“We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.“

“We made reservations for our large group ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making recommendations from the menu. The food was all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal. About half of our group hadn’t had Indian food before but they all left as fans! The waiter was able to easily guide the vegan in our group to a variety options for him. We all enjoyed tea and a sweet at the end. We are so glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be back!“

Be careful online ordering. It assumes you want tuna unless you unselect it. Picking a different protein does not remove the tuna.“

We loved the muhamarra, fresh pita, heirloom tomato salad, and our absolute favorite was the Kale salad- which I am still dreaming about. 4 dishes were enough for 2 people.

“Love this location because of the beautiful garden to sit in out front! The vegan cheese is incredibly creamy and makes for a very yummy pizza with all the veggie toppings available, although I feel the amount of toppings actually put on gets sparser each time I go unfortunately. Besides that and how expensive both sizes are, I still highly recommend for the setting experience and the vegan options!“

“I will admit, first time I went to Healthy Living Store, it was confusing. It felt like a maze and still does to certain degree. However, the food quality is amazing, the staff is mostly UVM College students. Super polite, efficient, kind and courteous. They carry some items that I like so far.

A bit pricey but it is one of the few places, I do not mind ponying up the dollars based on the food and experience.

“Booked a table and was ready on time.Surpringingly Busy i think for a Wednesday.The waitress was great and you would think i would remember her name.She was very attentive but not over bearing.WE did eat near entrance bit didn't affect our dining experience.Food was delicious but oysters were a bit small but Tasty.That could be the way they come at this time of year.The food was very good and first time there.stayting at best western and Restaurat is like 1 minute walk.Will be back as my wife is a patient UVM.Would laos go by myself has a good atmosphere.Might sit at the car if by meslef.Thanks for the great meal and great service,“
