuts. It was AMAZING. Delicious. Incredible. They warmed it up and it was melt in your mouth good. Thank you for having so many good vegan options!!”

“Lazy Lions was our Vt stop during a 3 week trip doing New York and New England. Not knowing the area I picked it for a central location to things I planned on doing. That worked out well. Things we did… Rock of Ages, Ben and Jerry’s, Stowe Gondola, Cider Mill, Morse Maple syrup, and the Cabot store. There is a bike path near that we would have liked to ride but ran out of time.
The campground was clean, peaceful, landscaped nicely. They accommodate every type of camper, tent, even had cabins. If in the area would definitely stay again.”
“When the bartender shakes the tumbler in time to the music, you know you're in the right place!”

“This is a beautiful spot by the winooski river, we ate on the outside porch with a view of the river, even saw a mother Robin feeding its young in a nest in the rafters. I had linguine pescatore which was delicious, my partner had scampi e cape sante also delicious but unfortunately both meals were light on the scallops hers had 1, also I have to wonder why some sort of bread wouldn’t be served with these dishes. I did mention to staff after and they offered to compensate which I turned down but was made sure I would be treated next time we’re in the area The staff here are great and service was quick, definitely a place to go”

“Intriguing art abounds in every corner of this bar and the plethora of disco balls encourages one to get their groove on. It’s a terrific venue for bands looking to reach an appreciative crowd of live music lovers. Service was friendly and excellent, willing to mix you a grandpa’s whisky sour with Squirt. Not your typical bar fare here with coq au vin over noodles and gumbo that was a standout.”
“This review is written by my daughter for the Good Citizens Challenge Vermont 2024.
Manghi's Bread, first of all has great food.
The highlight for me coming to manghis is their rolls,
these are delicous treats that they sell to kids for five cents!
The service is great when you go into their little shop, some one is ready to help you.
Over all I would give Manghis Bread five stars.

“peanut butter zebra bar is outstanding. It is has the proper balance of sweetness with chocolate and slight peanut better. It is not over powering but delicious.”
“Great food! Great people! Great prices! I’m glad the business was sold into hands that are very capable and friendly. We need that around here! And I’m glad to see Bob Sr still up and doing what he loves.”
