“Incredible hidden gem at Killington! We shared the fondue, had some lamb’s shephard, and croque monsieur. All fabulous and the atmosphere was so cozy and unique. Felt like I was in a mountain restaurant in the Swiss Alps. Highly recommend!!“

“I live in Maine and heard about Southside Steakhouse from a friend. The service was great. Bruce was right on top of everything. The oysters 🦪 were delicious. I had the prime rib and let me tell you it was over the top delicious. I highly recommend it for service, food and drinks 🍹. I was very disappointed in the place allowing men to wear hats. Call me old fashioned but good manners are not that hard. It just looks disrespectful to your place of business. You are a very good restaurant and asking for men to remove their hat is only going to draw people back.“

“We arrived at a good time about 7 and got seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and on task. I had the newly added Sesame Salmon Bowl which was exceptionally good. I am a plant-based eater that will occasionally eat seafood so there are limited choices here. The bowls are my go-to. My husband enjoyed his meal, so overall, the dining experience was pleasant. 😊“

“While I didn’t eat here, I enjoyed a few beer while watching the World Cup. The bar staff was very pleasant and the service was on point. The beer was a bit expensive, but it was very comparable to other establishments in the Killington area. I spend a few hours here and enjoyed my time. There were mostly locals at the bar when I visited and I could tell they were regulars. They were all greeted by name and the staff knew exactly what they would be wanting. I felt at home here. I highly recommend this bar and restaurant.“

“We came here in the evening after not preparing adequately to get a reservation for a party of 9…. They were SO accommodating. Sergio, our server, was amazing and super attentive. The food was delicious (especially the siracha bourbon chicken wings, imo) and we had a great experience. Highly recommend!“

“Best Grinders in the world, and I’ve been around at 92. Recently changed hands, better telephone service. Lived nearby for 11 years, now many hours away, but worth the trip, especially after a day of traveling home to take a well wrapped large Italian hot grinder out of the cooler and feast. Stays fresh and tasty.“

“We have dined at Preston's many times since It's right in the hotel where we stay. The food and service are always solid. But this past weekend the restaurant knocked it out of the park with a wine pairing menu which was fantastic. Appetizers were swordfish and tuna. Both great! For the main venison was amazing as well as the duck breast Hopefully they will keep the above items as part of their regular menu“

“We first visited The Foundry at Summit Pond about 5 years ago during the pandemic, and it was such a gift to be dining somewhere so exceptionally cozy and delicious in those times. Coming back in 2025, we were thrilled to find that same ski-town charm, only now with a much busier, lively vibe. Live music by Liz Reedy was a bonus! 🎶 The food is excellent (still!), and our waiter Chad was absolutely darling - so personable, attentive, and fun to chat with. After a couple of their considerate pours, I accidentally called him Robert twice (oops!) and worried I might’ve offended him, but he handled it with total grace. All in all, The Foundry remains a Killington gem - delicious food, great drinks, and warm service. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“We were in the Vermont area for the weekend. I have celiac disease so we searched the internet for places to eat. I’m so glad we stopped in. Our waitress was absolutely fabulous and double checked to make sure there was zero cross contamination. They used separate utensils, pans and even a dedicated toaster. Would highly recommend! Hopefully we will be in the area to visit again!“

“This place has a great atmosphere as well as great tasting food and very pleasant staff. I feel the only thing that would be missing is music. Not too loud but just pop music from the 80s 90s and early 2000s a.k.a. happy music for people or classic rock can’t go wrong with that.“
